Capo Strikes Again, Hacks Tru Life’s Myspace
In an effort to retaliate for being dressed up in a Borat style spandex one-piece thing on the cover of Tru Life’s new mixtape, somebody in the Dipset camp has hacked into the Roc La Familia rappers Myspace page. The culprit has replaced all of Lizzy’s pics with various Jim Jones images including the one you see above. All of the music was removed and replaced with the Jim Jones and Jay-Z Brooklyn remix. I’m guessing it’ll be fixed at some point this weekend, so I took some screenshots for posterity. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to rap beef in 2007.

He could have easily ignored Jim, which leaves me to believe that he got some SHIT up his sleeve that the rest of the hip hop world don’t know about. He definitely don’t need the limelight after havin’ the best sales in the first week for KC since he been rappin’. Dips had their chance to shine last year and they were only 1 for 3 (if you wanna count Jim’s Koch release as successful). Cam? Flopped. JR? Don’t me laugh. On the real, beef-aside… I copped the first Dipset joint, “Diplomatic Immunity”, and that was flames at times. (If that was trimmed down to the strongest 10-12 tracks, it would have been a damn-near classic album). For me, dudes haven’t reached those levels since. Not even near. What have any of those brothers done since that can stand side by side with “I Really Mean It”? Nada.
On the real, beef-included… Roc-A-Fella put out the best work from Dipset (“Diplomatic Immunity”, “Come Home With Me”) and that’s all there is to it. Everything else is just hurt feelings and ego’s.

^^true its really fucked up that malcolm doesn’t get his proper respect. but don’t get it twisted, this country only gave us a mlk holiday to throw us a bone. some white folks have issues with king’s policies (socialism, etc.) and they want the king holiday taken away. i lean more towards the whole by any means necessary ideology myself yet respect martin for his contributions to the civil rights movement. non-violence is not my thing when someone is shooting us down, beating us in the streets, spraying us with waterhoses and etc but at least martin stood up for what he believed in, went against the grain, went to jail for his beliefs and etc. that’s more than you can say for a lot of people during that time and even today.
