Busta said during his time with Elektra and J Records they gave him very little creative control. Those labels always wanted him to do those animated, bounce around tracks. At Aftermath, Dre has given him some more freedom to get his thug-on. But him talking about pushing crack and guns is mad corny, but now he’s allowed to do it. If he was still at Elektra we’d still be getting those animated party tracks. To start acting tough now after 15 years in the game is lame on his part.

Naw dawg, 410 is the name of the group, itâ€™s not a compilation of other bmore artist, but they are from baltimore (the name is self explanitory) it should be hot. Did you hear the new bossman song called Ayo???? I hate to say how i really feel about bossman because heâ€™s reppin the city, but heâ€™s getting his angelous on pretty heavy in this song. His lyrics are always on point, but i think itâ€™s his delivery that makes me think heâ€™s tryna sound like jay-z. Just my thoughts tho, you might feel otherwise. Overall the song is aight

I’ll definitely check for it though. So far I haven’t been disappointed by any of the singles he has released. That song with Brooke Valentine would have put him over the top had she sold some units. The video woulda dropped, Camp Lo’s “Luchini” beat woulda be resurrected (or just “old” to us who know about it… kinda like T.I’s “Why You Wanna”… I know Crystal Waters when I hear it) and he woulda been in the public eye.

Would yall believe that certain Best Buys are set up to attract certain buyers? One type of buyer they call the “Jills”, which are stay-at-home soccer moms who average around a 6 figure household income. Certain products are moved to the front of the store so that the Jills can see it visually, like cds for the kids and PDAs. Jills are considered the big spenders so they make sure it’s set up that way. Another type of buyer is called the “Buzzes”, the video game players. When you walk into a store and see video games at the front instead of music, then you know the target consumer they’re trying to reach in that demographic. He averages around 40K or so per year. Maybe more. The other is called the “Georges”. Georges are usually retired, older guys who make a shit load of money. They are into entertainment centers and audio sounds. The walkway leads them straight to their department which is why they have their own sales reps instead of the regular blue shirters. Shit is crazy fam.

Yeah, hiphop is totally dying off now. You have hiphop heads only in it for 5 years that know nothing more than what they see on tv. The “Rapper Persona” has taken over the “Lyricist” and “MC”. They care more about image and how true they say their story is than whether or not they could rap. Birthing retart hybrid’s like game that try to emulate a fake gangster image when he could’ve been succesful on the strength of his lyrical ability alone. My guess is in 5 years, all we’ll have is the music we grew up with. Hip Hop really will be dead.

^ Steve Rifkin probably wouldn’t have done that if he knows now what he knew then. But at the time, that was the best deal to have and mofos STILL can’t get a deal like that. Allowing the Wu members to venture out was the best way for them to get whatever solo deal they wanted at the highest price. Hence, Meth and Ghost probably made out better than anyone. If they all woulda did solo joints under Rza’s production company, they probably wouldn’t have gotten the advances they received or as many residuals from album sales. Imagine if you’re Meth with a solo album and you’re gettin’ the same contract as U-God with a solo album. You’d be pissed knowin’ that you could get the most outta your contract with someone else.

I started watching at season 2 and within the first three episodes, jack bauer went back from his hiatus, did a sick interigation, shot the guy he was questioning, cut off his head, brought it to some mob guys to get back in as a mole, and was part of a bombing. ^that was just unnecessary. plus the script was craaazy weak. andre was ACTING with a capital A. The dancing scenes were hot and the idea was dope but i wished it was less cliche. macy gray was good.
