Sour D… My shift is from 10:30 – 7:00… and it sucks because I’m technically not on day shift. Day shift people have the privilege of what they call “flex time”. Flex time allows you to come in anywhere between 6 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. And you can leave 8 hours after the time you come in. After you do your 8 hours, you can stay past your shift, which is called “credit hours”. You don’t get paid for credit hours, but you can use them to take off work instead of using your sick or annual leave.
And that, my friend, is the break down of SSA.
