Mobb Deep Loves Jay-Z

mobb-trl.jpg

I know I just did a Mobb Deep post but these little trolls are all over the place this week, what can I say. MTV’s Mixtape Monday spoke to Ballerina P about how he recently met with Jigga to discuss his involvement with the Sam Scarfo project and the former rivals squashed their long running beef. I wonder if Jay had a bunch of money stacks on the chair for Prodigy to sit on so he’d be able see over his desk.

Some people may criticize Prodigy for ending the beef when he never really did get Jay back for Summer Jam, not to mention the fact that his current boss rubbed it in and then sonned him even further by convincing him it wasn’t a dis and signing him. I don’t think Prodigy sees it that way though. Of course, you have to remember that this is the same guy who actually believes that Mobb Deep is now bigger than Jay-Z.

MTV also spoke with Lil Cease about his fight with Maino (he says it was a fair one and the beef is now squashed), his ongoing beef with Cam, Jimmy and Dipset, and the DVD he plans on dropping in June to prove one and for all to the streets that he did not in fact snitch on Kim.

We dont set no boundaries..either we go to the max with shit (lyrics, jewels, sex, clothes) or we dont do the right thing (teachin kids what’s really real in these streets)..If me and you do a crime, you get away and I get knocked and i sign papers IM A SNITCH…if me and you go to a party on the other part of town and some nigga that I know blams you for no reason and I dont tell either my/your/our boys so we can come kill you or I dont tell the cops what happened so they can catch you, lock you up so my niggaz in jail can get at you then IM A FUCKING PUNK…PLAIN N SIMPLE.. niggaz feeding these babies mad swine…these lil niggas need some vegetables man….@ reggae..nothin personal…what a monday already.

  60. reggaetonslasher Says:

el_feces_loco I hear you bro, but that (without drysnitching) was said to protect the person who I was asking for info, as to not implicate himself in an investigation. I am pretty sure, that with all the gun talk, unsolved murders in hip hop, that the powers that be are looking at it like a slap in the face when things are done so blatantly. Best believe that what is said is being monitored…There are certain words when said on the phone, or when typed in alerts the CIA. like the word Bush for example, it triggers a sequence of events that allows the forum to be monitored (patriot act). Im sure this is done on a smaller level, with local enforcement.

What you simple minded losers don’t understand (not your fault) is that people move forward in life. They are not living like they were 10-12 years ago and are that much older. They have travelled the world, don’t live in the hood no more, are doing huge things, have families, have businesses, take care of people, are tryin to make millions, etc, etc, etc, etc….and they gotta listen to you sayin “your flow is not that hot anymore!”. man…shut the fuck up! If you’re still doing the exact same things you were doing 10-12 years ago, you’re a fuckin waste!! It means you have not moved forward at all.

All you people can do is sit in front of a computer and dis niggas. If you’re 20-21 you have certain priorities…if you’re 30-31 you have others!

    HIPHOP101:
THAT WAS THEN THIS IS NOW

you’re still livin in “then” I guess!! Move forward you lame fucks! You don’t have to like them, but you can’t dis people that don’t make moves that you would make. You don’t know why they are making those moves. How they live, how they think, what they got going on in life, why they make certain decisions….that’s why I said you’re simple minded. You can’t see the big picture, but only look at shit through your small eyesight. And that’s also why I said it’s not your fault. Not everybody gets to leave their hood and see new shit and make a bit of money and get to taste a different style of living…..but at least be smart enough to shut up when you don’t know shit!!

Anyway, I don’t fuck with these dudes music anymore but I think people are neglecting to see the positive that comes from this. Jay and Pee P have reconciled whatever differences they had in the past. Though it isn’t significant as the Big Homie/Little Homie movement, it’s a step forward for progress in NYC. And hats off to Maino and Cease-a-leo for settling their beefs like men. No crews and no guns involved. Niggas scrapped it out and kept it moving. That’s how it’s supposed to be.

If you’re a solo artist, I can see having some G unit sprinkled here and there. But if you’ve put out whole cd’s by yourselves like Mobb Deep, common sense should’ve told them niggas to stick to the script. I’m so tired of niggas joining crews and their whole albums becoming basically collabo projects for the whole entire crew.

This is exactly what I’m sayin….they said that shit when they were simple minded too!! Thinking that was all they wanted in life!! Now they have realized that life ain’t just that, but that there’s much more!! You should learn from that. What you think now may be right to a certain extent. Wait til you experience more shit.
When you were a kid and you got a new gi joe or whatever, you thought life was dope! Now you look at it and say “I was so SIMPLE MINDED!”…same shit in this case!

I understand that their music is not the same anymore. Trust me, for the first time I’m actually wondering if I should buy their new album or not! I know that they’re light years away from Infamous, Hell On Earth, etc…and a part of me is upset also, but knowing all the other shit and considering that my life goes on regardless, I’m not gonna sit here and dis them all day. They gave a lot to Hip Hop, now I gotta sit here and dis them and the decisions they make in life (even in their personal life - squashin beef with jay z) cause I don’t like their new shit or who they hang with?! Nigga DO YOU! My life goes on. I got mad shit to take care of and think about. That’s why I said you’re simple minded…meaning, these are the things that move you.

    ^nah it’s over

    >>Damn this mobb thread went platinum in 3 & 1/2 hours

^yeah and this nigga Truth is talking about I shouldn’t be hating. seriously like what the fuck else would I post about? I post something with substance and it goes wood, so fuck it we’ll just hate. (of course when I say hate I don’t mean it, cuz I’;m not a hater, but that’s what the people who don’t understand will call it so fuck it)

  102. D. Billz Says:

“If you live in Georgia, you can get them from the Tim Outlet out GA400 for about $50.”

Yo, good lookin’ out chief. I’ve been wantin’ to take a trip to ATL this year, so now I definitely got a reason to go (other than seeing the women, of course). I’m gonna try and get about 4 pairs. It’s good when you can go out of state and cop stuff because fashion varies regionally. When I was in Pasadena, CA in ‘04, I copped some exclusive, rare color Barkley’s for $40 from this boutique near Melrose. I saw Pos from De La in the same spot.

  103. D. Billz Says:

“I post something with substance and it goes wood, so fuck it…”

I dumbed down for my audience to double my dollas…

It’s true, niggas don’t like to be informed of anything relevant to society. I hate to sound cliche`, but if you wanna hide something from a Black person put it in a book. I’m not talkin’ about all of yall, just speakin’ in general.

    *B More Nubian*

  104. Sour D. Says:

yeah, no one cares about a good thread. at least lupe’s last couple threads blew up. probably only cause of haters.

i think the only way mobb deep can lose any more respect (if there’s any left), is by either doing a song with britney spears, or a reggaeton song. corny motherfuckers.

  105. eskay Says:

“I dumbed down my posts to double my hits, ya’ll criticize me for it but ya’ll still click…”

  106. Bugsytheboss Says:

Stoping hATIN SOUR DICK and congradulate some New York rappers coming up. BLOODMONEY is a sure shot (platinum) and anyone beg to differ just dont know the rap game and probably lives in a small town.

  107. MaddenMaster Says:

It was no real beef, Jay gave that nigga a two banger he has yet to recover from the shit was funny and that was it…. If every beef gets peaced up then whats going to be the reason to hate them kids then??? From a business stand point signing Mobb Deep to the Unit is a smart fucking move because they production style is CRAZY and nobody can deny that!!!! This album will put them back where they should be and I peace in hip hop…..Naw but that shit sounded funny though!! hahahahahahaha

  108. eskay Says:

oh man, I can not wait until next week’s Soundscan numbers are in…

  109. Sour D. Says:

ok bugsy. i’m sure they’ll go plat. and ill be fucking jessica alba in the ass the same day. they used to be one of my favorite groups. they WERE AMAZING. now they’re just another gimmick. they’re even worse than the rest of gunit for how hard they ride 50’s dick. i mean they openly said that they don’t do anything without his permission. that shit is corny as fuck. its not like they said, he’s a musical genious and we respect his word. they said “if he says we can make a song with someone, we will, if he says we can sell a beat to someone, we will”. he’s not helping there creativity, he’s controlling there dollars. and for a historic group like mobb deep, to openly be sonned by a nigga, is disgusting for all of there long time fans to here. i’m sure blood money will probably be the first mobb album you’ve ever listened to bugsy. and i can’t wait for blood money to flop.

  110. Bugsytheboss Says:

Why Esgay so you can run and hide after BLOODMONEY comes in #1. You the biggest hater should know they going to do numbers just by all the Mobb Deep Posts you putting up on these niggas(dickrider) and if you were a fan before you might wanna go grab a copy for yourself from what im hearing its a classic album.

  111. Plug industries AKA the Regulator Says:

Bugsytheboss must have a different Blood Money than me cause aint no way that going platinum.

  112. The Truth... Says:

HIPHOP101: THATS ALL GOOD, BUT YOU CANT USE A GHOST AND RAE LINE TO STICK UP FOR MOBB DEEP.

?!?!?!?!?!!?! Shut the fuck up! How does what you said even make sense?!?! ig’nant ass…

“I dumbed down my posts to double my hits, ya’ll criticize me for it but ya’ll still click…”

That’s what Mobb Deep is doing, but they’re wack for doin it!! And to show I follow through with what I say, I noticed this spot ain’t the same as before (for the reason eskay mentioned above) but I didn’t start dissin it all of a sudden…I just check it less often now…I’m sure eskay has his reasons.

It’s all good. I’m not hatin on any of y’all….I just don’t like free hate being thrown around.

    1.

  113. Dumb Nigga aka Milk Money Says:

Fuck it, i aint getting into another Gay-unit arguement!

Yes, we will just have to see when soundscan numbers come in! But really do you actually think Mobb Deep apeals to the mainstream? If Tony Yayo didnt, what makes you think Mobb will?

  114. eskay Says:

    >>I noticed this spot ain’t the same as before (for the reason eskay mentioned above) but I didn’t start dissin it all of a sudden…I just check it less often now…I’m sure eskay has his reasons.

    That’s not hate?!?!?!

I don’t know if it’ll go platinum, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it did. I’ll probably end up copping it just cause it’s Mobb and out of respect to them and what they’ve done. I don’t hate….

  116. The Truth... Says:

  122. Bugsytheboss Says:

  124. eskay Says:

yo Bugsy, that Mobb Deep is actually kind of good…

  125. Dumb Nigga aka Milk Money Says:

I really doubt Bloodmoney’s even going platinum anyways. One of my homies(who’s a fucking g-unit stan) even said himself that he dont like Mobb Deep. And he’s got fucking every g-unit cd that came out so far(including Yayo’s)

  126. Joe 88 Says:

  128. Sour D. Says:

The Truth, i’m not hating on them. how can the fact that i dont want to see something that i think is a disgrace to a legacy succeed. i’m not mad at mobb just for signing to gunit. its what they’ve become. before i got to listen to the album, they became media whores. talking up 50 like he’s not even there boss but their straight father. they made it clear that he has all creative control on the situation. my personal favorite rapper right now is pap. if he got signed to gunit, i probably wouldn’t be too upset. but if he walked around saying, “i’ll make songs with who 50 says”, it would kill his chances of me buying his album. he would’ve made it very clear that 50 was in control of his album.

  129. D. Billz Says:

    @ The Truth

I don’t get it chief. You admitted that their quality of music isn’t the same and that they’re using gimmicks to promote/sell their album. Yet, you’re saying that someone else acknowledging these facts are “hating”, and that you’re still gonna cop the album. When you buy into someone else’s movement and you don’t agree with what they’re doing, then you’re a hypocrite as well. That would be the definition of a “stan”. Someone who overlooks the negativity a person exemplifies only to defend what’s on the surface. Why would you support something that you don’t believe in?

  130. Plug industries AKA the Regulator Says:

*pisses on the blood money cd *

    *puts cd in Bugsytheboss’ mailbox*

  131. Bugsytheboss Says:

I can’t wait for next weekeSGAY, i wish i could see your dumb face expression when they come in #1 on the billboard charts(mind u there is no competition next week as far as new releases go)knowing your haTING ass you will put some silly shit up about how 50 bought all there cd’s for them

  132. Sour D. Says:

speaking of pap. hey es, i know you mentioned the other day how kay slay uses old songs without changing the beat and says produced by kay. i always knew it, but shit, on his new mixtape he got like 4 songs produced by kay all ripped off Light FM. that shit is hilarious.

Cause I ain’t no ungrateful motherfucka! Like I said before, they did a lot for Hip Hop and their music motivated me during the years. I appreciate all of that…14-15 bucks ain’t shit. You a hater…and I don’t want to be like you. You paid 3 bucks? Bootleg?! Fuck outta here….you’re a fag.

Truth be told, I am kind of hoping Jay goes in another direction. I wish he would do more joints like he did with Dead Prez or the Kweli remix. He’s got it in him.

  141. HIPHOP101 Says:

not the whole joint he had some joint on there i banged but not followin after rd

  142. Bugsytheboss Says:

“… this way, he’ll know he fucked up and hopefully bring it back to what he was.”

That’s true too….but as much as I’m not down with the whole gunit thing, I don’t think the album is gonna be complete garbage. I haven’t downloaded that shit and I haven’t heard it. I buy mad music (I support Hip Hop and I can truly say it cause I love it….how many of y’all can say that?!) so I’m gonna probably buy it anyway….If it’s wack, I’ll be the first to say it’s wack. But I’ll be upset cause Mobb made a wack album, not cause I gave them my 14 bucks…they have put in a lot of work and it really ain’t easy to do what they’ve done in their career…they deserve that money, considering also how much I’ve enjoyed their music in the past.

    @D. Billz

im sure the album is not going to be far from that one, im startin to think you like them nigaas personal, for get the music, what’s really good?

  146. D. Billz Says:

I fucks with Vol. 1… it’s Vol. 3 that I can’t fuckin’ stand. That was the most commercial album he put out. The down-south shits with Juvi and UGK, the obvious radio joint with Mariah, the “Put Your Hands Up” w/ Beans for the club (I like that song but it was still madd commercial), the It’s Hot joint (”I’m about a dolla, what the fuck is fifty cent?”) was iight. I’m sorry, but that’s one Hov album that doesn’t get played in mi casa.

  147. Sour D. Says:

your saying we’re on a bandwagon you idiot? your riding with the top selling label right now. your endorsing everything they put out. its not like we chose mobb deep cause they ride with gunit, so does em, and so long as his shit is better than his last album, i’ll buy his next one. its the content. your listening to beats and shit, we’re listening to mobb deep and we’re hearing silence. i heard the album, and i’m trying to send these dudes an invoice for 20 minutes of my life. garbage.

and HIPHOP101, vol 1 is off the hook.

  148. Dumb Nigga aka Milk Money Says:

    http://xxlmag.com/online/?p=1026#comments

And if thats considerd gutter and street track, then Bow Wow must be a considerd a gangsta rapper now.

  149. HIPHOP101 Says:

    @Sour D
i think that cause we missed biggie, im not sayin it was a new mobb deep album, lol.
but wasnt one of my best.

  150. D. Billz Says:

    “@D. Billz

If you knew me, you would not put my name and “stan” in the same sentence…real talk.”

  151. Joe 88 Says:

    @billz
I’m not no jay-z stan but vol 3 had a few bangers on it nymp, come & get me, Watch me feat dr dre, so ghetto, S.carter well now that i think about it it was his worst solo effort.

  152. Dumb Nigga aka Milk Money Says:

  157. D. Billz Says:

  158. Plug industries AKA the Regulator Says:

Truth, thats the dumbest thing I ever heard. This Niggas is rich. “so they say”. And to make them more richer youare going to by a cd that you yourself dont think is sweet. If any one is a fag it’s YOU. Now stop with the name calling. That’a a bitch move because you know you sound dumb.

Thats like wearing a Cross Colors shirt because it used to be hot. I dont buy shit if it aint hot. I don’ tsupport wack music.

Oh yeah i’ve heard their so called bangers. And they were trash. Put em in their place? Only thing good about that song is the beat. Prodigy’s lyrics are trash now. And Havoc is only sticking around with P because he’s a idiot and feels sorry for him all becuase P’s got sickle cell.

Hey maybe if P goes on TRL and tells the audience that he’s got sickle cell anemia, they might feel bad for him and buy his cd!?

Oh and i posted 2 tracks not on moron. And have a parties on it, so that makes 3 poppy tracks that you know of.

  161. D. Billz Says:

“If I knew I was talkin to people who actually like eminem, I wouldn’t even have replied once….”

This guy is attempting to use the most futile rebuttals for his arguments… just give up mannn. You know what chief? Just go and cop Mobb, fuck it. I mean, like you mentioned, you loooove hip hop. You love it so much that you go out and buy mad albums, as you already mentioned. I hope you, Mobb, 50, and everyone else has an everlasting relationship. Maybe one day you’ll be lucky enough to street team for them and hang posters up. Or maybe you’ll get the chance to give L-m-n-o P Pee a pound and pass out like Mi Jac fans used to do. Either way, I hope your destiny is fulfilled in the $14-16 (9.99 at Best Buy if you’re smart) that you’re about to spend.

I mean, your name is The Truth… what you say must be valid, right?

  162. D. Billz Says:

  168. Dumb Nigga aka Milk Money Says:

Oh and Pearly Gates is trash. All it is, is Mobb Deep and 50 trying to sound athiest. But thats already been done by plenty of underground artists.

  169. Plug industries AKA the Regulator Says:

I only like two songs on the Mobb album. One of them is the one wit yayo. I can remember the days when I couldnt wait to go to damon’s (local music store)to cop a Mobb cd. Niggas would skip school just to ride aroud bumpin that fire. Now look these dude look like nerds.

  170. Jamz Says:

Mobb Deep hasn’t been tight for many years, so why is everyone so shocked by this new album being luke warm at best? Falling off and/or having wack albums seems to be part of the industry process?

  171. Joe 88 Says:

    @plug
I know what you mean. The last mobb album i bought was infamy & boy was i dissapointed. I listen to it time to time……. for a good laugh.

“…you loooove hip hop. Either way, I hope your destiny is fulfilled in the $14-16 (9.99 at Best Buy if you’re smart) that you’re about to spend.”

You’re a clown. This whole time I’ve been speaking like a mature person, making serious points, and this is what you have to say? You’re wack… I hope for your sake you’re 14 years old or you got more serious shit to worry about than the Mobb album….

And the only reason why I’m considering buying their album is because I don’t know that it’s wack. I never said that cause I haven’t heard it. That’s what you losers said….I don’t think the gunit thing is cool, but that alone can’t make me say that their shit is wack now.

Plug industries AKA the Regulator….you’re still a clown.

  183. Joe 88 Says:

    @plug
you forgot about free agents the mixtape. are those ratings 1 threw 5 or 1 threw 10?

    @bugsy
you keep talking bout wait till the real shit come out like you heard the real bloodmoney. GTFOH

  184. HIPHOP101 Says:

why does p say hoe’s like that, he says like somebody else, somebody help me out?

  185. Bugsytheboss Says:

50 got to put his platinum touch on it or it woulnd’t be a G-UNIT album. And everybody yelling that Mobb Deep aint what they used too. Shit none of these rappers are like they used too.the mobb just got smart and made a bizness move with 50 and now they got the most money and exposer they ever had(you see they wrist and chain)so as a TRUE mobb deep fan im happy for them but you backpack lovers mixtape bootleg buyers (milk & honey can’t afford the real cd)just hate the UNIT but you same haters are the ones keeping them in the limelight

  186. HIPHOP101 Says:

if 50 ghostwrites will it show on the credz

  187. Joe 88 Says:

alot of rappers arent what they use to be i.e 50 cent. HAHAHAHA

  188. Plug industries AKA the Regulator Says:

Joe, 1 thru 5 five as hot.

    Free agent 3/12

    imfamous Mobb 4

  189. Sour D. Says:

man all ya’ll got problems. i think me and others on here are bigger mobb deep fans than you. you are stans. a fan can admit when they’re artist has gone in a direction different from what originally generated their popularity. your sticking with them because “your true mobb deep fans”? come on. i don’t believe that for a second. a mobb fan would know that blood money is nothing close to infamous. and its not that they’ve grown up, its that they care more about money than music. and great for them, they been grinding for a while. they’re just making it too obvious and sonning themselves in the process. you can say what you want. i know they won’t sell, and if they do, it doesn’t make their album any better.

  190. 50's dick Says:

Hey guys I taste like a lolipop, and there is a candy shop full of me. Bugsy and Luis know’s that. But seriously I need some other fish to top me off bugsy, You are good and all and your tongue is wonderful, but I am just tired of you. You dont brush your teeth anymore and when you start to pleasure me I can feel your hot stank breath, and thats why sometimes I go limp. I’ve got some g-unit toothpaste that you can try. But haven’t you had enough or are you addicted to me and my juice? You might need to go to D.J anonymous (dick juice). I dont mean to hurt your feelings. toodles.

  191. Joe 88 Says:

    ^agree wit Sour D

  192. Bugsytheboss Says:

50 aint sonning nobody its just G-UNIT is like a gang. Once you in its for life and if you can’t handle the heat (Game)get out the kitchen. And if you say they change their style for money you got DAMN right. If they want to make music for the hood they would put out a mixtape but this is a real studio LP(hiphop is a bizness first) made to appeal all over not just get a buzz in the burbs and trailer parks where most of you on here live(joe88,tyronnebiggums,dumbnigger)

  193. Sour D. Says:

bugsy, since when are hood lp’s made for the burbs? i gotta say bugsy, your like an automatic gunit responce machine. you give the same argument. its a movement, they’re making music for the world. great, let them make music for germany. until they start making that ny fire, they’re all fucking wack to me. and dog, you live in america right? why do you care that they make globally accepted material. these people are not michael jackson. not to say they shouldn’t shoot for mass appeal, but jay does it in a very respectful manner to the hiphop game. these dudes are making very marketable pop music. which is a shame cause they won’t even be able to market mobb sleep to sell a mill. which is standard for gunit. not even if they ride amtrack from ny to la.

  194. Bugsytheboss Says:

    Sour D says
but jay does it in a very respectful manner to the hiphop game.

Shut the fuck up with that jay talk cuzz jigga aint never sold 11mil on one record nor has Memphis Bleek or any of his artist on rocafella could go platinum but damn near all of G-UNIT’s roster went platinum(banks,buck,50,Game).Dont you get it?? are you slow??? they are on a whole nother level when it comes to this rap shit(world tours, private shows, endorsements, movies, clothing & shoe line etc). And if you ask any other rap group they would love to be in their position(the lox, dipset, ruffriders, etc)

  195. Joe 88 Says:

^^Does 50 wood need a car alarm on it or what.

  196. Bugsytheboss Says:

YOU GUYS KNOW I’M GAY, THATS WHY I LIKE BOOLD MONEY

  197. tyronebiggums71 Says:

^^^ ok see now that makes sense

  198. Bugsytheboss Says:

JOe88 i didn’t mean to expose where you live(greengarden trailer park space B section 169)but dont get mad cuzz my comments make sense and you guys sound like a run on sentence who can’t give a good enough excuse why you don’t like BLOODMONEY(you know its hate when the album hasent even came out yet)except becuzz 50 cent is behind it.

  199. Sour D. Says:

ok, 50 has sold a total of 15 million records through his career. he’s got two more albums coming that will sell 4 mill each MAX. now i dont’ know how much jay has sold cause quite honestly, i’ve never had to use the sales thing in arguments as much as i have with your arrogant ass, but if eskay would be nice enough to post jay z’s lifetime sales, it would kill gunits propectus. you stay using that 11 mill in sales shit but you don’t mention how the assacre sold less than half of that. in 2 years, gunit will be a worthless name. jay is 10 years strong in the game (rapping only). in fact, i personally am gonna go find out right now how much he sold to make you look even more like the asshole you are.

  200. Sour D. Says:

hey Es, what website shows record sales. i know you posted one a while back but i never added it to my fav list.

  201. jimmy bias Says:

cmon fam. no rappers sound as they did when they was hungry, it ain’t even the same situation. you just gotta hope the movement dont go to far to the left (ie. nas), MOBB still keep it somewhat G, even though they have taken alot of lumps and made some questionable moves. but theres a difference to me between not being same as before and being straight ass (no homo). I dont see MOBB as falling outta complete hood status and GUNIT does make mo bangers than any other crew no matter what niggaz wanna say. if it wasnt for the unit, shit would be boring

  202. Bugsytheboss Says:

G-UNIT vs old ROCAFELLA. first of all there is no more roc unless you count Kanye West(fashion model) cuzz jigga is busy at a desk nut slurping L.A. Reids every word and i heard Damon Dash got 30 mil for saleing the roc. But can you name any other rocafella artist that went platinum besides kanye or Cam

  203. Sour D. Says:

jimmy, i’m not saying gunit don’t make popular songs. they just don’t make songs to my liking. they do stir up alot of conversation and i will give them that. but there’s so little lyrical content hidden behind those sick beats and production. and dudes definitly sound different when they’re not hungry anymore. but you can always tell when something sounds forced. being a pap fan i can admit that the single he’s trying to get to blow up “get right” sounds forced and is straight garbage. very similar to blood money. they just fell off in my eyes. and i know i’m not crazy cause alot of people agree.

  204. Joe 88 Says:

    Where do you live bugsy?

  205. Sour D. Says:

somebody, please come through with a link to a website that shows album sales. i’m dyin to make these niggas feel stupid.

  206. Bugsytheboss Says:

How can you make anybody feel stupid one album=11 mil records sold. case closed end of discussion. And for Sour D you dont have to like all they music just respect they movement and hustle. And you wanna complain about lyrics, turn on the radio sometimes and you will hear a hyphy bass-beat with down south slow garbage lyrics. So if you are going to have mainstream music i rather hear G-UNIT over Dem Franchise boys,D4L,Bubba Sparks(anyother wack downsouth artist)anyday

  207. Plug industries AKA the Regulator Says:

sour, urban connects but it wont post til wendsday

  208. Sour D. Says:

now we definitly agre. i’d rather hear 50 sing best friend than hear D4L. kinda like choosing be burned alive or hung to death. joe asked a good question bugs, where you from?

  209. Sour D. Says:

good looks plug, i’m hoping they got old albums on here, thats what i’m looking for now.

  210. Bugsytheboss Says:

Im from L.A. so i speak from a big city perspective. So when you think something is hot im hear to tell you what the mass majority thinks is hot

  211. Sour D. Says:

bugsy, although i no longer live in bk, i’m there almost more than i am in jerz, and i’ll tell you my side of town, definitly don’t feel gunit. thats the last shit you’ll hear playing. none of them dudes care about sales cause they get there cd’s on the corner. they care about content, and as far as gunit goes, there is none. but whatever. thats my opinion, i can’t sit here arguing all day about the same thing over and over again. i understand you feel gunit. but i thought even a gunit stan with some common sense on hiphop, would not appreciate the direction that mobb sleep went in. but i guess you can’t dislike anything with a gunit label on it. pretty sad.

  212. OSoSexyJessica Says:

I dont Care what anybody says But I love mobb deep i dont care if jay-z, Tupac or Nas diss them I still im a fan. And Yes Tomorrow I will be gittin Blood Money and listen to it , and put them with the rest Of My Mobb Cd’s.

  213. Plug industries AKA the Regulator Says:

Bugsey only likes G Unit because Dre’s involved.

  221. Lili Says:

    E from BK:
Truth be told, I am kind of hoping Jay goes in another direction. I wish he would do more joints like he did with Dead Prez or the Kweli remix. He’s got it in him.

Yea I hear that…I was bumping that “Hell Yeah” remix constantly after I first heard it…Jigga completely won me over with that verse.

Record sales do not necessarily provide credibility in an argument

    example: 50 cent

  223. Sour D. Says:

blackrob, where you get all this info at?

  224. Jamz Says:

Yep, Jay-Z could definitely help the positive underground katz get some deserved recognition. I actually think that has crossed his mind?

  225. blackrob Says:

    Recording Industry Association of America

    www.RIAA.com

streets in watching went plat too

  226. Bugsytheboss Says:

50 cent Get Rich or Die tryin=11 mill
    the Massacre=4mil
    2 albums=14 mil
i still dont get your point and jigga didnt catch fire untill “can i get a” came out with Ja rule guest appearance(how gay is that) and dont forget that singing ass anny song(commercial ass fuck). If 50 drops as many albums as jigga did he will sale twice as much as him.

  227. Sour D. Says:

this idiot is saying “its a hard knock life” is a commercial song. dude, do you even listen to music? i mean i wasn’t feeling the hook but come on. that shit was hot.

come on bugsy, look at the state of hip-hop right now. When D4L’s laffy taffy single goes 3x platinum then there is something wrong. Does that mean that’s a hip-hop classic? hell no. Does that mean they’re better than somebody like joe budden who’s first album only went gold? Not a chance.
And how can you come at me about singing? Look at 50 all he does is sing nowadays he sold out now he’s got the sales

  229. Sour D. Says:

  236. T. Okes Says:

    word @ blackrob…

after readin’ through some of these comments I was dyin’ to say that 50’s album sold 6 mill domestically and 11mill worldwide.

  237. Bugsytheboss Says:

    Blackrob says
come on bugsy, look at the state of hip-hop right now. When D4L’s laffy taffy single goes 3x platinum then there is something wrong.

my point exactly so if you had to listen to commercial rap would you wanna hear shake my “laffy taffy” or “lets have a party” and at least have the potential to come up with a street jam (unlike D4l)G-UNIT is the hottest mainstream gangsta rap going on right now.And once again worldwide or U.S. sales aint no rapper doing 1.1mil in a short week(not even jigga)so that right there
