I think that movie money made him lax and nonchalant (and probably the crack too). Though lax and nonchalant are dope fiend traits but you get my drift, lol.
Damn, mofos suing over 2 lines? I really can’t blame ‘em because they’re strugglin’ artists. The judge probably knew it was cursing in the song but felt the need to fulfill his curiousity. I’d have to hear the songs to actually make judgement. I mean, Kanye gave Rhymefest his credit for the Jesus Walks so I don’t think he had any malicious intent. West Coast… In the 90′s, I think Wu definitely had the most influence on hip hop as a crew. They were the first to have a clothing line, shoes, hostin’ shit, and were even more successful with their solo ventures. Ghost had me rockin’ my first pair of navy blue Wallys. Landlord… That’s what’s up. I’ve been attempting to gather info about Islam lately because of the positive vibe I get from the few Muslim dudes I know. But I didn’t know you were so closely tight-knit as a religion. Christianity is cool but when it comes to Black churches I just don’t see as much unity. Plus I don’t like how they perceive Islam to the masses. For instance, I was in church at The Empowerment Temple back in ’04 and the preacher Jamal Bryant (for the record, this church is known nationally) said somethin’ to the liking of, “there are probably more brothers in here than any mosque in the city”. Now it happended to be Men’s Day that day, but I still think that comment was out of protocol. That’s just my view on it.
