^ Don’t do that. A CD is cool for your kids college fund or for money you’re just not gonna touch anytime soon. But the interest rates on CD’s are low, so if you’re lookin’ for a quick turnover on investment then it’s not the wise decision. The average rate on a CD is about 6 to 7% interest. Keep the money in your 401k. But definitely look into some mutual funds and IRA’s.
