Honestly Jay could probably do more to help out in the hood but damn I think he should at least get credit for things he has done. I mean seriously sure he has a lot of influence and perhaps in the future he will use it to stand behind policies that bring more to the folks living in economically disadvantaged neighborhoods who probably never would have gotten the chance to drink Cristal anyway. To a huge extent I agree with El Feces because I think anyone who has grown to a level of such prominence and power in society that is from the hood should speak out against injustices and things that affect poor neighborhoods. However also to some extent I agree with Biggums because I don’t think this means that he can’t spend his money on whatever he wants to spend his money on. There should always be a balance.

oh my bad spotrushers i just skimmed thru your post. but anyway yea the us had slaves too, but white people have always had control of the country. in several latin america countries the peasants organized militias and persuaded the rich land owners to distrubute some of the land, and they have also had some “working class” people in charge. it hasnt been always priveliged white people. i think that allowed for better race relations. like for example mexico had pauncho villa. there hasnt really been that type of movement here in the states.
and i’ve never been to europe but i’m brazilian and my parents have always told me that portuguuese are racists in general. and as far as italians i just know their society was facist only 50 years ago. i’m sure some of that sentiment is still there. and then you hear stories about italian players throwing up nazi salutes to the crowd after scoring goals, and black players getting bananas thrown at them on the field.

it’s a lot of dickriders on here for jay-z, why cant niggas just say they like both, and how is mega better than nas?
It’s funny how nas gets flack for albums but no one else gets credit for wack albums. Krs put out a few wack ones, Ice cube, put out a few wack ones. I know nobody aint bought the last 3 LL joints. Tupac had a whole slew of subpar albums. Nigga was putting out albums for the hell of it. It’s even documented that he said he know his album wasnt going to be all that. It’s funny how nas gets judged by a different standard.
Who else has put out all quality albums like Jay-z?
Em had one good album (mm lp) and the rest were okay.

yikes, what a horrible pic, lol! This is one of my favorite blogs, so to see my mug up here is totally traumatic : )……I look like I ran a marathon that morning, had a double shot of vodka (I’m one of those asians that get all red-faced after half a beer) and then tried to velveeta-cheese my smile to make up for the lack of togetherness. (Disclaimer: it was raining like cats n dogs that day…and…we were on stage at flex’s car show with a gazillion other ppl so that means plenty o’ sweaty rappertypes)…..but yeah, jim jones said he wants to box, and tru life says o-tay. I think its stupid because that one works out if both parties agree to then leave each other alone afterwards. Which they wont. Especially since someone’s gonna be the “everlast” and someone’s gonna end up the “sticky fingers.” So….some other kind of resolution is needed.
ps: for the record, i have a terminal case of “noassitall” but I’m hopeful that one day scientists will find a cure. Til then, please send carbs.

How is that Apple Power Book I was thinking about getting one
i got the iBook, its a less expensive version of the Power Book. its nicem but if you’re used to using PC’s, there’s alot of shit you need to download to get up to speed. good thing is, alot of it’s free or you can just use limewire. the interface is alot smoother than PC’s are, and apple computers dont have viruses (there’s about 3) and they almost never crash.

yeah i posted that more for the dont smoke cigarettes cause your growth gets stunted. i mean thats my song to puff to but im the one who first broke the puff puff pass rule in my group of friends ( again it happened cause im usually the one with the trees getting everyone high ) but i just started puffing on it till i was high then pass and let them do the same so now ill roll a huge blunt and smoke it with 3 other people and we will all only hit it 3 or 4 times but shit will burn for like 30-45 minutes and we will be high as motherfuckers.

I stopped smokin recently cause I’m gettin older and
after over a decade of smoking I feel I need to respect my body more
and find others ways to relax my mind than filling my lungs with smoke
