My High School wasn’t like that.. We had bullies and jocks and junk, but they weren’t really into picking on other people. I only got teased ’til like 9th grade, and even then most of it was cuz I was fat.. Mostly in good fun tho’, Lotta “big boy” stuff thrown at me, but never trying to really get at me.

The production was okay.. some good stuff, some bad stuff.. In all fairness, I picked that up in 2002 when my Bad Boy stanism gathered steam after Saga COntinues and We Invented the Remix.

I think by that point I couldn’t buy Puffy as a gangster at all.. As for when it came out, I was unhappy with rap as a whole (except for dre and eminem, and maybe a few other random singles), so I never bothered.

But yeah, tween the hit or miss production, the lack of Ma$e, and Sean Combs trying to be SuperKillaNiggaThug, I just can’t dig it.

Actually, part of that is cuz he switched up his whole style, his whole message to try to keep up with the south (some production on that and some of his flows were southern sounding–i’m not hating) or with the Ruff Ryder/Rocafella gun talk.. He shoulda stuck to doing him, whatever that meant.

I’ll give you the guest appearances (except for Jay’s phoned-in verse), they were all tight.

Regarding Bundles….we all handle situations with death differently. If you heard of him, familiar with his work, its okay to pay your respects. But if you’ve never heard of the guy before and he’s had no impact on your life, then a “R.I.P.” shouldn’t forced out of somebody. It’s disrespecting him that is unnecessary. But who’s joking and who’s being serious, it’s hard to tell at times. That’s why when certain ish pops off I don’t get involved too tuff.

^Depends on the person. B’more is only 3 hours from NYC and we’ve had a lot of migration from the Tri-State for the last 15 years. Add to the impact that East Coast hip hop had on our area since it was created. Like Joe88 said, B’more is very divided when it comes to hip hop. The locals often refer to it as the Dirty North because it doesn’t have any Southern amenities yet will always be located JUST below the Mason-Dixon line and still embraces Southern music (excluding Yours Truly). So yeah, when referring to me, I’m an old school Timbs, Carhartts and hoodies type ninja. As for NY teams, we didn’t get a NFL team (again) until 1995 and still haven’t had a basketball team since the Dirty District took the Bullets. And speakin’ of them, we don’t root for their teams… because… well, we HATE them! But Tri-State have always been rivals (mainly on some “tough guy” shit).

Fun Fact: The original Yankees was a pro team that was taken from Baltimore.

angels yes…best and deepest pitching staff in baseball…red sox not so much they are in the middle of overachieving they got beckett and a bunch of ok pitchers, schilling isnt quite the same ( defintely not against the yankees ) dice-k was overhyped, wakefield scares no one especially not the yankees anymore… the red sox line up is waaaay overacheiving as well they will come back down to earth by playoff time and the yankees will be the better team
