I never peeped Phife’s solo, beyond the audio samples on Amazon.com…it seems as if I didn’t miss anything, though…to me, Phife is a decent MC, and he brought alot to Tribe, but I don’t see him doing much outside of that context, even though he had solo banging tracks like “Butter” and “Problems” off of Low End Theory and Midnight Marauders, he never struck me as the solo type.
