no, I don’t know what the fuck you’re talking about. like people have already said this is an entertainment blog. if I have in fact let comments about abuse towards women ride, you’ll also notice that I have let racist, homophobic, and otherwise derogatory comments ride as well. if you don’t like what somebody says, then reply to them and give them a piece of your mind. one of the reasons so many people enjoy this site is because I’m not a comment Nazi. I don’t have time to, nor do I wish to, sit around scanning comments for remarks that may be objectionable to some people. you don’t participate in the chats that go on here, so you don’t understand the context that some comments are made in, or how we kid around, so don’t come on here and read one thing and start making assumptions cuz you just look foolish.

this is America and everybody has the right to speak their mind. thats why the KKK is allowed to march down the street and spread their disgusting views. if somebody says something abusive thats their problem, I’m not gonna delete their comment just cuz someone might be offended. as far as impressionable minds, well to paraphrase Mr. Barkley, I’m not a role model and I am not here to raise your kids.

if you enjoy censorship then go read a fucking blog where the writer controls everything you see on the screen, but this damn sure is not one of those sites. and don’t ever come on here and accuse me of degrading or contributing to the degradation of women. I am the father of two daughters and the son of a beautiful woman, and you would be lucky to ever meet a man who is as respectful towards women as I am.

… while your intentions may be pure and your opinions well-received, keep in mind this is an entertainment forum, heavy on the comedic efforts … people still have the freedom to pursue and engage in entertainment as THEY see fit … if you have issue with the treatment of women in the entertainment industry, you’d be better served and you’d hold more weight if you took your fight to the entities that are responsible for the programming and vulgarity that you detest (radio,movies, tv) … this is merely a blog site … the barbershop-locker room banter that you referred to, does take place here, but it takes place among those who condone it, and most times, we take humor in it … if you dont like it, dont visit … dont attack shanti because she gets it and you dont … everyone doesnt share your seemingly self-righteous concerns … dont fret about what you cant control … if you cant laugh at us, dont worry, we’ll be laughing at you …
