Dude is just iight!!! He needs to get an chance to grow as an artist by dropping an album a year and profecting his craft and fan base!! But hes just iight so is Millz and Pap etc!!
Saigon is aiight. Pap is aiight. These the two dudes “bringing the east back” this year?
Shit… remember 93/94 when we had Nas dropping, Big Poppa dropping, Meth dropping, Black Moon, Smif N Wessun, O.C., Keith Murray, Jeru… the list goes on. I know, I know; I’m stuck in the past and the game has changed, but shit, Sai and Pap ain’t near those levels.

^ i think one of the main problems today is we get over saturated with mixtapes so by the time their albums come out you’ve heard too much of these guys already and they don’t have much to say. But then again, labels keep pushing them back today. Back in the day these artist came out of nowhere and it was like, wow!! Pap been out for almost 9 years and no album, and Sai been around for a while too and we’ve already heard some of their best material on mixtapes.

I agree…
…Also, theres nothing WORSE than this Monkey ass New York chick lookin in my face! (also, why is it that All women named tiffany are Half damn crazy)
The thing about Saigon is that he brings freshness to the game. Just listen to his flow and delivery. And we can count on the album having dope beats, Just Blaze produces 10 of 15 tracks on it.
I honestly believe it’d be good for hiphop if Sai blew up.
“I wonder if Sai yiddy will get any more Entourage appearances this next season.”
^In an interview he said he’d be on the show again, but the script isnt written yet. If his album does well he’ll become a huge star in the show, and if it bombs, well so will his career on the show..
Back in the day these artist came out of nowhere and it was like, wow!!

That’s true. Even the dudes like Big and Nas who had been on the scene for a minute weren’t hitting us in the head with 5 mixtapes a year in between Party and Bullshit/Live at The BBQ and their debut albums. Equally, emcees have gotta eat, and mixtapes pay the bills for dudes like Sai and Pap. It just means that by the time they albums hit, they’re old news.

^^^^^^ yeah, like when i heard Nas, Wu and Big for the first time, I was like who the fuk are these guys? Now its like, “oh Sai, Pap, mixtape number 17, yawn”. But like you said they gotta eat.
saigon is the truth so is pap, how can you get enough of good music, more mixtapes, the more renown they get, so theyd get a wider fan base, some would get tired of it, some might just be put on to it, i think mixtapes are a good look for up comin rappers
down south reppin, he’s rapping clearly, you just have angel dust in your ears. listen again. the lines about ‘find a church or tabernacle/get a religion to adapt before i let the savages have you’ was pretty tight.
lol.. new to this blog.. and it’s preety good much better than that XXL crap i have been reading lately, full of fanboys, [you know the type] GAME is shit, 50 is shit.. those kinda guys..
Personally, i listened to that U.Murder mixtape to hear what all they hype is about, just another rapper talking about useless crap.. suprised G.Latern will put his name on that..
