ive just listened to this song 5 times. Now, I honestly hate rap music. Detest it. ABHOR it. and i dont mean ALL rap, i still respect old school and underground. But listening to this track actually reminds me of why some rap can still live. Im not saying its the greatest song ever, but if i ACTUALLY downloaded it and sat down to listen to it, it must mean something. It is his way of attacking or removing what has hurt him, through lyrics. I dont know if anyone may know this,(sarcastically speaking)but lyrics are used for self expression, not to snap and lean and walking it out to a bunch or retards over a beat.

This track is the realest shit out right now, real talk. I canâ€™t believe so many of you guys are sleeping on this. Havenâ€™t we heard enough of Hov to realize heâ€™s a lyricist? Why must everything be a club track talkin about gold bottles and bars full of nonsense. There isnâ€™t 1 formula to make a hitâ€¦ back to what we all know, introspective shit we can all relate to. Switched up his flow and road the beat like a pro, as usual. Classic.

If u actually take the time to listen to what jay says, and understand wut he means in a literal sense with a little bit of knowledge about his backround you’d realize this song is hot. This is why hip-hop is dead. because now a days the only thing that u people like is shit that tells u to snap your fingers and lean wit it roc wit it. This song talks about painful problems with friends and co-workers (Dame: verse 1), it also talks about relationship problems (Beyonce: Verse 2) and finally it talks about the death of a close loved one (His nephew: Verse 3).
These are things that everyone can relate to at some point in life. I, for one am glad to hear Jay being honest and talking about something real that everyone can relate to. I love it when rappers let us get a glimps of what is going on in their lives. I think people can respect honesty.
I just hope that “the faith that was started” in Jay’s life is true faith in Jesus. That’s something we all need…the Saviour to save us from ourselves, and our sin.

You got to know a lil about what went on to understand this track. I think its hot and it explains his mindset about the whole situation.
