^I disagree. They were TOO sample-heavy and they didn’t know how to insert them in the songs. Goin’ in the booth and just speedin’ up samples does not make a good producer. After a while, all their beats became redundant and recognizable. You have to have a theme with your track. A REAL producer can already tell you what kind of feel/direction he wants for a track before he even picks his drums. They were just beatmakers. Don’t get me wrong, they had their shining moments between 2001 - 2004, but those days are long gone.

^Co-sign, between micheal & namond they had to go threw the hardest transition of any of the kids that was on that season. I like namond’s role because you had to be dripping with charisma to play that role (nhjic) & make it belive-able, but they both did there thang.
