TRENTON — A Pennsylvania man found out he was looking for love in all the wrong places this weekend when he paid a visit to the Capital City.
Having met what he thought was a willing younger woman through a phone chat dating service, the man came to Trenton Saturday looking for a hookup.
What he found instead, police said, was a setup and a holdup.
The victim, 44-year-old James Glackin, of Strasburg, Pa., came to a home in the 500 block of Lamberton Street on Saturday night. Police said he was summoned there by what he thought was his date for the evening — a 21-year-old female Glackin met through the phone dating service “Live Links.”
Police said that while Glackin was in the home getting to know his date in person, the woman received a phone call, and police don’t believe the call was from the dating line. The woman, police said, simply replied, “Yeah,” to the caller on the other end, and soon after, three other suspects rushed into the house. Glackin, police said, became concerned at the sudden intrusion and attempted to flee the house. He grabbed his briefcase and tried to run.
Police said the suspects grabbed him, assaulted him and robbed him however, taking his cell phone brief case and wallet. Eventually, police said, Glackin managed to escape and he started to run towards Cass and Lamberton streets. Patrol Sergeant Brian Cipolloni spotted Glackin at the corner of Stockton and Hanover streets, where the victim relayed his story with the investigation.
During the investigation officers canvassed the area and found two brown shoes and assorted paper work belonging to Glackin inside a garbage can in front of the “date’s” home. Police also towed Glackin’s car for evidence processing. None of the suspects were named by police and they’ve reported no arrests in the case.
Glackin’s fraudulent love interest was described as a 21-year-old black female, 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing 135 pounds. She was wearing a white T-shirt and black Capri pants at the time of the rendezvous. The suspects who broke up the tryst were described only as two black males and a black female. One of the male robbers was said to be wearing a yellow T-shirt and blue jeans at the time of the crime.

Koch Records has entered into an agreement to buy Navarre Corporation’s independent music distribution business for $6.5 million in cash it was announced today (May 14).
Koch has agreed to purchase all outstanding equity in Navarre Entertainment Media, a publisher and distributor of physical and digital home entertainment and multimedia products.
The deal gives Koch access to exclusive distribution agreements with various independent music labels. Navarre was generating approximately $50 million a year in annual net revenue.
“I am delighted that after twenty years of steady organic growth we are now making a significant acquisition that will further enhance our leadership position in independent music distribution,” said Koch’s CEO Michael Koch. “We are now the only true independent distributor with scale and our market share has gone from 1.8 to around 2.7 percent. Needless to say, we at Koch continue to believe in the future of music and retail.”
Koch Records already has exclusive distribution deals with various rappers, including Jim Jones, Snoop Dogg, D-Block, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, DJ Khaled, Xzibit and others.

^I knew I heard gunshots. And for the record, yeah it is BYOB. I should forewarn that Pimilico is right next to one of the most notorious B’more hoods… Park Heights. But plenty of Curtis protection will be available for you fuckers. Your best bet will be to get there as early as possible and park your car in the Pimilico Middle School parking lot. Or somewhere in Jew Town (yes, the real name for a town full of Jews). Northern Parkway is the main street that splits Park Heights (aka Lil’ Jamaica) and Jew Town. Pimlico Race Track is on the PH side. Don’t park at Sinai Hospital unless you find a discrete spot, or your shit will get towed. Also, don’t wear any nice clothes because it will be a mud/shit fest. If you see a Black person flaggin’ you sayin’ that they have a parkin’ space, it means it is a local resident. They have lil’ driveways on the sides of their house. They might charge you a fee (anywhere between $5 - $10). A Florida based DJ has filed a misdemeanor battery complaint against comedian Tracy Morgan claiming he inappropriately groped her while making an appearance at a local radio station.
According to The Miami Herald, while Morgan appeared on the “Paul and Young Ron Show” on Big 105.9 FM on Friday (May 11), witnesses told authorities the comic appeared ‘’totally out of it’.’ After a 20-minute profanity-laced interview with the disc jockeys, he would then stumble out of the studio before finding his way into its sister station, Mega 94.9, located a few doors down in the same building.
Sandy Domingo, a DJ on Mega 94.9 FM whose real name is Yuleik DeCastro, told police that Morgan walked into her studio and began fondling her as she was broadcasting. She said he smelled like he had been drinking.
Several witnesses confirmed her version of what happened, police said. Witnesses also told The Miami Herald that Morgan knocked on several other studio doors before finally leaving the building at about 8:30 a.m.
Miramar authorities are seeking to question Morgan and say they have no plans to arrest him. The New York bred comedian was in town to make an appearance at the Improv Comedy Club and Dinner Theatre in Coconut Grove.
Morgan’s drinking troubles have been well documented. He last made headlines in November when he arrested for drunk driving in New York City.
Last month, a Los Angeles judge ordered the comedian to wear an electronic ankle bracelet after he plead guilty to the drunken driving charge. The New York DUI was a violation of Morgan’s probation in a prior DUI conviction in Los Angeles.
Morgan was scheduled to be fitted May 25 for the bracelet, which is supposed to test every 30 minutes for alcohol vapors emitted from the skin. If he tests positive twice for alcohol, he will be sent to jail for 30 days.
Morgan first gained recognition as a regular guest on Martin Lawrence’s hit sitcom “Martin” before landing a slot as a “Saturday Night Live” cast member in 1996. He later starred in his own short-lived sitcom “The Tracy Morgan Show” and now on NBC’s “SNL”-themed sitcom “30 Rock.”

With the release of his latest studio album Curtis just around the corner, 50 Cent has seemingly run into a road block as his new video has reportedly been rejected by MTV.
According to radio personality Miss Info’s blog, the clip for 50’s single “Amusement Park,” which was scheduled to premiere on MTV on May 16, has been rejected by the network. As a result the G-Unit boss is considering replacing the video with one for the song “Straight To The Bank.”
As of press time, no official reason has been stated for the network’s displeasure with the video, yet there is some speculation that the song’s sexually charged lyrics may have something to do with the network pulling the plug on the video.
This is not the first bit of controversy concerning the record. The song’s instrumental was apparently also used for a Jim Jones freestyle that was featured previously on a DJ Drama mixtape.
