New Outkast: Mighty O
Here’s a sneak preview of the new Outkast song that I understand is getting some play in the ATL today. This is a shitty radio rip, so if you can I would hold out for the crystal clear copy that I expect to leak shortly.

cant really compare the two plug.but i do listen to the love below more.i didnt thin dre could pull it off.but real talk my favorite outkast song is liberation.they put everything into that cut.
May 2nd, 2006 at 7:00 pm
finally some love for the south eskay why you always hatin
i perfer speakerboxx but then again i perfer big boi so there some biased and speakerbox was more hip=hop not that i dont like what dre did and i dont appreciate his attempt at something different but i still perfer big boi
is this really a cee-lo diss ( side note i hate cee-lo ) i never heard of no beef between them and outkast aint exactly the beefing type
May 2nd, 2006 at 7:08 pm
Good Lord, how in the hell did they get this recording? Maybe a tape deck recording from a burnt out car speaker?
May 2nd, 2006 at 7:10 pm
SPEAKERBOXX
GHETTO MUSICK
May 2nd, 2006 at 7:15 pm
Truth be told, on a whole I did not like either of them. This is coming from someone who owns every
Outkast album. I understand it was an expression project, I just prefer the other stuff. I would like to see Dre back to spittin’.
May 2nd, 2006 at 7:29 pm
I think Dre is top 10 all time, but I had to appreciate the last joint from afar. I understood it, and think it’s cool that they could pull it off, but it just wasn’t my thing musically.
May 2nd, 2006 at 7:41 pm
I wouldnt say he top ten but top 20, Yeah I wish too he go back to real spitting cause there are not too many mc’s that can touch him. Erykah badu got some powerful pussy. She must got some voodoo in that thang.
Bout as blue as the sea…
May 2nd, 2006 at 7:41 pm
why are they dissin cee-lo?
i might add i went to coachella this past weekend and i met cee-lo while eating breakfast which was pretty tight
May 2nd, 2006 at 7:56 pm
The Family got word that Cee Lo said in interview with cliquenmove.com that “if it wasnt for Cee-Lo Green, Outkast and DF would be nothing”. This song was recorded in January as a result. This is also part of the reason why Goodie Mob put out there album ” One Monkey Dont Stop No Show”. We aint feeln that Gnarles Barkley Shit either. Fuck Cee Lo for bringing fame to DF’s name in vein.
seriously.
May 2nd, 2006 at 8:18 pm
Esgay these little girls be fighten over who first man this shit is comedy….
May 2nd, 2006 at 8:27 pm
Outkast is cool, but there can only be one Kriss Kross!!
May 2nd, 2006 at 8:36 pm
>> one of my favorite groups of all time.period.they have put out nothing but quality albums from day one.damn im at work and cant listen to it.
Correction, from day one ’til “Stankonia” (which had about 3 good songs). Big Boi’s “Speakerboxxx” was ill as fuck, but “The Love Below” disc was straight up weird. Andre went coo koo.
May 2nd, 2006 at 8:41 pm
Speakerboxx was more hip hop and The Love Below was like some weird like Jimi Hendrix getttin fucked up music…. No comparison really but both are a must have. Im glad they aint kome out like Nelly shit trying to sell 2 different discs at the same time when u kould have put out a double album
May 2nd, 2006 at 8:44 pm

see being so grimey and ghetto like i am, what i did was put my favourite tracks from both cds onto on mix cd and call it “The Love Speakerboxx”… but yeah man i gotta give it up for that liberation track to damn hype, outkast doing it big for years from jump off they been keeping it real nice and i been feeling there hits non stop… my favourite dre verse has to be from gangsta shit tohugh… he tears that track apart
May 2nd, 2006 at 10:03 pm

May 3rd, 2006 at 12:19 am
its not worth buying til its been ripped from the internet and tested first… which is what im doing but the seeder im getting it from has a slow connection so its taking me a pretty minute
May 3rd, 2006 at 1:45 am
OutKast, best group of all time. Cee-Lo most underrated artist of all town, beautiful, can’t wait for the idlewind, I hope the Cee-Lo beef thing is not true, cuz that wouldn’t be goood
May 3rd, 2006 at 2:35 am
that ceelo / dangermouse song “crazy” under the group name “gnarls barkley” is so overplayed in the clubs..
cee lo is getting his fame right now and their single was first single (in the uk atleast) to be #1 through the internet alone as its venue.
so thats pretty special.
May 3rd, 2006 at 5:58 am
Haven’t liked anything since Aqumeni…Southernplayalistik was tight as hell.
ATLiens was a classic..they lost me with Stakonia and that double CD
was straight GARBAGE!!! Big Boi didnt say ONE thing on speakerboxx
worth rewinding…and I’m sorry but Andre is gay and ANYONE who \
disagrees..LMAO…Im not saying he doesnt also like women but he
definately likes men too
May 3rd, 2006 at 6:01 am
For those that dont know Cee-lo wrote that song
for the pussycat dolls..dont you wish your girlfriend
May 3rd, 2006 at 7:54 am
The song is straight fiya, and I’m really lookin’ forward to this shit. Can’t wait!
I really don’t hope this shit about this being a diss is true. It doesn’t really seem like it. Maybe I should listen a bit more to the lyrics. But I’ve been to a Cee-Lo concert, and on that concert he was just saying good shit about the Goodie Mob and OutKast. One of the things he did on that concert was to do Big Gipps verse on Black Ice, he also asked us all if we’ve picked up the first Goodie albums, and he did some shouts outs to OutKast, and ended the concert with putting on Hey Ya…
Parts of the concert were straight solo shit, the other parts were history DF karaoke and shout outs. He mos def didn’t seem like beefing with them at all. But if Cee-Lo really said that shit… was that before Khujo dissed him? If not, it might have been said out of anger and not thinkin’ straight. I dunno.
Peace, N-Jin

I hope that Cee-lo thing ain’t true,. I can believe it but i HOPE it isn’t but if it is….maybe atlanta music will return to that true artistic grimey musical sound, b/c atl music used to be gritty and honest but now…..snap ya friggin fingers.
May 3rd, 2006 at 10:48 am
well urrbody that says Love BElow wasnt the shit…you are sadly mistaken…i see yall dont know what music is… a nicca got to be gay cuz he decides to step out of the box…yall are crazy…The Love Below is one of the few masterpieces that will come along every once in a while…as for Speakerboxxx i don’t know…it was alrite…OutKast is number one when comes to keeping it fresh…some times fresh is weird to other people…yall must not be musicians…i am so i feel it all.
May 3rd, 2006 at 10:51 am
people get lost with their music…cuz they don’t know music….
May 3rd, 2006 at 11:18 am
?
May 3rd, 2006 at 1:04 pm
I love me some OutKast. THe Love Below is still one of my favorite CD’s of all time.
May 3rd, 2006 at 2:24 pm
NOT TRUE!!! The are NOT dissing Cee-lo in this song! I don’t know about otherwise, but this song is DEFINITELY not toward him, and it WAS NOT recorded in January. Big Boi just did his verse 2-3 weeks ago. Dre did his sometime in late March, early April. Squash that rumor now. Oh yeah, I know for a fact that Big Boi LOVES that Gnarls Barkley. Please kill that rumor.

_______________
exactly, cosign that shit
and i doubt that kastis beefing with ceelo. he did have some little beef with goodie after his second solo joint dropped, thats why he isnt on one monkey, but they squashed that shit. he is on the got that purp vol2 tape on 4 or 5 tracks, with all new shit. how is that beef?
i havent heard gnarls barkley yet, but imo dangermouse is overated as hell.
May 4th, 2006 at 1:12 am
anyone else think their spittin sounds different than it used to. different cadence or sumthin
May 4th, 2006 at 1:31 am

outkast stole this songs concept from me! There manager got my cd and said it was tight and said he would give it to la reid! that was bout 4 months later and yesterday i hear this song! go to cd baby.com and look up dura hale, the song is called IN THE KITCHEN,you can also go to my myspace page www.myspace.com/durahale
May 5th, 2006 at 2:46 am

May 5th, 2006 at 1:59 pm
Ha Ha, nice one bill.
May 5th, 2006 at 2:10 pm
But knowing the industry, I wouldn’t doubt it. But your music is cool.
May 5th, 2006 at 4:24 pm
What Bill Flossy said.
BTW Dura, what’s Outkast’s manager’s name that you met and gave the CD and what does he look like? If you can answer that question accurately (cos I happen to know him a little bit), I might be inclined to give your story some credence.
May 6th, 2006 at 4:12 pm
Parliament…Funkadelic…Digital Undaground…Outkast …
Outkast is carrying tha torch when it comes to funkadelicness…
with tha creativeness and tha comic strip themes…
as artists they said and i agree, you cant git caught into stereotypes and always pump tha same style type of music … peeps will be like .. AW MAN, WE ALREADY HEARD THAT … so it’s a catch 22 cuz tha fans will be pissed you didnt come out wit something fresh when you came with a repeat of tha boombap…
let’s let tha artists ..be artist…ic
you get older and grow… so do they …sheeeyid
May 8th, 2006 at 8:33 pm
Interesting that you guys think that ATL has only one sound? Hmm.. that would make you guys limited in the music game. I”m from Houston, and we got all kinds of sounds, styles and representatives..
I on the other hand am open to all of what Outkast put out…I think they define what “art” is.. Too bad, some of you cats are a bit on the young side.. But when you get older, you’ll understand that for anything to live, you gotta keep pushing it.. peace

May 10th, 2006 at 12:26 pm
You can check this song out at Allhiphop.com It’s pretty hot
May 10th, 2006 at 1:49 pm
^^^Just did check it out. They did it big wit this. I’m feelin it. Andre may go off onto his wierd phases but when he puts the pen to the pad he shows up.
June 4th, 2006 at 1:45 am
Dura, you might be on the up and up cos you’re saying the right names and describe Blue pretty accurately but face facts: as you concede, you didn’t write the song you say Outkast ripped off from you so you have about as much of a case of those dudes who tried to sue Luda and Kanye.
Move on fam, you ain’t the first one in hip hop to try and use a Cab Calloway sample anyway. Holla at your boy K7 from like 12 years ago and I think MC Shan even before that!!
June 7th, 2006 at 11:43 am
Andre may be a lil different ,but i dont think he is gay. Its impressive to know that he has more than one style of flow. His music will always be hot to me. As far as Big Boi, i like him too but “speakerboxx” sucked. He doesnt need to do a CD by himsef again untill he get his shit together. The album sounded like he just threw that shit together in 24hrs.
June 11th, 2006 at 10:07 am
