Eyewitness News has learned the 28-year-old rapper, whose real name is John Jackson, was hit at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and 21st Street in the Flatiron District just before 12:30 a.m. The shooting stemmed from a fight that spilled out of Justin’s Restaurant, owned by Combs, at 31 West 21st Street.

Police say shots were fired in a parking lot outside the restaurant, and Fabolous was hit in the right thigh. Three friends pulled the rapper into a car, and they sped off to take the rapper to the hospital.

Police pulled the vehicle over at the intersection of East 22nd Street and Third Avenue for speeding through numerous red lights. Two loaded weapons, a 9mm and a .40 caliber handgun, were found in the vehicle. Both of the weapons are apparently unlicensed.

Fab was taken to nearby Bellevue Hospital. Charges are pending against him and the 3 other men he was with.

I donâ€™t think we can really look forward to pure Hip Hop efforts to come from Jay or Nas. I have to absolutely agree with you. What Iâ€™ve heard form Jay so far has been pop songs in the realm of Puffâ€™s â€œwanna make em dance club bangersâ€. I take everything with a grain of salt and look at it objectively as growth but I donâ€™t really look for â€œwhat I considerâ€ pure hip hop from that direction. Nas will surprise me on occasion but still sounds diluted (post lost tapes). When I heard the Vatican tape it was good to hear Rae spit new complicated flows with and awkward cadence. I would be surprised if Nas or Jay tighten the flow back up to get the saturated bars like they used to. I would be surprised if Ballerina P and Hollywood Hav spit it again like The Infamous. The 90s were the 3rd golden age of Hip Hop and only a few from that school are still at it, for the progress of the music.

Did y’all hear when Charles Barkley came into the booth near halftime and they started yapping. That’s when the Cards started recorving fumbles/intercepts, but then whey they got the ball on the 30 or so they started playing it conservative on 1st & 2nd and then couldn’t do shit on a long 3rd and had to settle for field goals (I think it happend 3 times and they only came away with 6 pts). Even the announcers were like, “you got to go for it.. have that killer instinct, etc…” Right when Barkley was signing off he even said that 21 pts (or whatever they had) wasn’t enough to win…

I don’t understand the coaching staff???? If a ex-NBA player and some commentators get it, why can’t the coaching staff understand… Ridicoulous!

Look at this mock draft that was made before the season..AP isnt even on it..not saying that that is right..but they also have the JETS picking 2nd…if you look at the picks besides us and ATL at 20something..NO other team picks a RB..after the NFL season I can see maybe one other team being added to the ones that need first rd RB help.

^^LES cats is more likely to jumniggas than to pop off shots..LES has some goons but I never ever seen a nigga say “Im from LES” and get the crowd amped..it just doesnt happen…having said that i know places in BK where a nigga could catch a hot one from white boys so..dont think cause you in a certain area you cant catch one…but overall LES holds as much weight as Staten Island does in NY.

^^in this day in age I disagree….Washington is all about wedge politics for the last 8 years, they serve only 51 percent of the country, and 51 percent is all you need. so they divide and conquer, win elections and only serve the 51 pecent of the nation that voted for them (the south, religions right, coporations) and neglect the other 49 percent of the american people. I agree to put my life on the line for that. So the “give back” I provide to my country is paying taxes and abiding by the laws. Thanks it period.
