    First,

Kanye and Common are a good fit, Be was straight crack for me..

  2. MadeInMilwaukee Says:

Killa season looking like a flop. Expect him to do about 75,000 next week at the most.

  3. KLO Says:

Isn’t Cam’ron on Koch? So that means, if he sell at least 500K, that’s like going Platinum….damn Killa, that’s not that bad…

  4. D. Billz Says:

KLO… I think Cam is on Asylum. But that might have been a one-album deal. I’m not sure.

  5. mmorales Says:

whats funny, is the basis of his sales have a part thanks to mentioning jay-z’s name, even if its a small part, way to push records with someone else’s rep

  6. MadeInMilwaukee Says:

Yeah he on Warner/Asylum. After he pulled all these stunts he should be double platinum.

  7. nation of thugacation Says:

eskay the SOHH link leads to nowhere “http://nahright.com/news/wp-admin/Courtroom%20Classics”

  11. Boosie Says:

    Here’s the facts

    ty biggums:

-believes 2nd childhood was nothing special, then had to take it back but not really
-believes that favor for a favor was nothing special.
    - did not even rate the fire intro on stillmatic
-still is dogmatic about there not being 5 hot songs on stillmatic when clearly there is plenty
    - said one mic was overrated
-had to recant his statement about I am being trash
-everyone has pointed out the double standard but he fails to repeat it
-goes off on tangents about nas topics and content with his life that has nothing to do with the question at hand about I am and stillmatic being trash
    - Very dogmatic in saying Stillmatic and I am being Trash. not average but Trash
-has argued about ether not being all that/says that nas only said 1 hot line in ether

—Very cocky and in his words talking to coldplay and Landlord said”FUCK YOU BOTH I KNOW MORE ABOUT HIP-HOP THAN YOU COULD EVER HOPE FOR. ”

the KICKER– *Believes that Takeover was better than Ether*(I am a jay fan and when I heard this even I admitted that ether beat takeover)

The DOOZY- this is in his own words Black album is just as good as reasonable doubt

The DOOZY of all doozy’s – I asked him what albums were better than illmatic- He says, IRONMAN, MOMENT OF TRUTH, **BLACK ALBUM**, READY TO DIE, ETC.( these are all great albums but does it quite match up to illmatic?)

Thinks that Nas is only in Top 10 but not top 5/believes that EM is better than NAS

okay guys this is just a brief. Now its up to you guys to make your own conclusion of why he thinks I am and stillmatic are trash.
This is not an argument of jay vs nas. I have pointed out some points why he thinks I am and stillmatic are trash. He has some ambiguous feeling towards jay so maybe that is because of his dislike of nas Albums.

  12. Bugsytheboss Says:

You know Biggie’s mom was trying to get over. But can you blame him.

Those are big numbers (114,000) for Camran considering he is not with the Rocafella click no more and he is signed to Koch(graveyard for rappers)He is on track to do Mobb Deep numbers(mabe gold) when it all done.

Kanye and Common doing a album??? what would you call it???Soulfood.

  13. steve Says:

Mobb Deep numbers for Cam. Dip set stans get your wet wipes

  14. D. Billz Says:

    Cam is not on Koch.

  15. D. Billz Says:

    Lol @ steve.

  16. jersey Says:

  17. eskay Says:

yeah but look at Mobb’s promotion compared to Cam’s. The guy was on Rikers for alot of the time he shoulda been out promoting the album

THE SHIT TO COLDPLAY WAS A MISTAKE BUT THAT WAS CAUSE I THOUGHT HE WAS COMING AT ME SIDEWAYS LIKE LANDLORDS RACIST ASS

I PERFER ALL THOSE ALBUMS TO ILLMATIC SORRY JUST HOW I FEEL HOW CAN YOU ARGUE THAT I KNOW DUDES WHO DONT GIVE ILLMATIC NEAR THE CREDIT I DO,

AND I AM AND STILLMATIC WERE STILL SUB PAR NAS ALBUMS THEY BOTH LET ME DOWN I HAVE NEVER BEEN LET DOWN BE A JAY-Z ALBUM THATS JUST HOW I FEEL

    * SORRY ESKAY HAD TO BRING IT BACK NOW *

  23. Dumb Nigga Says:

    >>Cam moves just under 114,000 units in his first week.

He’ll probably move around the same amount as Purple Haze. But very close to Bloodmoney numbers though.

  24. Sour D. Says:

i can’t believe cam is doing such good numbers considering the promotion. its insane that everywhere you looked on mtv and bet you heard about mobb deep. all the blogs and hiphop sites. and they sold less than cam. i gotta say, i’m almost getting into it. so many of my boys listen to it, i’m about to just go dl it because the songs are already stuck in my head.

*can’t believe i’m gonna listen to cams album without a gun to my head*

  25. BlaQOuT Says:

Eminem is a dope lyricist, Nas is nasty but people give him more props because he has longevity int he game so I think its more of a respect thing, the best nas albums to me are illmatic ( my favorite album of all time) and It was written, Stillmatic was dope too, I Am wasnt trash….I liked I am but I liked It was written better, Ether was a better Diss record because he focused on jay the whole song, Jay took on a couple of people in takeover, even Jay feelings was hurt after he heard Ether….did yall hear the interview with jay about ether??? he sounded like he was goin to cry….The Blacck album is hot…it just doesnt get the respect because people are hung up on the fact that reasonable doubt is a classic so Reasonable doubt gets more respect even though i listen to reasonable doubt more than the Black album…tyronne i feel what u are saying about the emotion and energy that Eminem brings when he spits But Nobody is goin to ever say he is better than Nas ….even if they think Eminem is better

  26. eskay Says:

    *prepares to sacrifice credibility*

Yo Killa Season is nowhere near as awful as people are making it out to be. Listen to his verse on #10 and tell me that’s not good old pre-nursery rhyme Cam. Like I always say you have to accept Cam for who he is (now) don’t listen to freaking Food and Liquor and then throw on Killa Season and complain about Cam’s content, cuz you’re killing yourself.

  27. DBrown11 Says:

Cam shit is gonna sell more than Blood Money

You know Biggie’s mom was trying to get over. But can you blame him.

Yeh a 1.1 Million Dollars will never add up to Biggies life and what he meant to his mother, and the rap game, I think they should pay her just off the strength that the LAPD had something to do with it….

P.S. Im not mad at Cam’s 1st week album sales….remember hes not on a major record label so hes not gonna have a platinum album…

  29. Dumb Nigga Says:

I ain’t gonna lie though, for some reason when Wet Wipes comes on, i listen to it everytime, same with Suck it Or Not. I have a feeling that most those sales came from Ohio though, considering that he always shouts out various Ohio cities on his songs every once in awhile.

  30. BlaQOuT Says:

Killa Season – Im not mad at the album…I just think a lot of people are in “CAM DUN CHANGED HIS STYLE” mode…Like Eskay said …u have to accept Cam for who he is now…Ur not gonna hear confessions of fire Cam anymore

  31. DBrown11 Says:

Dumb Nigga I definately think its ohio the midwest and down south that will put Cam past mobb deep

  32. BlaQOuT Says:

Either way ….Ohio or Africa or NYC….an album Sale is an album Sale

  33. Dumb Nigga Says:

    @DBrown11

Yeah it probably will, because i actually know alot of people around here that listen to the Diplomats. I know people that actually bought both of Duke Da Gods album!! So basically yeah i think that the midwest and Ohio are gonna make Killa Season sell also, well lets face it he always shouts out Chicago, than he will shout out A BUNCH of Ohio cities, than he’ll shout out the midwest, sometimes i forget he’s from Harlem when he does that.

  34. G Off Says:

Cam is on a major, Warner Bros. The album is entertaining, which is something a lot of cats forget to bring to the table. Cam is still an ass, but you can’t front on his abilities to entertain. I wish he would focus on an album and not put songs that have been on other albums/ mixtapes… I really think he could do bigger numbers if he had someone there to really help him oversee a project, pick a real single, release it at the right time, etc.

  35. DBrown11 Says:

    Youngstown,Cleveland,Cincinatti

  36. Bhopal Says:

    Tam’pon sold that much, really?
Well you do have to factor in Dame buyin about 50,000 copies.

Album was trash. Dipset is trash. How long can these fools keep their head above water.

  37. DBrown11 Says:

I don’t think the album is trash

Cam is on a major, Warner Bros……

When i said he is not on a major, I am saying you can not compare Warner Bros music to a Label like Interscope or Def jam, who else is on Warner anyways, dont Jim Jones have an office position there?…I dont think he wouldve been able to land that anywhere else

  39. eskay Says:

it’s not trash. if you were ever a Cam fan in your life I’d really be surprised if you could honestly listen to that album and say it’s trash. it’s not his best work at all but it’s not awful.

  40. BlaQOuT Says:

    Bhopal
have u listened to the album or r u goin by what u hear from other people?

  41. eskay Says:

uhmmm Warner Music group is a huge label….shit all of Def Jam’s top execs end up there.

  42. BlaQOuT Says:

What artists are on Warner Music group

  43. Dumb Nigga Says:

The album isn’t that bad, it’s probably his worst album yet, but it ain’t bad. I can listen to most the songs(mainly because of beats) and well lets face it, Cams lyrics make you laugh.

  44. tyronebiggums71 Says:

i still havent listened to the album i cant lie i mean i have heard atleast half the shit on mixtapes and i cant think of one of them i really like, im sure there is a couple real entertainng songs on there but i sure as fuck am not gonna buy it and i honestly dont know one person who has bought it ( shit most my boys havent even bothered to give it a listen * and i am in that group *)

  45. DBrown11 Says:

I didn’t buy cam’s album but heard it a few times and its better than I expected

  46. eskay Says:

    >>What artists are on Warner Music group

too many to list here. WMG encompasses Atlantic, Asylum, and a bunch of other labels. Cam is signed to Asylum which is probably the smallest, shittiest of them all, but he still falls under the umbrella of a major.

    http://www.wmg.com/

  47. the Landlord Says:

…Killa Season is worth the purchase..aint no sureshot singles like “Down and Out” (purplehaze), but “Girls, Cash, Cars”, “We Making Change”, “Something New”, “Do Ya Thing-rmx” etc.,etc., all get it poppin…DIPSET…

  48. BlaQOuT Says:

Yeh but what artists are on Warner music group….As in hip Hop platinum selling artists …

  49. BlaQOuT Says:

I dont like the Do ya Thing remix…he shouldve put the original on the album

….the original did have a hotter beat, BUT, im the biggest Earth,Wind & Fire stan on Earth, and Killa had the audacity to sample the group anthem “That’s the Way of the World”…you gotta love it…

    I RESPECT THAT

  52. MadeInMilwaukee Says:

Killa Season is one of those albums that 2-3 months from now your going to forget that it even came out. Kinda entertaining but no longivity. He just not what he just to be. I didn’t care for purple haze that much and I think that it’s a better album.

  53. eskay Says:

    Blaqout:

here are the artists for Atlantic: http://www.atlanticrecords.com/a-z/

plenty of Platinum sellers over there, T.I. being the the most recent

And here are the artists for Asylum:

    http://www.atlanticrecords.com/a-z/

They have Paul Wall, Mike Jones, and people of that nature.

  54. swisstopher Says:

the cam album is okay. i listened to it for a week before i came across some ogc shit from 99 which i’ve been bumpin’ for the past 2 weeks. not to change the subject, but y don’t bcc get bumped??? they still makin’ the same exact music they made in the mid-late 90s.

  55. BlaQOuT Says:

Atlantic is under Warner music group?

  56. eskay Says:

    so is Bad Boy

  57. D. Billz Says:

I’m sorry but I just can’t let go of old memories of an MC (no homo). I mean, when you hear verses like:

    “I go another route
Kidnap your fam’ly, make your brotha eat ya motha out
After I done dug her out
    Needles to drug her out
    Pillows to smother out
You? I gives a fuck about
    I’m what a thug about”

I can never see my purchasing another Cam album… ever.

  58. iLL Change Says:

    >>Yo Killa Season is nowhere near as awful as people are making it out to be.

Yeah yo, Killa Season isnt bad at all, it just isnt crazy dope. hell, at least they keepin NYC on the map, and they are consistent with everything they do, so if dont like them now, you probly never will, just leave it at that. Dipset got unity, they move as a team, and the album aint horrible. the movie, that was horrible tho.

    >>I dont like the Do ya Thing remix…he shouldve put the original on the album

yeah thats what i was sayin when i heard the remix, the original had a cooler beat and more energy to it.

As for the ongoing Biggie trial, theres always somethin foul goin on behind the scenes. what’s next, the LAPD gonna say they found Pac living on island, so they interrogated him and he says puffy put a hit on B.I.G.?

  59. iLL Change Says:

    >>I can never see my purchasing another Cam album… ever.

i bootlegged Killa Season, and i dont plan on buying it either. i still think Come Home With Me is his best album, all the production was fire, all his verses were on point, the whole CD was balanced perfectly, and the title track was john blaze.

  60. Bugsytheboss Says:

Dipshits dont have long before they will be a non-factor. There only hope of anyone in the click going platinum was Camran and it dont look like(114,000 first week) that is going to happen. Now that Cam burnt Juelz Santana bridge with Jiggaman you can bet Juelz will be the next Joe Buttons sitting on the shelf collecting dust next time around when his album comes out. DIPSET is the D4L of New York.

    “Slip-N-Slide…Rocafella…Def Jam…one umbrella”
And I guess everbody is getting rained out, both G-Unit and Dipset. Damn, it like watching true justice being served.

Common, do you still love H.E.R.?

What? Kanye sampled somebody else’s beat. Now that is news to me.

“Snoop dancing around with Pac in a courtroom like the ghetto musical version of Goodfellas.”Oh shit, classic article

That’s pretty bad for even the worse of the po-po.

  64. iLL Change Says:

yo Budden drops in October? thats ill right there. is white boy doin all the production again or is joey goin with big-name dudes? Dipset is the D4L of New York? hah, what are you talking about? the east coast got mad love for Dipset, theyre the ones holding down the mixtape circuit.
