    ^true dat. just conversation really but what makes a group great and what makes them hiphop? CREATIVITY point blank. wu lost that creative spark at one point and got bogged down in their formula. Outkast always came creative, maybe some shit was not as hot as others but they never repeated themselves and they never did some ol’ bullshit. they took risks. Wu will always have a crown but it ain’t crazy to say that outkast outpaced them.

    i understand its for the soundtrack…that’s not my point though. i’m sure it goes with whatever scene it’s for but regardless i don’t see myself putting it in the ipod and listening to it from time to time. i love dre for who he is and i liked some of the songs of of “the love below” but this just isn’t a song i particularly want to listen to. as an artist i like dre better when he’s rappin but obviously he wants to do him and i give him props for that.

Outkast has been the most consistent group in rap of all time. This is just what the white man wants you to do, start arguing over who’s hotter when both groups is hot. I can see if its outkast vs dfb, or dfl, or some wack shit, but lets give props where props is due.

    yeah, actually i am from the south. also the more i listened to the big boi track the more i began to like it. if you would scroll up you will see that i never really said the song was wack or anything. obviously its a great song for a band to play and yes, i have watched plenty of HBCU bands perform at half-time.

    I think the big boi one is cool but I think the Idlewild blue isn’t that good becasue it seems it was made for the movie’s purposes and not a true Oukast song.
