dave gotta realize that they hadda stop him before he really
blew up i think they drove him to quit because at the rate he was going he couldve ended up really controlling their network!!
he was getting so big they wouldve had to cater to him and really
give him power.. so by them undermining him like they did
i think they wanted to see if they could control him. they couldn’t..
its to bad becoz that was the best show we ever had
next to sanford and son and martin but damn only two seasons??

Fuck Comedy Central. If yall want an in-depth interview about the whole situation with Dave, read the copy (which should be a back-copy by now) of Esquire with Dave on the front. Basically, Neal Brennan’s bitch ass was findin’ cop-outs and wasn’t supporting Dave’s struggle when the concerns about creative control came about. For instance, they were attempting to mandate Chappelle’s use of the word “nigga”. Basically tellin’ him, a Black man in a conference room full of white people, what the word connotates. That’s just a vague synopsis, but yall should really read the article for more details.
So yeah, don’t buy that shit because Dave really didn’t want those episodes released. This is a time, FOR ONCE, where bootleggin’ it as much as possible will actually be supporting the artist.
