Get em’ Uncle L!!…lol. No Redman album since 2001!!?!?, wtf!! No Budden album since 03!! Those albums were pushed back before Jay got there so he’s not responsible for that. Im not gonna pretend to know everything about the music business, but I do know a little something about corporate business structure.
Do you all believe that as President he single handedly runs a multi million (if not billion dollar) corporation. Do you think he walks in and says “Push Red’s shit back, i dont like it?” Do you think he calls Rick Ross into his office and says, we are gonna press your shit up in 1 month, so just throw any old thing together in the studio?
Seriously people. There are people with goddamned degrees and experience making decisions on who to push out and who not. They might be out of touch with the streets, but dont act like Jay does all this shit himself.
If anything, Jay is failing miserable at MANAGING his departments. Promotions, finance, etc. He isnt responsible for personally promoting albums. You think he heads his own street team?
