Dear Slim
So by now many of you have probably heard about this kid Kyle Spratt from Ontario. He jacked Kim Mathers’ cell phone from a bingo hall where he worked and copied down Em and Obie’s phone numbers before returning it. He then waited a few days and hit Em up begging him to listen to his demo.
Em declined, and Spratt received a call from the fuzz shortly thereafter. Spratt recorded both conversations and incorporated them into a song called "Slim Sellout." At the beginning you can hear the phone conversation that Spratt had with Em, who tries to change his voice and act like it’s not him. Pretty fucking hilarious.
The song was originally posted on his Myspace page, but it was removed the other day, and so I decided to liberate it here.
