pretty dope for ballerina.

P surprised me a little with this one. The only thing the “Kanye West Sped Up Samples” are 2003, Alchemist was in a radio friendly state of mind. Still, a tip toe in the right direction for Ballerina P.

“BALLERINA P”…he ain’t NEVER gonna live that down, no matter how hard he tries! He’d better hope that ALC never leaves him, because he’s the only one keeping Mobb Deep afloat. Without him, you’ll end up with another album like BLOOD MONEY.

U can tell when somebody don’t know shit about hip-hop when they think Kanye West started the speeded up sample shit. Anyway, this joint i hot. P gonna bring it back for the Unit. And, this song iz actually ah few years old, but it’s new to the masses.
February 17th, 2007 at 11:04 pm

The best formula is prodigy spittin and ALC or Hav on the beats. That would be the ultimate street album. No one wants to hear hav spit……..i always fast forward his verses

This song is around 2 years old. It was on DJ Clue’s, “He’s a Hustler, Part 1″ mixtape from… around 2 years ago. As soon as I saw the title, I had to listen to the song in the video to see if they were the same thing.
Been awhile since I’ve commented on NR. Also, there is no such thing as a “Kanye West sped up sample.” Back in ‘93, the RZA was pitching up samples, just listen to the Wu-Tang Clan’s “Tearz.” Kanye even said the RZA influenced him.

“Back in ‘93, the RZA was pitching up samples, just listen to the Wu-Tang Clan’s “Tearz.†Kanye even said the RZA influenced him.”
Nah, that sample was Wendy Rene’s “After Laughter,” and it was untouched.
But, I’m pretty sure RZA did invent that whole chipmunk soul thing in ‘95 on GZA’s “Shadowboxin.”
No matter who created it, I think everyone agrees that it got played the fuck out between ‘01 and ‘07.

Oh Shit….Is that real East Coast Hip Hop I hear??? This is a breath of fresh air to me. I am so tired of the shit I hear and see on the radio and TV. Shouts to the Alchemist HNIC 2 might just be worthy of grabbin up. Make good musik nigs.
February 21st, 2007 at 4:34 am
stupid lil’ young niggas!…….Mobb Deep is a pillar of east cost hiphop! stop jumping on the wagon an show some respect; he dont deserve that ballerina shit just cause he was defending New York! Do the Knowledge!
