Its fucked to me that %90 of Yanks have never been out of the US, to me thats crazy. Even broke muthafuckas on my block in Brixton have been outside the country, I guess its easier to travel when you live in Europe………

it was really was life-altering for me as well. i came back to the states a changed woman. that was my first trip out of the country too though so perhaps that had something to do with it. anyway i didn’t want to come back. everything seemed so vibrant. the sky was bluer, grass greener, earth redder. you get my drift. i wanna get back over there but its gonna have to be after school. right now my finances would not allow it.
i went to the slave castles too. i cried. i’m an extra sensitive pisces though so that probably had a lot to do with my tears. it was crazy standing in those tiny rooms where women were raped, people were chained and left to die and etc. it was almost like you could still feel their pain.
