^Say word… hip hop done changed and the mofos in my age bracket have changed along with it, even for the worse. I don’t care about a rapper’s personal life, but when you got somebody talkin’ gangsta every other record with NOTHING substantial to say then that’s a issue for me. He gets to kiss guys and still be “that dude”? Wow.

Lets put it like this, to use Grafh’s analogy he made one day on a record:
For the sake of arguement, we’re gonna use Saigon. If Wayne started spittin’ Saigon’s street-conscience lyrics he would be dubbed the greatest ever. But if Saigon started reciting Wayne’s lyrics then you’d think this dude was wack. So, that being the case, what is it that people see in Wayne? Please don’t say cadence/swagger because he obviously “borrowed” that from the one he wants to be. The only thing that makes him stand out is his accent. When people from the South possess HALF the “swag” (I’m so sick of that word) and lyrical potential in their rhymes that a East rapper has, then the world goes nuts. But let it be vice versa and the East rapper would be ridiculed.

So are yall tellin’ me that a bunch of grown ass men is fond of another man’s accent? Once again, let me reiterate my points:

-he lacks substance
-borrowed style/cadence
-had a ghostwriter (come on, aint no way in hell you think he became THAT nice in a 3 year span)
-kiss men (not relevant because MJ will always be a legend, but it DOES says much about his character)

Like I said, what’s the hype about? Grafh got more lyrics and cadence on the mic and has switched up his flow plenty of times. But because being a NYCMC is “played out” to the masses then he doesn’t get embraced unless he goes for the more “friendly joints” (Myspace Jumpoff).
