He didn’t really lose me on the Massacre after I actually heard the album (Ryder Music & Baltimore Love Thing = true classics), singles sucked, but tracks 9 through 16 were classic. Then he spits one of the best verses this decade on “Hate It or Love Itâ€. Then shit goes way downhill with following movie and mixtapes. Tries to copy Nelly and failing so horribly. Games does the mixtape thing better than anybody not named Weezy. Game comes on his own, putting out “One Bloodâ€, probably the rap song of the summer, even if it isn’t on MTV. Things could not look worse for the G-Unit commander.

Plus, a great beat with a deep rolling base line, seriously with my subs I can other people CD players skip with this beat. People have been calling for His head for a decade now. Rhymes are more complex now than they were in the past. Cats ain’t just rhyming with the last word of every bar, some times it’s 3 or 4 words in each bar that rhyme. That’s what I mean by lyrical, in this instance. Overall the term lyrical is loosely used, I think many people have different meanings behind it.

hov has several classics under his belt, he’s been in the game for more than a decade, he had a song with biggie, he’s a lot of rappers’ favorite rapper, he started several hip hop trends, he’s the first rapper to become president of a major label, even people who dont listen to rap know who he is, etc etc… rakim is still rightfully the number 1 rapper on most people’s lists but he hasnt put out an album in years.
tip the only thing he’s done is sell a lot of records, and scarface is still active, well i heard he retired but that was only a couple of weeks ago.
