One of the dudes from OnSmash who makes my job that much easier just informed me that Jay-Z/UGK performance on 106th and Jay actually was broadcast, but only on the West Coast. I’m not sure why the rest of the country missed it, maybe they had technical issues, but somebody should let Bun B know before BET Little Brothers him and Pimp C. The Nas interview above was also cut from the initial broadcast. You gotta love how the Little Homey mentions Black Republicans like we haven’t all heard it already.

I live in the south (TN) and I saw both the interview with Nas (it was after he came out and performed a song off of his upcoming cd) and the performance with UGK. They also interviewed UGK. They talked about how they almost passed on doing the song w/ Jay because Pimp C was still into the hardcore and he thought the song was too “soft” for him.
