Here’s a new joint from DJ Khaled’s upcoming album Listen, featuring Beanie Sigel and Jadakiss. I’m pretty sure both Beans verses are recycled but the Kiss bars sound fresh.

Lil Cease was arrested yesterday in Brooklyn after cops stopped the vehicle he was riding in with a couple of friends. A search of the car turned up, of course, marijuana and Cease was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
It seems that after avoiding an attempted murder conviction and getting away with a weapons posession charge and probation, he thought it was a good idea to skip out on a probation hearing. Cease-a-Leo will be cooling his heels on Rikers until at least Monday when he goes to court.

New fire from Lupe Fiasco. Oh my lord this kid is the truth. I only recently heard parts II and III of his Farenheit 1/15 mixtape series and I almost killed myself for sleeping so long. Anyway this is a track off his upcoming album Food and Liquor.

When Mixtape Awards founder Justo Faison was killed last year in a tragic car accident, there was alot of doubt and speculation over whether or not the show would continue. I’m glad to announce that the Awards will happen this year and voting is now open at the official website.
This year will mark the 11th anniversary of the awards that Faison created to pay tribute to the mixtape dj’s and artists that play such an enourmous roll in bringing new music to fans and maintaining hip hop’s connection to the streets.
Award categories include: Best East Coast, West Coast, and Dirty South Mixtape DJ’s, Best Underground Artist on a Mixtape, and Mixtape of the Year. At last years awards, Green Lantern, Jadakiss and Papoose won big, while P Diddy walked away with the The Mixtape Top Executive & Lifetime Achievement Award.
