From a Def Jam press release I just received:
Getting lost in More Fish, what’s immediately striking is Ghost’s artistic consistency; he continues to put out great music at an alarmingly prolific rate. Tracks like the Rakim inspired “Ghost Is Back,” and the albums’ first single – the dancefloor burner “Good” – bristle with energy, Ghost’s legendary mic skills in top form. Lupe + Game + Nas + whoever else : can’t go on a worldwide tour like Jay did last month (even before his new album got released)
Jay’s going to sell couple million easy and go on a big domestic tour… He wins , I don’t care what Lupe or Game have on there album…

He WILL be better than Jay and Nas and this kid isn’t near his prime yet. I know that’s a helluva prediction to make but I forsee nothin’ but greatness for this guy.

^ But that just solidifies the arguement that he has plenty of time to grow and we shall see where he takes it. And for the record, Jay hasn’t stemmed from his hustling roots to be successful therefore I don’t see why Lupe shall have to sacrifice his roots. I’m sure those type of themes will be incorporated into his albums/tours/songs with more adult substance such he has did for his debut album. When it comes to music, you don’t adapt to the “norm” but vice versa. That’s why G Unit’s demise is right around the corner. They veered away from what made them G Unit once they signed with the machine and their fickle fan base will choose move on to the next rapper with whatever gimmick they have to offer. Meanwhile, someone like Ghostface who doesn’t sell a shit load of albums will always have a loyal fan base because besides givin’ us more heat every album, he doesn’t steer away from the foundation that him who he is today.
