The One Stop Shop, which takes place at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Phoenix, is a two-day conference dedicated to producers.

The conference has confirmed a number of heavyweight Hip-Hop producers as panelists, including DJ Premier, Swizz Beatz, The Alchemist, Fred Wreck, Hi-Tek, 9th Wonder, Havoc, Dangerous LLC, Sha Money XL and others.

“The conference is a dream come true,” Sha Money XL told AllHip-Hop.com. “I’ve been to [conferences like] ‘How Can I Be Down’ and ‘Jack the Rapper,’ but never to a conference specialized for us producers. So I pulled out the check book, bought out a hotel, called all my Hip-Hop friends, from top notch producers to all the new ones that always ask me to help, because I knew I would be talking to all the guys who just don’t know how to get themselves out there.”

The event will feature workshops on A&R, publishing, the latest studio equipment, production tips and techniques and other educational panels aimed at pushing aspiring producers careers along.

Hopefuls will also be able to participate in the One Stop Shop Beat Battle for a contract with Money Management and play their production for the entire roster of G-Unit artists, which includes 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks, Young Buck, Tony Yayo and others.

“Producers can ask questions to producers that made it, shop their tracks to A&R’s from every label from G-Unit on down and meet all the top publishers in the game,” Sha Money explained. “This is where if your game is tight and your music is right, you can come out this conference a winner and come up in the game.”

The two-day business and networking event will also feature a Hip-Hop expo with local Phoenix vendors that specialize in tattoos, rims, clothing, custom haircuts and other specialty items.”

The event is sponsored by Vitamin Water, iStandard Producers, XPOZ Magazine, AllHipHop.com, G-Unit Records, G-Unit Clothing and others.

According to Sha Money XL, he chose Phoenix because of the city’s growing technology industry, as well as the areas stable weather.

“People can expect two hours about publishing, production, the art of sound with top engineers, meet every A&R and relax in the warm Arizona climate. I also bought out the whole kitchen and bar so they will be eating good and feeling good. The Hip-Hop game needs this!”

Na, im playing, on a serious note I liked almost all of 50’s music prior to the Massacre. The Massacre had a couple nice joints on it too. Banks first album was crack from both a lyrical and beat standpoint. BREAKING NEWS: DJ Drama’s Aphilliates Music Group Raided, 50,000 CD’s Confiscated

The downtown Atlanta, GA offices of the Aphilliates Music Group were raided this afternoon (January 16), resulting in the arrests of 28-year-old Tyree “DJ Drama” Simmons and 27-year-old Donald Cannon, also known as DJ Don Cannon.
The Fulton County Swat Team, with assistance from Clayton County Police, entered the label’s offices and studios at 147 Walker Street in the early evening hours.

Officials allegedly seized close to 50,000 CDs and took the 17 employees into custody for questioning.

According to authorities, the search executed sought only DJ Drama and Don Cannon, who were acharged with making and selling illegal CDs.

“These guys are actively advertising online. They’ve got a website that they’re advertising from, that’s where you place your orders and that’s how the orders are shipped out,” Matthew Kilgo of the RIAA told local reporters. “Statistics also show that you can make up to a 90% profit just off the resale of counterfeit CDs. So there’s huge money to be made in it, and there’s no stigma attached to purchasing it.”

In addition to the CDs, which were taken as evidence and will later be destroyed, police also seized computers, recording equipment and cars on the premises.

Representatives for the Aphilliates Music Group could not be reached for comment.
