Jadakiss Arrested On Gun Charges
Kiss went and got himself locked up last night for a loaded pistol:
The rapper, whose real name is Jason Phillips, was one of four people inside a car stopped by Yonkers police at 4:25 a.m., said Detective Sgt. Joseph Pietropaolo. Phillips, 31, and the three other men were all charged with criminal possession of a weapon when a loaded handgun was found inside the vehicle, the detective said.
I can say from personal experience that Yonkers P.D. be hating and be trying to catch you ridin’ dirty. I can also say from experience that Yonkers Central Booking is alot more comfy than Booking in either the Bronx or Manhattan. He may not get as sweet a deal in court as he did in N.C. that time, but he has money, he’ll be ‘aight.
UPDATE: Damn, looks like I spoke to soon. Kiss was denied bail and sent to Valhalla.

LLoyd Banks new CD is pretty fucking good. Seriously, you are going to want to buy it and enjoy the top down music.
Another thing I noticed with this CD and Obie Trice’s latest is that the CD packaging is nice. I usually don’t give a fuck about this stuff since it is usually just throw away stuff that I never look at again, but these two Aftermath got their shit together. Just looking at most CD covers these days and the usually fucking huge FBI warning, it is nice to see just a logo that covers up maybe a fifth of the CD at most, with no warning.
I got this Thursday and only listen it to it this afternoon, which is a shame because that is something I would have defintely bumped Friday night.

I have problems with people defending the new Jay-Z song by saying it is justified just because it is a club song. A club song can be a good song also. Case in point:

Jay-Z – Fuck All Nite (was this a club song, can’t remember if they played it, but I really like it, probably my favorite Jay-Z “hey girl” song)
The biggest problem I have with this song is the sax. That thing is seriously turned up way too loud and just seems out of place. Seriously, I don’t care if Public Enemy had a hypeman who said the same thing a long minute ago. I’m really looking foward to that song with that crazy bass Neptune beat that leaked. Seriously, Neptunes are coming back stong in the clubs with that track and the two Luda club classics. (Money Maker, Girls Gone Wild)
That said, it is still a decent song.
