This is so vintage. Yo-yo, M.C. Lyte, Treach, The Fu-Schickens, Das Efx, Wu-Tang, A Tribe Called Quest, KRS-One, Mad Lion, CL Smooth, and Guru freestyling on the final episode of The Arsenio Hall Show.

Treach was “the dude” when OPP came out, but now people know him as the guy who got shot in the azz on Sopranos. Just like Lord Jamar was known – not for Brand Nubian – but for having an allergic reaction as “Supreme Allah” of Oz (and being on Sopranos also). Of course, with a new record coming out, things may change…
Mad Lions throat HAD to hurt after that. After seeing MC Lyte recently at the hip hop summit, she HAD to find the fountain of youth. KRS’ verse was wack. I’m remembering how I could NEVER understand really what Treach was EVER talking about (but NBN used to be the SHIT). I heard that CL Smooth was dead, is that true?
That’s funny cuz I had this post in draft since Sunday (saving it for a rainy day) and I got tight when I saw Spine had posted it last night. Then I saw it was stickied on the AHH boards so I said fack it lemme post this before somebody else does…
