much respect to kris but im not feeling this whole revisionist hip-hop philosophy thats been around for the last few years. they make it seem like hip-hop used to be all about unity, wisdom and knowledge. no it didn’t. hip-hop has always had different aspects and it DID start out as party music. so what we need to embrace is the concept of diversity which includes everything from cannibal ox to common to kool g rap to dipset. if they only played conscious rap on the radio and in the club, i would hate it as much as i hate only hearing that mindless party crunk snap shit. word up.

Yes there are different types of hip hop, but my problem with it today is that no effort is put into the music. Good concepts, skills, and creativity seem to be a thing of the past. At least years ago the people putting out party music, gangsta rap or whatever actually had talent.

^Malarky. Pras was doin’ a documentary in L.A. on homelessness and decided to actually “be” homeless to add to the authenticity. They talked about it on AHH last year but I haven’t heard much about the documentary since then. If it’s still in production or already done, then it should be released some time this year.

^^To some white people generally speaking so called “nappy” hair is just strange to them. True story, I had to stomp this kid out when I was in ninth grade due to a comment about my hair. (strange thing is Im light skinned with slightly straighter hair) I still remember to this day he made a comment about being able to pop a baloon on my hair or any black persons hair for that matter. ^^Well said…but at least other majors (Interscope, Jive, etc.) are still making an honest attempt to push the artists on their roster in spite of the dip in mechanical sales…Jay wouldn’t even give Meth a video. LL got no promo and he has a huge female fanbase…while Hovi Hov was pimpin’ Budweiser’s marketing budget he should have been doing the same for his ARTISTS.

Based on numbers Jay has done a good job at Def Jam. I dont see why people are scrutinizing this man to death of his position. Not one of us question Jimmy Iovine, kevin Liles, or any other jew in the record industry(probably cause they are less seen)But jay has been racking in Loot for Def Jam. Like P-diddy said, this is not homeboy records, we dont cut money right out the shoe box and we dont give hook-ups. This is a business and we will run it like a business should.

^They have millions of dollars. What? That isn’t enough? They could own and control a LOT of shit without the help of anyone if you wanna be real. Jay, Bouncy, and a shit load of others could have their own independent label and do 50/50 joint ventures with plenty of talented artists out there. HE’S the reason why Kanye (one of my favorite artists/producers) got signed. HE’S the reason why street hip hop was moving so many units without having to sacrifice integrity. HE’S the one who wouldn’t take shit from these white execs and DEMANDED the funds and backing for the label. HE’S the reason why Joe Budden was unofficially signed to the ROC, yet most people don’t even know that. Jay needed him just as much as he need Jay. He didn’t learn those business techniques over night. He just decided to implement them with the suit-wearin’ muhfuckas instead of empowering the ones who have had his back over the years. And the type of product they produce now is lackluster because Jay don’t give two shits about it. Come on man, you gotta see things for what they are. We all know they got self-determination. Pig meat contains excessive quantities of histamine and imidazole compounds, which can lead to itching and inflammation; growth hormone, which promotes inflammation and growth; sulphur-containing mesenchymal mucus, which leads to swelling and deposits of mucus in tendons and cartilage, resulting in arthritis, rheumatism, etc.
Sulfur helps cause firm human tendons and ligaments to be replaced by the pig’s soft mesenchymal tissues, and degeneration of human cartilage. Eating pork can also lead to gallstones and obesity, probably due to its high cholesterol and saturated fat content. The pig is the main carrier of the taenia solium worm, which is found it its flesh. These tapeworms are found in human intestines with greater frequency in nations where pigs are eaten. This type of tapeworm can pass through the intestines and affect many other organs, and is incurable once it reaches beyond a certain stage. One in six people in the US and Canada has trichinosis from eating trichina worms which are found in pork. Many people have no symptoms to warn them of this, and when they do, they resemble symptoms of many other illnesses. These worms are not noticed during meat inspections, nor are they killed by salting or smoking. Few people cook the meat long enough to kill the trichinae. The rat (another scavenger) also harbors this disease. There are dozens of other worms, germs, diseases and bacteria which are commonly found in pigs, many of which are specific to the pig, or found in greater frequency in pigs.
Pigs are biologically similar to humans, and their meat is said to taste similar to human flesh. Pigs have been used for dissection in biology labs due to the similarity between their organs and human organs. People with insulin-dependent diabetes usually inject themselves with pig insulin.

just dissected a pig yseterday, they are the most digusting things ever. ive never touched it in my whole life.
