The best thing I can say about this song is that it is more evidence that Jay-Z has by far away the best flow in all of hip-hop history. He can ride any beat, any style.

I’m sorry, but this is by far the worse Jay-Z “hey girl” song. And I really dug those Neptune tracks off Blueprint 2 and Black. “Fuck All Nite” = classic. These verses aren’t nearly as good as the ones off Beyonce’s new album, which were incredibly underrated just because it was Beyonce.

I wanna hear this at a party. Sounds slow enough and with enough cues it might be better off at a house party (which we still do out on in the West), not exactly an instant club classic like Luda’s “Money Maker” and “Girls Gone Wild”

You know, there might a better version on the album, it seems like some of the levels need to be adjusted on the horns. Especially on that 2:30 verse it is kinda hard to hear Jay.

Anybody who doesn’t consider this the most anticapted album of the rest of the year after the big name rock bands dropped Oct. 3 (four major groups, one day, the first day for 2007 Grammy consideration), then you are kidding yourself. Maybe the Game might be challenging with his two major hits and publicity stunts. We all know Dre is going to be on the album, fuck I have a song where doesn’t just produce, he spits a verse.

I think with it hitting this early we can expect the second single a couple weeks after the album drops. That would be the two month after this video premier, and be damn near the time that Nas albums drop. On second thought…

Okay, I’ve after the fourth, fifth listen, I can really see this being a house party hit, especially after it gets major airplay and everybody knows the cues.

House Parties > Clubs

Pros: More personal, you know half the people already, make your own mixes

Cons: Drinks are far worse than clubs. Bud Select or anything hard outside of it’s own bottle is like a diamond in the coal.

Kids don’t even know about Tijuana. Tijuana is the true Sin City. Any experience you can buy, all in the open too. Blueprint 2 is one of the most underrated albums ever. I’m not saying it is a classic, but it is probably the best rap double album and concept (how ever weak) albums. But then again, that is like saying you are the smartest kid with down syndrome. Â© Waiting

Anyway, they are both great, different sytles and obvious different reasons to be in the game. Regardless, I think it is a hot single. Not one of his best but very different and thats what makes it great. The horns make me vibe to it and the beginning. If it were to jump into the beat, it would be like every other song out. This song is only weak because Jay has done songs like this 10 times or more already. This song would have been hot 6 or 7 years ago, but his formula for releasing songs like this is getting repetitive and tiresome. At this point in his career he should be able to release deeper, more creative songs, but he won’t risk the sales. We’re getting the usual from him though; pop singles and usually good albums. But as a “comeback” song it gets thumbs down!
