I can’t help but feel that Jada and Styles are in danger over at Jimmy’s house. BEP, 50 and Em’s albums bankroll the ‘urban’ (bullshit word I know) section of that label, so they are as safe as it gets.
Banks should get dropped though, for releasing one of the most tired-sounding, formulaic album’s to come out in a minute. Obie Trice didn’t perform (nh), Pharrell’s joint (nh) was terrible and although Busta had a nice album, I’m not sure it moved big numbers. Maybe I’m wrong…

Label’s need to get away from having to sign an MC’s peoples to keep the Franchise dude happy. Should Yayo have a deal to keep Curtis happy? What about the Bleek and Jay situation? Bravehearts and Nas?
I know it isn’t that simple as alot of these so-called Franchise MC’s have label deals, added to that the CEO’s know that afiliates of a ‘hot rapper’ will sell purely off the association (D12, prime example), but I’m thinking when that dies (Banks) surely the labels shouldn’t have to carry dead weight to keep the star happy? I can’t remember Cold Chillin’ being desperate to offer Scoob Lover and Scrap Lover a deal.

Alright concerning JM:
The Death B Dishonor DVD showed Cease getting his papers from the courthouse and showing to Pete and they co-signing him… Then the narrator says there is new found documents saying Cease used a “laser-pointer” to idenfiy D-Roc & Suif. So it kinda left somethings unanswered…
So I wondering if D-Roc & Suif are still cool with Cease, because that could say all alot about the whole situation.
After watching the trailer for that “Conspiracy 10 years later DVD”, the end kinda made Cease look bad (even going as far as labeling him a rat). Well, Conspiracy DVD is produced by D-Roc himself, so that should mean something, as far as if he’s still cool with Cease.
And I went on the Conspiracy DVD myspace page… and it’s got D-Roc’s name all over it and you can even write letters to him (even though he’s locked up)… The interesting thing is: his top friends include Lil Kim!..So I thinks that’s relevant in the situation…
After seeing this, I’m think he’s now cool with Kim and riding with her again and riding against Cease…. But I kinda hope that ain’t the case…
What you think about it now?

^Damn… good breakdown. I think D-Roc don’t know the whole situation. Because why would all these street dudes co-sign Cease if he was a snitch. Remember, everyone else in the situation already copped a plea so Cease would’ve been committing perjury (i.e. Kim) if he didn’t ‘fess up to his claims. I don’t know what Kim has been telln’ D-Roc, but everybody else got the OTHER story. I mean, Pistol Pete co-signed him and he got a label called K.A.R. (Kill All Rats). Shit just aint addin’ up. I wonder who is runnin’ D-Roc’s myspace page.

But I had to put out there a real opinion. I totally agree with Spanish Jay what Papoose did was very commendable… But its hypocritical, violence can NOT be bad ( and spoken out against only because a bunch white male cops killed a black man for no reason, but it MUST be condemned just as harsly as black on black crime is.
