    I really think alot of the album was recorded with LIVE presentation in mind.
    He even said he did show me what u got specifically FOR the world TOUR
    (so the crowd could “wave..wave..wave”-my words not his)

    I just think when u makin music with that in mind first it obviously changes what would have been..I dont think jay needs to record wit that shit in mind. he didnt recorded reasonable doubt with live performance in mind and the anniversary concert was one of the nicest shows I ever been too.

    BUT artists make more off tours than record sales (especially now with the internet) and I’m not hatin on jay for thinkin about that when recording but
    I think its obvious on this album some of those tracks were done to be performed live than to bump in the crib or ride on the regular

    nope.. TBA had some good songs but overall, major let down. Replay value was minimal. Blueprint 1 is 100% better. Production on KC is a major flaw. Why is Swiz Beats on the album? Why did Kanye only do one track when its ever so clear than Kanye and Jay have a chemistry unmatched since Guru and Premo.. So many things about the album have me scratching my head like “when coming out of retirement goes wrong”..

    I havent listened to the CD in the car yet which is usually the ultimate test but so far it feels like watching Kobe cook Michael Jordan in a Wizards uniform. Somethings just should not happen.

    Technically- for the past damn near 10 years, instead of accepting the reality of the ‘digital revolution’ it has fought tooth and nail every satep of the way tryinmg to stop technology. News flash- its not possible. Had the industry as a whole accepted & embraced the direction technology was heading and the accessibility to music that was coming and that currently exists, it could have figured out a way in which it could come out on top and use technology to its advantage- and not be raped by it as it is now.

    Artistically- shits just not good. A&R budgets no longer exists- if you are real smart you could trace this waaay back to the major mergers around 98-00 of all the major labels. Merging creates homogenization. While it may be good for phone companies to all be one and the same— in an industry that essentially makes billion on artistic mediums- this type of white washing and institutionalizing has created an art form thats so boring and lacking in passionor creativity it utterly fails to connect with the record buying public, who could care less about crap and are happy to use technology-free!-to their advantage

    Technically- for the past damn near 10 years, instead of accepting the reality of the ‘digital revolution’ it has fought tooth and nail every satep of the way tryinmg to stop technology. News flash- its not possible. Had the industry as a whole accepted & embraced the direction technology was heading and the accessibility to music that was coming and that currently exists, it could have figured out a way in which it could come out on top and use technology to its advantage- and not be raped by it as it is now.
