nation do they get the super bowl in quebec where you live?
January 16th, 2007 at 5:22 pm
nah, scratch has been doing this for a while now — they feature the producer most prominently but then also co-feature an artist that has recently been produced both that producer — in this case game and nas — and that way not just the production heads will cop it but the heads who identify with the emcee as well. who was it on the rza cover with him, raekwon?
January 16th, 2007 at 5:23 pm
what up nation.

@biggumskiller
… the Patriots were VERY lucky to win against the Chargers … i told you Rivers wasnt ready … give him a year or two … Manning wont make the same mistakes, though … not at home … this aint the same Patriots team that has been collecting rings … the defense is vulnerable now … no Ty law … no Willie McGinest … no Ted Johnson … Tedy Bruschi’s not the same as before the stroke … Pats will lose … so it is said, so it shall be …

IS G-UNIT STILL RUNNING SHIT OR ARE THEY REALLY DEAD.2 GOLD ALBUMS AND BANKS SLOWLY HEADING TO GOLD.
Sha Money XL’s Money Management Group and G-Unit Records will present the first annual One Stop Shop producers conference, which will take place Feb. 10-11 in Phoenix, AZ.
The One Stop Shop, which takes place at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Phoenix, is a two-day conference dedicated to producers.
The conference has confirmed a number of heavyweight Hip-Hop producers as panelists, including DJ Premier, Swizz Beatz, The Alchemist, Fred Wreck, Hi-Tek, 9th Wonder, Havoc, Dangerous LLC, Sha Money XL and others.
“The conference is a dream come true,” Sha Money XL told AllHip-Hop.com. “I’ve been to [conferences like] ‘How Can I Be Down’ and ‘Jack the Rapper,’ but never to a conference specialized for us producers. So I pulled out the check book, bought out a hotel, called all my Hip-Hop friends, from top notch producers to all the new ones that always ask me to help, because I knew I would be talking to all the guys who just don’t know how to get themselves out there.”
The event will feature workshops on A&R, publishing, the latest studio equipment, production tips and techniques and other educational panels aimed at pushing aspiring producers careers along.
Hopefuls will also be able to participate in the One Stop Shop Beat Battle for a contract with Money Management and play their production for the entire roster of G-Unit artists, which includes 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks, Young Buck, Tony Yayo and others.
“Producers can ask questions to producers that made it, shop their tracks to A&R’s from every label from G-Unit on down and meet all the top publishers in the game,” Sha Money explained. “This is where if your game is tight and your music is right, you can come out this conference a winner and come up in the game.”
The two-day business and networking event will also feature a Hip-Hop expo with local Phoenix vendors that specialize in tattoos, rims, clothing, custom haircuts and other specialty items.”
The event is sponsored by Vitamin Water, iStandard Producers, XPOZ Magazine, AllHipHop.com, G-Unit Records, G-Unit Clothing and others.
According to Sha Money XL, he chose Phoenix because of the city’s growing technology industry, as well as the areas stable weather.
“People can expect two hours about publishing, production, the art of sound with top engineers, meet every A&R and relax in the warm Arizona climate. I also bought out the whole kitchen and bar so they will be eating good and feeling good. The Hip-Hop game needs this!”

January 16th, 2007 at 6:14 pm
so even if it its not true you still hold on to the hate?
thats like trying to say game is still banging when he never banged.and now these niggas is like “true or false you gotta hate him”which just prove that nowadays even the anti gunit niggas know 50 is not working with police.but you still try to hold on to that shit?is hating gunit a part of niggas personalities now?

^Me and my popz HATE Billick, lol. For real, if I see him in the streets… nothin’ but projectiles (no porn star). Every since he pulled that fag ass move by not puttin’ Cunningham in the game (a fuckin’ legend) and let bum ass Redman throw INT after INT, I lost all respect for him. And to be honest, I haven’t been a Raven’s fan since their inception. Me and my popz was like, “Ravens? purple and black?” I don’t know Bkiller… don’t really fuck wit’ em. I can’t wait until we get another hoop team though. That way we can shit on the Wizards and have our team win yet ANOTHER chip before one of theirs.
January 16th, 2007 at 6:27 pm
that hate line was directed at this bxconnect dude. not you billz.
im cool with you because you liked 50 before and just feel like he needs to go back to that old trackmasters dj pemier style which i also think. the problem i have is with these niggas:
50 uses beef to sell
he stole ja rules style
he works with police.
oh i never liked him/whatever he does i hate that nigga..
he only cares about money/he cant rap etc.

this is my point about the unit, they all wont sell the same becus niggas like who the like.just because you on g-unit dont , mean all g-unit fans gonna buy your shit.
i know you full of shit saying MOP is your favorite group ever, you trying to sound unbiased, you better off saying mobb deep.

January 16th, 2007 at 6:36 pm
K-ROB youtube kenneth supreme click on 50 the snitch and read the police report that states he was shot 3 times.
January 16th, 2007 at 6:37 pm
>>i know you full of shit saying MOP is your favorite group ever,
^The fuck do I got to gain by sayin’ some niggas from BK in their 30’s who never went gold and been makin’ the same type of music since they began rappin’, is my favorite group ever? You lost me with that one homie. I like MOP because of their raw energy and their ol’ school style of East Coast gritty. Plus they still do call-and-response on record and you don’t hear that no more. Groups still be doin’ the “you do the 1st verse, so and so do the 2nd, and joe schmo do the 3rd”… which is so bobby basic. These 2 can do a song a together and it sound like 4 or 5 mofos on one song. I been a fan since How About Some Hardcore. I’m a real fan, not these run of the mill ass mofos. So there’s your explanation.
>>you trying to sound unbiased, you better off saying mobb deep.
^Mobb Deep still one of my favorites too. They just lost me with all that extra d-rydin’ they was doin’ with the tats and shit. Its like they were runnin’ from Littles and 50 was their protection, so it seemed. Prodigy’s 2 new solo joints are certified bangers and Return of the Mac is soundin’ like some Infamous shit.
January 16th, 2007 at 6:37 pm
whats good bills?get back at me K-ROB when you see that.
January 16th, 2007 at 6:38 pm

recite more banks lyrics than 90% of todays unit fans. realtalk
January 16th, 2007 at 6:40 pm
I don’t think MOP was expectin’ to go platinum, honestly. I think they looked at G Unit as a way of gettin’ even MORE of the same shit they been doin’: more tour money, better promotion, more business connects and outlets, etc. When they was on the ROC, they was in movies, had their music in video games, and free clothin’ up the ying yang. Plus they knew that 50 would let them do the type of music that THEY want to do, which we know damn well any other major wasn’t gonna do.

I saw MOP live about a year ago they had Pharoahe Monche and Pitch Black with them PB was wack but Monche killed it even though he didnt do alot of his catalogue just like 30 minutes and MOP massacred the shit with a rock band, Foxx was jumping in the crowd dropping my beer and shit……..one of the best live for real……..Yo what NaS diss are you speaking about…what is the subliminal shot that Common took at him
January 16th, 2007 at 6:47 pm
Come to think of it, back in ‘02 I was one of the few mofos who even know who the Unit was. Then these lil’ Generation Y-Was-I-Born ass niggas started d-rydin’ once he got signed with Shady.

yo biggumd one more time i have no idea if he snitched or not,but i know he is a wack rapper.i ws just giving K-Rob what he asked for.the showed the police report of his shooting.which states he was shot 3 times on the side.
biggums i will be real with you.if i sell drugs and you and your whole family knows i sell drugs fuck it.even if i get locked up fuck it.but if you make a record naming me and my hitman for the world to hear, something about that aint right.like i said i dont know if he snitched on niggas on another level but if a rapper sais hotter then a tea kettle in 2006 he is garbage.

^Damn, and I thought that PB’s the first single, It’s All Real, was the shit. It was basic as hell, but it reminded me of Boot Camp from the 90’s.
The Common song from “BE”, I think it’s called “The Food”, where he say “tell these halftime niggas the break’s over”. And the beat stop right when he say “over” as if he wanted to put the emphasis on that one line. I know the only thing I could think of was “damn, a Nas diss?”

^I copped that from Planet Replay last year for like $4. Them old shits were FIYA! Banks still got the best one out of ‘em all before the deal. Banks had MADD other labels tryin’ to sign him too, but 50 wasn’t havin’ that shit. He rightfully took Fab’s spot as mixtape/punchline king. Those fuckin’ DJ Whoo Kid mixtapes got redundant real fast.

that album is also coming this year hopefully.
buck 50 yayo gunit album mop?thats a year of real hardcore shit and no fuckin emo rap.even when 50 tries to make emo rap it still sounds like street shit. and thats the definition of what gangsta rap was suppose to be. real street shit with true stories.
i guess thats why they called him a snitch. he told the truth to much talking about gangster shit that was really going on instead of making shit up like most rappers

^It depends on how you view BEP’s. I’m gonna be honest, I wasn’t fuckin’ with them from jump. When they first came out, they seemed more “hip hop” then when they were doin’ the breakin’ in the video and just on some underground shit. I couldn’t name any songs until they added Fergie and started smashin’ the world wit’ pop joints. I mean, look at Rick Rubin… a fat white guy who doesn’t have a ounce of hood in him and makin’ dope ass hip hop beats. I wouldn’t even take a free copy of BEP’s music, but I give credit where it’s due and Will.I.Am has been on his dean lately. As for his beats? Well, the Busta joint was IIGHT (extra popish)… come to think of it, I hate that song. He didn’t really do anything with the Nas joint except speed it up. And he jacked De La’s beat for Game’s “Compton”. They were all ok efforts, but that’s about it.

Not only that, he was big uppin’ his own hood because the dance came from a dude named Tone Wop, who invented it. It was a good song for the kids, even better than Chicken Noodle Soup imo. My guess is he’s trying to blend in with the current radio climate….OR he’s really trying his best to swagger jack LL Cool J. But it could both.

January 16th, 2007 at 9:04 pm
Na, im playing, on a serious note I liked almost all of 50’s music prior to the Massacre. The Massacre had a couple nice joints on it too. Banks first album was crack from both a lyrical and beat standpoint. So was the mixtape shit, but damn, why do some of these niggas go all these lengthes to defend their favorite rappers like they cutting them a check every week for doing it. shit is lame.

You know me the OG…I’m really trying to tackle real issues…while still keeping it HIP HOP.
Why build MCDONALDS and BURGER KING near schools? Why?
Why are their always KFCs in the hood? Why?
This needs to stop, the gov’t. is trying to kill us subliminally.
Like Nas said on Poison, White Jesus Poison, Fast Food Poison, Medication Poison
Nas said it…its all poison..
On a another note…NY isn’t dead…we still have..
Nas, Jada, Cam, Banks, Fab…is the only lyricists…true lyricist NY has left…
Cam…S.D.E…..need I say more…
Banks…mixtape beast…
JADA…is top 5 dead or alive..seriously tho..
NAS…G.o.a.t…..Hate it or love it…Albums, Lyrics, and Battle Wins matter….No baby mom plugging, money or record sales, or pop appeal..
Fab…Mixtape Beast, Freestyle Legend…Goes hard with those lyrics.

^ damn, it was Drama and Cannon. i dont understand what they chargin em wit tho… its not illegal to make mixtapes and sell them right? and why Drama, especially since Gangsta Grillz is a series that rappers themselves sign up for and record new joints for, so its not like Drama is stealing their muzik and puttin it on cds to sell without giving the artist royalties. and like you said, i didnt see any retail albums, i saw Dedication 2 and a bunch of GG mixtapes. what the hell are the charges anyways?

there are just so many things that are wrong about that clip… fucking ignorant. the minute the RIAA isn’t getting paid, or wtv a major isn’t getting paid off something, this happens. do you realise that if dj drama doesn’t say something they’re going to destroy 50,000 of his cds. i mean i couldn’t hate this guy anymore, but he’s good at what he does and it’s not illegal if you’re copying you’re own cds, with artists that record for you and want you to put it out and it isn’t an official retail… i’m gonna go read what you guys wrote… eskay i hope this gets a post
