Now, I know Imma sound crazy for saying this…but try and understand the logic: Smoking crack to me, rather than selling it…is the lesser of two evils because atleast that indidvidual is choosing only to harm himself. damn, i started the whole dmx gunit wigger thing and i’m too busy to contribute to the convo. but i’ll do my best in one shot. i am white and grew up in a predominantly black neighborhood. i have been influenced by hiphop throughout my entire life. i share a deep passion for wu with many others. and those people that were part of that movement will tell you that they did not create wiggers, just put alot more white boys on to hiphop. there wasn’t nearly as much tough talk and image building back then. x made white boys want to be hard. they wanted to be feared and respected amongst their own and tried to do this by portraying the same image and trying to be something they’re not. now i came from the hood, to straight up suburbia so i had a taste of both worlds. these kids have no reason to worry, nobody locks their doors at night, there are good schools and plenty of opportunities to establish a succesful career. i truly was saved by my parents moving out here. to my dismay though, everyone in suburbia wanted to represent the image of poverty and hustling to survive around the time that x came out. not to say he is solely responsible, but he played a major role in the movement that led to the gunit wigger. lox are my favorite group and i’d have to say that in their later years they also contributed to that. before you know, everybody in the high schools is wearing gunit, kids are selling coke, carryign around knives and other brawlin materials, and i shit you not, i hear my town has bloods now. meanwhile there is no need for this. they come from a home with BOTH parents that work descent jobs and provide them with oppurtunity to go to college and live a successful life. something that i didn’t even think existed till i moved to jerz. gunit has created an lifestyle to abide by that even they don’t follow. music is music and thats it. to all the wiggers out there (bugsy), just stop it. be who you are. you can like hiphop and not have to put on 4xl long white tee’s and talk like your from whatever major city is close to you when clearly you are not from there. you can be a true hiphopper, just know, hiphop starts and ends with music. no where in there is having to live a lifestyle to be able to relate to that. i related to jay my whole life from when i was clockin, to now that i am a business man. i didn’t have to wear rocawear and s. dots and catch a gun charge to get my pass to buy his cd.

^LOL! I’m making that Quote of the Week until I see otherwise. And since when do Black people look as hood white people as sellouts? As far as I’m concerned they had to struggle just like we did. And probably had it worse in the hood on a social level and had to go through more shit to be accepted. People could easily argue, “well, a hood white dude can get a job over a hood Black dude”, and that’s a fair argument. But a hood white guy is raised on the same morals and ethics as a hood Black dude. And that usually means he’s gonna get hell trying to fit in with the establishment. Who do you think ESPN would rather hire as a analyst? Micheal Rappaport or Bryant Gumbel? The easy choice would be Bryant because he is a “safe” Negro who the establishment wouldn’t think twice about. Mainly because we know Bryant isn’t gonna buck the system if a problem would arise. I can’t front I stopped smoking years ago, but recently lit back up due to some heat wifey was dishing out, I found that when I’m high I can tune out everything shes saying and just listen to every 6th word, to follow along the conversation, but I think the key is burning once in a while that way it will heighten every experience rather than everyday it will become the norm, and you wont get the full effect.

YUP YUP and seriously how many of you are from hoods with absolutely NO white people, i can speak for northeast in pretty much every hood you go you will see 100% straight up white people, but you will see lots of white kids from the burbs dressing like hood dudes, but its the culture and the music, look at all forms of music people who are fans of a type of music tend to dress that way, hip-hop fans dress hip-hop, punk fans dress punk ( tight clothes colored fucked up hair, heavy metal goth people dress in all black paint there nails and shit hippies dress in the same clothes for weeks on end with holes in them and smell like hell ) because a white kid dresses in baggy pants wears his cap tilted and talks with hip-hop slang doenst mean he wants to be black it means he fucks with hip-hop and the culture.
