i guess i’m the only NY dude hear real enough say that the song aint strong enough to be reppin NY in this current state of Hip Hop. The MCs did their jobs but the beat wasnt up to par.
I just expected more of a “Boom Bapp” beat with some dirty pianos or somethin.. Some Premierish Type Drums. HiTEK usually comes thru but that was not the one for a NY Joint.
And the dude on the Hook.. personally, i liked that “running” joint by Game. He sounded more natural on that Game song. On this NY joint, it sounded forced. Like he was trying too hard. I dont like it.
