Rotten Apple wasn't a bad album by no means and it also wasn't a classic either but honestly how many classics are there in hip hop history? This CD has great replay value this shit really does grow on you and he rarely lets you down lyrically!!! This shit is tight maybe an 8/10 which is great for a non-classic all hood album minus the one chick song!!!

My Favs.
Rotten Apple
Make a Move
Get Clapped
Gilmore
Survival
Change
Iceman

Those tracks cold as hell...

And as far as the Massacre tell me these songs aint crazy hood tracks;

In My Hood
This is 50
I’m Suppose to Die tonight
Get in my car
Ski Mask Way
A Baltimore Love Thing
Gunz come out
My Toy Soldiers
Position Of Power
I dont Need’em

Think about this: In less than 4 years G-Unit has released 10 albums with only 3 not going plat thats a hell of a work load with a lot of good music so 50 needs to take a break but I can't fault the dude for being a better hustler than everybody in the rap game not to mention he has put out 22 mixtapes in 4 years and maybe more if I think about it a little longer so it easy to hate on the person thats working...

hey im not hating man trust me, i want them to do good and have been defending them through all this hate gunit gnot shit, i was bootlegging power of the dollar in 2000 off napster watched those guys come up. i just dont like the shit they have been putting out lately.

i mean opinions are opinions...but somebody just said it themselves theres 5 songs on there for everybody...5 good songs for me out of 22 is less than 25%. take that in comparison to get rich or die trying, beg for mercy, hunger for more, where id say at least half, if not more of the tracks are hot..let me rephrase not just hot - like great. power of the dollar and guess whos back are tight albums too.

i was ehh about the masscre, there are some good songs, but there are also a lot of bullshit. where is this creative storytelling? im sorry but the song that was hyped as some insightful creative wonder, a baltimore love thing, is played with its drug as a woman metaphor thats been done to death, nothin creative about it. so amazing, build you up, are prolly hot if youre a girl, but im not feelin em...im sure thats the shit jada is talkin about....JR made a hot beat for so amazing, but thats about it for those....my fave tracks on that album were in my hood, this is 50, ski mask way, ryder music (minus the hook), and a few other are listenable, piggy bank wasnt bad, position of power, outta control...

i wasnt even talkin shit about the massacre, it was better than average bullshit, it just wasnt 50s second coming, even the dre beats were sub-par. also, sales dont make something hot, im pretty sure ashlee simpson went platinum at least once, the massacre was gonna sell 9 mil regardless of anything, 50 was godlike at the time. if it was another get rich, it woulda sold 25 mil on some led zeppelin or beatles shit.

im really not feelin rotten apple, and im far from a child. cake, survival, make a move, iceman are pretty good, playboy 2 is alright...none are incredible. the rest i could have done without hearing at all. a few more raps about diamonds and ice and what color they were would have made it hot haha. do a track by track compare with hunger for more, id love to read it. im not the only one either...even xxl gave it an OK review, dont mean its set in stone, but doesnt look good either...

dont write me off as some g unit hater or groupie...it aint the case, im just speakin on how i see it...sorry for this long ass post, im sitting in class mad bored

As for the Massacre

Today I listened to that album for the first time in a very long time and honestly that shit bumped all the way through!!! The only problem with that cd is that it should have been a double disk but the beats were crazy, all the hooks were hot and his story telling was up to par and creative. Now 50 aint never been no feed africa type nigga and when he goes that route to please niggas then thats when I won't buy his shit.

Disk 1
Intro
In My Hood
This is 50
I'm Suppose to Die tonight
Get in my car
Ski Mask Way
A Baltimore Love Thing
Gunz come out
My Toy Soldiers
Position Of Power
I dont Need'em

Disk 2
Gatman and Robbin
Candy Shop
Outta Control
Disco Inferno
Just a Lil Bit
Ryder Music
Build you up
So Amazing
Hate it or Love it (Remix)
God Gave Me Style

Disk 1 is better than most people full albums and for those people that like the old 50, disk 2 has at least 7 hits for the people that buy album. This is honestly the most complete album I have heard since "All eyes on me" call me what you want but this shit is hot, too bad it only moved 9 million copies but the shit was far from ass. Jada said it was love songs and the follower nation followed that even though there was only 2 legit love songs on the entire 21 track LP.

Only a child would call Rotten Apple a bad album!!!

I'm not happy with the sales at all but I'm also not happy with the fact that the album was so hard and wasn't very versatile it should have been more party shit on the album and 50 didn't promote the album as much as he did the last one they should have shut 106 & Park down the day before the album dropped and performed that Hot Rod shit and some Mobb Deep shit and then the Banks do Playboy 2 and Hands up and that would have made his first week better instead John Cena got more face time on 106 & Park then banks the day before his album dropped which is crazy!!!

As far as this being backlash for bad product well thats a debate we can have because 1st of all the massacre is classic the only problem with that album is the fact that it should have been a double disk other than that it was at least 5 tracks for everyone on that album. If there was no piggy bank on that CD and he saved that shit for the next mix tape and dropped videos for So Amazing, God Gave me Style, and Build you up those songs would have stayed on the radio for months and pushed the album over the top and for the record those were the only 3 love songs on a that 21 track CD SO the haters are wrong again!!! And yea Yayo album was ass I can't argue that but Mobb Deep album wasn't bad at all it's probably there best to date.....

I'm not worried about them going away because first off 50 won't let that happen and secondly there is too much talent on that team to just go away Banks top 5 in NY right now and Buck top 5 in the South right now and they both make good music so calling the unit talentless is just hate!!!

People started haten on the Unit because of Piggy bank which should have been left off the album and 50 should have let the people do all the arguing about whos the best and just kept making great music instead even though the cats he went after are a bunch of fakes that started that shit in the first place people are turning on him!!!
