They allow investors to buy your property regardless of your situation. But on the other hand, I’m also disappointed at many of the hustlers who made shit loads of money from the “game” and didn’t bother to invest in any of the properties in the surrounding areas. We coulda had Black Wall Street (the real one, not the label) all over again. But, it’s not like they would let us do that shit again either. Probably the same results as the last one…

    George Lopez’ Comedy Central joint was funny. But that’s the only Mexican comedian that I’ve ever laughed at. Dane Cook is better than 90% of what’s poppin’ right now, hands down. And Louis CK is somewhere in my top 10. I think his show got cancelled but it’s definitely worth coppin’ on dvd. I watched the Big Black Comedy show last week and that shit was horrrrrrrrrible. In order to bring a specific group of people to a higher status, the one’s that are ahead of the rest need to constantly pay it forward. and not with money, but with knowledge. Most kids i grew up with became nothing because they were taught to expect nothing, myself included. But put yourself in a suburban white neighborhood and its a completely different scenario. They are bred to think the world is their oyster. I’m not tryin to tell anyone what their race/belief system/etc. should do, but you have to educate your own to be succesful if you want them to do so. just my two cents.

    i might have been to 2 or 3 comedy shows in my life. most recent one was comedy cellar maybe 2 or 3 years ago. chappelle came through while he was still on hiatus. none of us could believe it. killed the first 5 minutes. then went on to talk for over an hour. high as all hell. ended the set with “alright, nothin left to talk about. thanks for comin out”. still one of my favorite moments.

I have a female friend that the only reason we never hooked up is that I’ve know how she was raised, (in a home full of single very bitter women) I’ve seen how she cannot function within a normal male/female relationship, and view such a relationship as a constant power struggle.

    ^Totally agree. I sympathize with dark skin women to the extreme. Sometimes I walk by a darkskin sista in the mall, or where ever, and can almost feel the low self-esteem oozing from her venacular.     19070’s=drugs/racism/femenism/communism
    1980s=terrorism drugs/racism
    1990’s=crime/poverty/terrorism
    2000’s=9/11
    then by the end of each decade black people rise up each time until they try to take away what weve accomplished each time in the early years of the next decade. its a cycle

    For the fourth week in a row Young Jeezy is still holding on tight to rap’s highest seat on the charts. Posted at No. 32, The Inspiration hustles 27,800 units this week, bringing the albums total sales to 830,150, according to Nielsen’s SoundScan.

    Nas sinks three levels to No. 53 with his Def Jam debut, Hip Hop Is Dead, shifting 17,550 copies this week. The total for the album reads off at 616,000.

    Birdman and Lil’ Wayne keep trucking despite falling two seats to No. 54. Like Father, Like Son has moved 604,000 CDs thus far, with 16,900 representing the week-in total.
