Biggs I pretty much agree with your track by track assesment, except I think all 3 verses on Trouble are fire. I think Do You Wanna Ride is fire. I don’t think any of the beats are wack. The only track I can’t really fuck with is Anything. It’s a solid album in my opinion.

I don’t know what you mean, I bumped Trouble and Dig a Hole on repeat on the way to work today. The Prelude is another one, as is Oh My God and Ride. I’m not really sure what everybody was expecting from this album, but personally, I was pleasantly surprised. I wasn’t sure if Hov still had it in him lyrically but he lived up to my expectations. I never place alot of weight on beats, so non of the beats really bother me. Sure, some could be better, but none of them are wack to me (except Anything, but I don’t think it’s totally wack, I just think it’s wack for Hov to flow over)

to be honest 600-700k is very good because jay-z has always sold around 500k for a guy to be away for 3 years that would be deasant. I look at it this was Michael Jordan retired the first time and came back and won 3 rings. This is the first time Jay-z has retired. I believe he is just warming up.

i’m a big jay fan but when i first heard encore and psa i was like what’s up with this but when he performed them live i was like okay. you start to feel the energy in the songs and the beats on the track were very basic. what people have to do is give him some time and give the album some time. Like he said everyone screaming they want the old Hov but the new improved hov hits like albert puljos. It’s all about music. when he did the annie song people went crazy with that and that was in ’98. At first when i heard the songs on kingsom come i was skeptical but music evolves. this is just my opinion
