It’s a movie…….no paralells…no nothing……the producers and creators are playing on the sect or part of society that wants to believe there’s more to it…it being the game of life……for crying out loud it has Fire Marshall Bill in it….smh…..w/e w/e w/e….although when I saw the commercial I knew I was going to see it right along with Norbit…..smh.

Ponder this for a second: why do you think, in a movie that has the potential to raise much debate (a la Passion of the Christ, Davinci Code… both movies that had main characters who usually play “serious†roles), chose a actor like Jim Carrey to play the lead? Especially when knowin’ that his previous movies where he played a “serious†role weren’t taken, well, serious?
Well that’s easy….I’ll call it the blockbuster effect….you get guys or gals for that matter who can draw in a bigger audience….actors who sometimes no matter the movie can make the movie do 50 to 150 million dollar weekends…..its almost the equivalent to what we have in rap……I refuse to elaborate…you do the science…..Hanks makes 25 mill plus commission for a reason as does Carrey……The Passion guy was in actor terms a nobody *sorta*…..Mel Gibson couldn’t give that role away and he couldn’t get producers to bankroll it…hence…he payed for it himself.
