Salute….Eskay…that Sharpton, Strom Thurmond article is good reading…sad…I wonder if Rev Al ever thought about changing his last name…to think the people of South Carolina continued to vote him into office and they knew he was pro segregation among other things…”give the black man crack, guns and things” see Lupe. Bastards. Kept reading…of course…just as smug as their relatives. one.
Man i hear theres a new Hov and Timbo track that leaked, the snippet was posted a while back. But I’m sure one of u niggaz got that shit or know where to download it at.
lol, Whats good England, whats going over on yall side b. U still in Australia or u back in england.
I know u heard that “throw some d’s on it” that shit has been catching on like an infection with these lil kids (new generation of hip hop listeners, smh).
Dude from the south though, dont know exactly where though. Probably the atl or something.
Nah I’m Down Under still Stacker, was back in the LDN for a minute over the holidays but am back in sunny Australia.
Oh shit I thought that little dude was from the West Coast? Shiiiiiiiiiit, I’m mad late as usual!!!
Speakin on the new generation of rappers and listeners, you gotta feel sorry for the new generation of listeners cos whereas we were growin up with Wu-Tang, Biggie, Pac, Nas, Hov, Snoop, Dre etc these dudes is growin up listenin to Young Joc, Paul Wall, Mike Jones, Mimms, Juelz Bandana etc…
….UH! i knew Hov was gonna sign this nigga @ any cost… Quiet as Kept, He (Jay) wanted 50 before he went to Shady & Dame Wanted Cam, and Dame let that 50 deal go thru the cracks. No was was Jay gonna let this nigga go to Aftermath/Shady…
…So Es, when u gonna Post that New Uncle Murda Dis Record goin @ Jimmy?
Damn Jay-Z is really the biggest bitch in the industry. He would sign a nigga that disrespected him, just because Jay needs street cred and niggas that will do that dirt to get at the set (dips)
I thought P.Diddy was the bitch of 06-07 with his proactive commercials, but its easily Jay-Z.
Jay-Z signed Tru Life, a street dude that be jooksing niggas….so that Tru Life could battle the Dips..
Jay-Z signs Uncle Murda, probably the most street dude and gutta nigga since KING TUT..
And If you don’t know who King TUT is, well its okay..cuz only Brooklyn STREET Niggas know..nah’mean?
You aint from the Streets or the Streets of Brooklyn if you repping Prospect Heights or Bensonhurst..
I aint gonna continue cuz we know thats the nice area..

^Post the link now……Murda verses Capo…this should be good…two Immovable Objects…somethings gotta give..
Don’t really understand the hype about this Murda nigga, yeah he’s street and all that but can the nigga spit? He’s average man, I could’nt give a fuck about his street cred if he can’t spit wicked………..
I understand you sayin street cred and swagger and bein a ‘real nigga’ is important as far as the majority of hip-hop consumers these days (under 20’s and white peoples) are concerned.
But fuck that son, niggas who are real hip-hop listeners and are serious about this culture don’t give them typa niggas no play (n/h)
Uncle Murda can make ya laugh at his connery but as far as bein a credible emcee? Nah chief………

thats somethin how he did that song JUST for Hot97… im sure the other stations aint fuckin with it… and Clue beat out Flex in that Time Slot…
I am not white, and I’m 24. Yet I’m more interested if the Artist I listen to has the “IT” factor. What is the “IT” factor, it means if he is a star or not. I mean if he isn’t a star, than he will bore me.
A Rapper with Street Cred makes his flow, spits, written shit more believeable
Oh btw…
I listen to
Lil Wayne, Juelz Santana, Jim Jones, Cam’ron, Young Jeezy, The Game
A Rapper with Street Cred makes his flow, spits, written shit more believeable
Ayo man you can’t write that and then say you listen to Jim Jones as a way of backin up your statement, well you can but I’m sayin….. I’m sure Jimmy did his dirt but he writes horrible, he spits horrible and because of that I don’t believe him, he definitely needs more people.
Biggie used to spit that ‘crack rap’ better than any nigga doin it now. period. But that dude did’nt move as much weight as he said he did but it don’t matter cos his rhymes were so graphic you could picture them.
Basically to me, if you ain’t spittin like a muh-fucka I could’nt give two fucks about what you’re police record is, what you done in the hood etc.
You must be an anomoly hoodtalk cos there ain’t no nigga in the LDN over 20 listenin to them niggas you listed apart from Game……its also personal opinion but I’m sayin……..
Biggie used to spit that ‘crack rap’ better than any nigga doin it now. period. But that dude did’nt move as much weight as he
^ Come on now E…! Biggie did his shit in the hood.. for real… moving shit and tearing shit up & everything… He ain’t like these young rap punks nowadays all phony … Him and his crew (JM) did there shit..
Yeah 2 Times, Biggie used to move weight but not as much as he said he did in his rhymes for real. You need to cop that ‘Unbelievable’ book on Biggie by Cheo Hodari Coker or some shit, it details Big’s life via testaments and statements from all of Junior MAFIA, yeah Big moved weight but he did’nt move as much as he rapped about and he certainly did’nt murk niggas like he rapped about. No doubt he was involved with some real niggas, Jacques Agnant and Junior MAFIA etc but I’m just sayin that his street history don’t matter cos he flowed SICK!! I’m just tryin to tell the nigga hoodtalk that your street credentials don’t mean shit when it comes to pickin up a mic, d’you know what I mean?
Cassidy = he killed someone and got away with it..(not glorifying shit)..
^^ Nah…. He got rolled up on and had to defend himself, so that’s why he got a body… That’s happens everyday people all day…. He didn’t have no street-cred like Wolf or etc…
Cassidy never had no street-cred.. he’s a rapper… He didn’t grow up tearing shit up beating peoples ass, or getting in broad-day light shoot-outs…
What up what up G? You see Spurs dominate Bolton? Yid Army!
Yeah Two Times you need to cop ‘Unbelievable’, its a biography on Biggie, its his whole life story, its a must cop for any Biggie stan, breaks everything down……
The only dudes you listed hoodtalk there which are credible in my opinion are SP and Beanie Sigel, maybe Cassidy…….the rest of them, to me, are wack, Mainio??? Negro please………
So if you hear a nigga on a joint and this nigga spittin crack and you feel it (n/h) and it happens that this dude ain’t ever bust his gun or sold weight, you ain’t gonna listen to no more cos he don’t have street cred even though you thought he was crack when you first heard him? To me that prespective is wack, I’m just sayin……..
50 Cent always raps about killing someone but he has never done that.
Yeah Cassidy’s case was self-defense, but to me he’s the realest rapper out because he actually did what he raps about.
Same thing with Max B.
————————————————————————————-

^I’ll bump to it, if the beat is hot and he murking the track. But I won’t be fan, and I’ll categorize him as fake.
Ay hoodtalk, Lupe Fiasco is one of the realest niggas in the game. period. The dude never claims he did any dirt in the hood nor does he rap about it either, thats more real than %99 of the cats in the industry. He ain’t about that kinda business and does’nt glorify it either to me that’s real. It may be different to what bein ‘real’ in the hood is all about but essentially its the same thing, bein true to yourself.
Haven’t we gone through this arguement before? I swear rug realer came up with the same exact “fake rappers rap good”, “real rappers rap bad” theory.
How is Jay Z fake? He elevated himself from the hood, he did his lil work, spent his time hustling in the projects and he got out, he matured and his subject matter did too.
Nas is fake? Well, he did his nickle and diming back in QB like 10 years ago, But nas does’nt tlak any different than Jay Z on the records. They story tellers, no one takes them literally, cause they made it, and at this point doing something to prove you live your rhymes would be stupid.
Fiasco is real in a sense, because he hasn’t claimed to move no work, body no one or none of that shit.

^ Great point…. Nas & Jay can tell a story… unlike they wack-ass 106 and park rappers
Copped that ‘The Commission’ mixtape last week, its got some decent cuts and some decent guest appearances, Kool G Rap is lethal on it, Big Daddy Kane and Big L are class and Nas and Quan hold it down. Biggie and Jay do their thing of course, Big obviously out-shining Jay, other than that though ITS A WASTE OF FUCKIN MONEY
Man, can anyone help me out with a link to the Black album. I lost that shit since i reformatted my hd and limewire been garbage, you cant find shit on there no more. Torrentspy aint got the shit either.
Nah Stacker I ain’t got nothin………The Black Album is over-rated if you ask me. The only joint I really really like on that piece is ‘Threats’, that 9th Wonder beat is ferocious man and Jay spits crack on it.
‘I kill you commit suicide then kill you again’
Question : Who is the nigga doin all the shit talk beforehand ‘They call me Threats nigga, I been makin threats since kindergarten nigga, ask if they ain’t hurrd about me’ - Is it Cedric The Entertainer????
woah… how can you not feel the black album… i don’t think i’ve ever skipped a track on that. maybe change clothes, but that’s just cause i was feeling what i was wearing
Mr Noriega whats good? Yeah Lucifer is hot, the beat and that vocal sample is crazy, forgot about that one……overall though I still think that joint is over-rated.
Cal what the fuck is good bruh? Its been a minute since I’ve seen you on this joint………
‘i don’t think i’ve ever skipped a track on that. maybe change clothes, but that’s just cause i was feeling what i was wearing ‘
Shit’s all good with me Cal, back in the land Down Under, back in the Summer sun - gotta love it. What you been busy doin thats m ore important than choppin it up on Nahright?!!! (bit of sarcasm in there)
nation, I’m all over that G talk. Is it just for G’s or can regular dudes use it? Do you have to be able to talk in G? Are there pre-requisites that you have to have acheived before you can be a G and talk? ie do you have to have moved weight, killed someone, produced a hood DVD??? All valid questions, all need answering.
I don’t homie I thought Watcher 2 on Blueprint 2 was ill
^^Yup yup. Although Rakim fuckin nailed it on that joint, he completely murked Hov on his own joint and Dre too.
I’m “Rated R,” my brain contains graphics thangs
It turn traumatic teens into addicts, and fiends
It’s like, watchin a movie through a panoramic screen
Which means, I can see the whole planet in the scene

‘Dre messed up by not letting Rakim drop an album on Aftermath’
Real fuckin talk, I did’nt hear Ra spit too much when he was at Aftermath, he did that joint with Truth Hurts with the Indian sample and was ridic on that joint too. Rakim is a legend.
Aight Cal, understood chief, NahRizzle does’nt really get a look in when life is whoopin your ass, all the same hope it was’nt anything too severe for ya….whats been good with those mixtapes nigga, you got anything worth listening to?!!!
Forest Whitaker earned the best-actor Academy Award on Sunday for “The Last King of Scotland,” in which the soft-spoken actor played an uncharacteristically flamboyant role as Ugandan dictator Idi Amin.
>> Forest killed it in The Last King of Scotland, like Don Cheedle killed it Rwanda
i was thinking the same shit

Ne-Yo made my boy B-Hop look bad, I think he let Just pick Hagler who is too strong for B-Hop, even if your a master at XboxR3, the weight class and power is too much of a diffrence, but I still would have beat Just ass (No Weezy) in XBoxR3 for a beat. First round knock out!
^Some cat from Memphis who I’ve been hearin’ about for the last 2 years. Never cared to listen to his music. However, Joe88 would be estatic about this.
^Is this true? Yo Gotti signed wit the roc????? If so that would be jay 3rd signing in a year, & his best so far. I been telling niggas yo gotti was the truth, now i bet ya’ll would give him a chance since he’s signed to a UP NORTH label smh.
not so much that. But he had to get wheeled out. That BS. Nuthin was wrong wit his legs. Ole crybaby azz nugga

I see what you’re saying. But when you dislocate your shoulder, that boy can pop out again by simply walking. Cut him some slack, he takes MAD punishment day in and day out. You don’t see many that take it to the rack with the recklessness that he does every game.
What up Billz. After seeing the Honorable Louis Farakkhan speak yesterday, I have a whole new respect for the Muslim faith. They embrace much of the Christian faith, but Christians act like Islam is just completely wrong and not true. If we’re supposed to be about loving and embracing one another, Muslims seem like they stand for that more than Christians.
>> Yeah, that was was from that “Black Trump†jumpoff with, my bad, Cocoa Bruvaz
^ yeah. speakin of Raekwon, i dont know if anybody else caught the VH1 documentary yesterday where Rae, Paul Wall, and Tego Calderon went to Africa to see how the diamond trade really goes down. that shit was mad interesting tho.

^Exactamundo. Fortunately my father used to attend many Farrakhan speeches (back when Louis frequented Baltimore in the early 90’s) and gave me Final Calls to read so I kinda had a general understanding of what type of people Muslims were. As I got older, I realized Sunni and NOI are two different denominations, but the religion itself upholds a lot more values than Christianity in the Black community (IMO, that is).

Chopper needs to do anything to stay relevant at this point.
^lol. I don’t really care about this “so called” beef at all, i’m shocked that chopper got the nerve to dis a nigga that his whole style is based around. I heard ol boy use to live up here a year or two before the making the band thing. I never thought i’d be so happy that a artist that lived here at one point of time didn’t give us a shout out lol.
Aint nothin up. Chopper could always just make good music to stay relevant. We should start calling folk out on publicity stunts in 07′.
^Co-signs. The next rapper that pulls a BS publicity stunt should get put in the figure four leg lock by Ric flair while wearing a pink fubu valure hoodie. Who else is wit me? lol
The only thing that had me trippin was the fact that Farahkeezee is talkin exactly what Malcolm X was talkin before he got done in by faaaaaaarrrrr…. nevermind.I’m not gonna take yall there this morning
I heard ol boy use to live up here a year or two before the making the band thing.
^Gettin’ my 6 Degrees of Seperation on… my youngan’s mother (r.i.p.) used to babysit that retard in Cherry Hill. And my homie from Jerz said he was messin’ wit’ some chick… was chillin’ at her crib and what not… and this mofo came through… all in l-o-v-e and what not.

Kenyon? Wallace? Barkley? Yall musta forgot (c) The (Get) Knock-Out King
^Shawn kemp is the fucking man, he got one of the top 5 in game dunks of all time, when he dunked on liston then pointed at him while he was on the ground. I’m surprised he didn’t win a dunk contest, he always got beat out by some type of gimmick dunk, either it was cellbalos running full court blindfolded smh, dee brown covering his eyes or baby jordan renacting the 88 dunk contest. He still the man tho
YEAH MAN I HAD EVERYONE TELLING ME WE WERE GONNA GET LIKE 7 INCHES AND SHIT I’M LIKE MY CAR DAMN SURE CAN’T GET NOWHERE IN THE SNOW I’M GOOD SO I TREAT IT LIKE A WEEKEND WAKE UP AND SEE A SLIGHT DUSTING ON THE GROUND LIKE WHAT THE FUCK ?
Going back to street cred…
Does the Clipse have any of that shit, or did the critics just swallow it up because of the issues surrounding the record label?
Personally, I didn’t believe any of the shit they said.
And their beats iz wack, damn son, I’m bout to kick Skateboard P in the nuts.

^Drugs, excessive weight gain, and child support did him in. I remember the numerous alley-oops Payton used to give him on fast breaks. I can’t think of a time when Seattle wasn’t in the Playoffs when Kemp was in his prime. Larry Johnson aka Grandma-ma also ruled that era.

they was draggin him holdin on to muhfuggas legs and ish. hilarious
Kobe Bryant took the most L’s in sports history. Every fight he lost was on T.V.
^lol. My homie is a big kobe fan so everytime he talk about how good kobe is I just bring up the 2 piece chris childs gave kobe. The look on kobe face after childs hits him is priceless. He can shoot the ball well, but he damn sure can’t shoot the 5 lol
^^^Dont know about that one. I may be wrong but i think i saw a video of Dr.J snuffing larry bird while he was in a choke hole
^Your eyes aren’t playing tricks on you (no bushwick) Dr.J & bird went at it. Reggie miller (1 off my fav players) got into alot of fights also, Jordan whipped his ass tho, he had one hand pushing his face back & the other hand swinging at miller. That was a sad day in indiana
Ron artest, stephen jackson & O’neal gets the gully award for the brawl in the garden, they was whipping everybody’s ass that came close to em. O’neal threw a punch so hard at one of the fans they both fell. lol. Kids was crying, people was running aw that was some classic shit right there
O’neal threw a punch so hard at one of the fans they both fell. lol.
^If Jermaine woulda landed that punch, he woulda ended up in jail. He was runnin’ at top speed and that was meannnnn overhand jab. That fan woulda been out COLD.
Shaq and Barkley goin’ at it was kinda funny too.
^lol. If my memory serves me correctly, barkley started it off by hitting shaq in the back of the head with the basketball, then shaq threw a punch that was inches from knocking barkley’s head completly off, then they started wrestling. If shaq would of connected with that punch barkley would still be in the hospital till this day
^If Jermaine woulda landed that punch, he woulda ended up in jail. He was runnin’ at top speed and that was meannnnn overhand jab. That fan woulda been out COLD.
^LMAO. I think he slipped or something like that, like you said if he would of connected with that punch he would be getting paroled in 2040. lol, His hands alone has to be the size of that guys whole face
If shaq would of connected with that punch barkley would still be in the hospital till this day
^I don’t think Shaq wanted to hurt him. He know that he could easily King Kong anybody in the league which is why he is reluctant to fight. Plus I think he has/had a lot of respect for the Chuckster.

Thank fuck I was born in 1980!!!

….UH! i knew Hov was gonna sign this nigga @ any cost… Quiet as Kept, He (Jay) wanted 50 before he went to Shady & Dame Wanted Cam, and Dame let that 50 deal go thru the cracks. No was was Jay gonna let this nigga go to Aftermath/Shady…
…So Es, when u gonna Post that New Uncle Murda Dis Record goin @ Jimmy?
February 25th, 2007 at 8:07 pm
Didn’t Uncle Murder son and diss Jay-Z?

Street Cred and Swagger are the most important things in an artists nowadays.
People don’t care about lyricism.
Matter of fact lyricism isn’t a necessity or requirement for a Rap artist today, its just have an image
Image = gangstaness, style, moneitary stability, whip game, attractiveness (for the ladies)
Uncle Murda isn’t a pusha, a brick mover, a crack peddlar….He is a Killa…Uncle Murda caught bodies for a living….
February 25th, 2007 at 8:48 pm
I think Uncle Murda is signed to Violator, as far as managenment goes…
February 25th, 2007 at 8:49 pm
I tell you what though, Uncle Murda better make song club songs or something to that degree or esle he’ll probably flop too..
February 25th, 2007 at 8:51 pm
I understand you sayin street cred and swagger and bein a ‘real nigga’ is important as far as the majority of hip-hop consumers these days (under 20’s and white peoples) are concerned.
But fuck that son, niggas who are real hip-hop listeners and are serious about this culture don’t give them typa niggas no play (n/h)
Uncle Murda can make ya laugh at his connery but as far as bein a credible emcee? Nah chief………

Oh btw…
I listen to
Lil Wayne, Juelz Santana, Jim Jones, Cam’ron, Young Jeezy, The Game
nobody else gets play…
Nas and Jay-Z = old magicians

I listen to
Lil Wayne, Juelz Santana, Jim Jones, Cam’ron, Young Jeezy, The Game
^
Lil Wayne = No Street cred… (He wasn’t in the stree cause Baby signed him at 11…)
Juelz = No Street cred… I don’t think I need to elaborate on this one..
Jim Jones = No Street Cred… All his tough guy shit is part of an image
Camron = No Street Cred…. C’mon now, we’ve all seen how he’s built
Game = No street cred… He’s been exposed by every real gangbanger on the West Coast and mostly importantly his brother..
Dudes with real street cred = Wolf, D-Roc, C-Gutta, etc…
February 25th, 2007 at 9:06 pm
February 25th, 2007 at 9:09 pm
Eng
Biggie used to spit that ‘crack rap’ better than any nigga doin it now. period. But that dude did’nt move as much weight as he
^ Come on now E…! Biggie did his shit in the hood.. for real… moving shit and tearing shit up & everything… He ain’t like these young rap punks nowadays all phony … Him and his crew (JM) did there shit..
February 25th, 2007 at 9:15 pm

^co-sign. smh at anybody who takes uncle murda seriously. And whoever signs this guy or thinks about signing him lost.
February 25th, 2007 at 9:18 pm
February 25th, 2007 at 9:19 pm
If you want to know the rappers that have street cred that I listen to..
then its gotta be
Maino, Uncle Murder, Cassidy, Max B, Styles P, Beanie Sigel..
Cassidy = he killed someone and got away with it..(not glorifying shit)..
February 25th, 2007 at 9:22 pm
Eng
Word, yeah I feel you…Hey does that book really got stuff from all the Junior Mafia dudes on there?… I should get that…
February 25th, 2007 at 9:26 pm
Cassidy = he killed someone and got away with it..(not glorifying shit)..
^^ Nah…. He got rolled up on and had to defend himself, so that’s why he got a body… That’s happens everyday people all day…. He didn’t have no street-cred like Wolf or etc…
Cassidy never had no street-cred.. he’s a rapper… He didn’t grow up tearing shit up beating peoples ass, or getting in broad-day light shoot-outs…
February 25th, 2007 at 9:28 pm
Dudes with real street cred = Wolf, D-Roc, C-Gutta, etc…
February 25th, 2007 at 9:34 pm
February 25th, 2007 at 9:49 pm
50 Cent always raps about killing someone but he has never done that.
Yeah Cassidy’s case was self-defense, but to me he’s the realest rapper out because he actually did what he raps about.
Same thing with Max B.
————————————————————————————-

^I’ll bump to it, if the beat is hot and he murking the track. But I won’t be fan, and I’ll categorize him as fake.
Fake Rappers that rap good..:
Jay-Z, Nas, Fabolous, Chamillionaire, Lupe Fiasco, 50 cent
February 25th, 2007 at 9:55 pm
Ay hoodtalk, Lupe Fiasco is one of the realest niggas in the game. period. The dude never claims he did any dirt in the hood nor does he rap about it either, thats more real than %99 of the cats in the industry. He ain’t about that kinda business and does’nt glorify it either to me that’s real. It may be different to what bein ‘real’ in the hood is all about but essentially its the same thing, bein true to yourself.
February 25th, 2007 at 9:59 pm

Fake Rappers that rap good..:
Jay-Z, Nas, Fabolous, Chamillionaire, Lupe Fiasco, 50 cent
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
February 25th, 2007 at 10:07 pm
Hoodtalk the obvious reason that good rappers are fake and real niggas never made in the rap game or can’t rap is cause they got locked up or bodied.
February 25th, 2007 at 10:09 pm

What up Billz. After seeing the Honorable Louis Farakkhan speak yesterday, I have a whole new respect for the Muslim faith. They embrace much of the Christian faith, but Christians act like Islam is just completely wrong and not true. If we’re supposed to be about loving and embracing one another, Muslims seem like they stand for that more than Christians.
