I’m from the South, I live in the A and honestly I liked the Yung Joc beat because it was a club banger and something I could get my poole palace or shoulder lean on to in the club. BUT I am soooooo tired of that damn song. Maybe its because it has been out so long in the A and now its just catching on in the rest of the country so the radio stations in the A continue to play that shit out. I’ll be the first to admit that Joc has no lyrical ability atall and in my opinion he lacks personality/charisma. When I see him on TV I cringe because he’s boring to the point that it’s annoying. I like Southern rap music because it’s familiar and SOME of it catches what the south is for all of us southern black folk. I respect the fact that most of the cats on here can’t stand it—everyone has a damn opinion and if you aren’t from the South I wouldn’t expect you to be feeling it too much anyway. The same way I don’t feel Papoose, Busta Rhymes and folk like that.

Damn, I never been on here this late. Fuckin’ thunderstorm had my internet down so I couldn’t post earlier during halftime like I wanted to (btw, I hate Dallas).
So, no one likes the Skateboard P and Louie Vuitton Don song, huh? Well, I can’t front because I do. The reason being is because I understand the concept they were trying to grasp: the 80′s. The beat gives it away from jump. And being that I’m a super-nostalgic, 80′s pop type of dude I was feelin’ it from jump. I wish I knew the names of those drums they were using back then because I’d like to hear someone re-create that sound. As for the video, it look like it could be a part of the whole Miami Vice movie that’s supposed to be droppin’ (hence, 80′s). The video could’ve definitely been better. The outfits is somethin’ I pretty much expected from these 2. Actually the video could’ve been scrapped and they could’ve did some ill ass 80′s shit, so yeah, it was definitely a shitty attempt. It’s actually a decent summer song. A lot better than hearing, “it’s goin’ dowwwwwn” for the rest of the summer.

Young Joc is no lyrical wonder admittedly but the song is catchy. The beat actually has interpolation of the Whodini classic “Im a Ho” if you listen to the chimes in the background.
