Jimmy finally speaks on the long rumored beef between him and Cam.
From Miss Info’s blog:
“Me and Cam’ron havent spoken to each other in a year…. I kept quiet out of loyalty, I felt like if we cant be friends then at least we can do business together….But now I can’t be next to you….I’m threw wit being in hot water because of you….We still the Diplomats. I was tellin’ mofos since LAST YEAR that somethin’ just didn’t seem right. I noticed Cam not appearing in a LOT of the Dips songs, interviews, etc. And when that Rucker shit leaked, I knew it was only gonna go downhill from there. They stay havin’ internal problems, because Sheist Bub and ‘em (Purple City) don’t really affiliate with Jim and the Dips either.

^If you pay close attention, listen to Jim’s tone of voice and demeanor when he calls up Hot97 to speak to Angie. When Jim had/has beef with Jay, he’s in a uproar and quick to say a whole bunch of negative ish, name-callin’, etc. But after Cam got off the phone and Jim called up, he had this type of “here we go again, I always cover for this nigga” type of attitude. He didn’t say anything negative about 50 and basically said that he was just tryin’ to diffuse the situation. And 50 could’ve easily went at Jim in his song, but he didn’t. Instead, he gave him props and called Jim the boss. It’s the lil’ subtle shit that was goin’ down that I picked up on.

^I agree, but to be unbiased, Cam has taken the leadership role for the Dips and seems to convey more maturity (go ‘head and laugh) than Cam. I’m not a fan of Jim’s music, but his conscious is definitely prevalent in that new song “Emotionless”, as opposed to Cam’s “rooty tooty fresh n fruity Louie Louie” rhymes. And to imply any Chris Rios, he definitely seems more “diplomatic” when handlin’ situations. Except for when it comes to Jay, who he has a picture of attached to a dart board in his house.

Purple Haze was a unique album and highly entertaining but since then Cam hasn’t even tried. I was tempted to buy Killa Season only because of the DVD Movie the CD was garbage.

Would I recommend such a device for a noisy child? Not necessarily, though apparently our mother of the week Jessica Botzko thought it was a good idea. Her and her husband John Westover are being charged with child endangerment for locking their 10 year-old son in a cage and making him wear a shock collar.

A couple of good right hands from De la Hoya and Mayweather is shaking his right hand - he’s had problems with his hands in the past. Still Mayweather’s single shots having little affect. De la Hoya pins Mayweather on the ropes and gives him a flurry of left hands to the ribs - Mayweather getting bullied. De la Hoya blocking most of Mayweather’s punches and the champion is bossing this at the moment - Mayweather not really in it.

Mayweather struggling to penetrate the high guard of De la Hoya, but he does get through with a right-hand counter and De la Hoya’s knees sag slightly. De la Hoya comes back with two clubbing right hands before Mayweather connects with another picture-perfect right - best round so far, Mayweather steals it.

Short uppercut through the guard from Mayweather. De La Hoya flurries against the ropes, but everything bounces off Floyd’s arms and gloves. Double left hook from Floyd. Sweeping right hand just misses from Floyd. De La Hoya lands a short right inside and Mayweather immediately retaliates. Brief exchange at the bell, but Mayweather’s are the sharper, more accurate, heavier punches. Right now, Mayweather is timing De La Hoya beautifully with a straight left followed by an overhand right and Oscar doesn’t appear to have an answer.
Good hand speed from De la Hoya, digging a flurry of body shots into Mayweather’s ribs. Mayweather misses with three swingeing right hands before De la Hoya lands with a good overhand right. Mayweather landed with some good shots from range and I have that as even.

Oscar tries some big punches with Floyd’s back against the ropes, but Floyd twists and turns and nullifies most of them. Stiff jabs from De La Hoya. A pair of overhand rights land to the temple from Mayweather. Left upstairs and right to the body from Floyd. De La Hoya flurries again with Mayweather’s back to the ropes. Mayweather was much less busy in that round, but still probably landed the more effective punches.
De la Hoya steps it up again, trapping Mayweather in the corner with a solid combination, but Mayweather is landing with the crisper punches. However, De la Hoya finishes with an eye-catching rally, and that may have nicked the round.

De la Hoya showing good hand speed again and landing with a few head shots. Mayweather lands with a couple of hurtful right hands. Chants of “Oscar, Oscar” ring around the MGM Grand, and De la Hoya finishes the round stronger again and that’s his round. Mayweather simply not doing enough in my book, I’ve got him a few rounds behind.

Mayweather really has to start taking some risks here and he lands with some clean pot-shots from range. De la Hoya swarms all over Mayweather in the corner and Floyd emerges from the exchange with a beaming smile. He’s kidding no-one, he’s in trouble as far as I’m concerned.

Mayweather trying to fight small, going into a crouch and looking for a way inside. Left hand from Mayweather misses but a straight right hand at the bell lands right on the chin.
Down the stretch now and De la Hoya lands with a solid left hook and decent right. De la Hoya still ploughing forward, guard catching most that Mayweather is throwing at him. Mayweather took that round on work-rate, and lands with a crisp right hand on the bell. In my book, Mayweather needs the last two to force a draw.

Mayweather lands another overhand right and follows with a stiff left. Good right hand from De La Hoya, but a better one in return from Mayweather. Again, Mayweather lands with the short lead right hand. Big right from Oscar near the end of the round. Oscar is trying to make a fight of it.

Mayweather teeing off on De la Hoya, and Oscar barely threw a punch… until right at the death, rocking Mayweather’s head back with a swingeing right hand. A very technical, but very skilled and very good, fight.

ot-shotting from Floyd and De la Hoya is plodding. However, he does rally, putting together a seven or eight punch combination. Both fighters go berserk in the final 10 seconds before the bell sounds and both fighters hug. Mayweather’s round, which makes it a draw in my opinion.
