    Though the marijuana piece is actually more about drug free zones and snitches, it’s a reminder that the legalization of marijuana is a cause worth fighting for. It really is time for the so called “hip hop community” to make this a real issue.

    If a cop smells pot, or claims to, he can use that to fuck with people. If it’s legal, he can’t.

    Pot is a gateway drug, all right, a gateway for police abuse.

    in brooklyn last year some cop got killed because he was chasing a kid smoking a blunt. when they asked the kid why he shot the cop, he said he didn’t wanna go to jail for pot. the cop was either undercover or off duty. it makes no fucking sense. i don’t feel remorse for that cop, not even a little. but because this kid wanted to smoke, it resulted in killing a cop, when once again, he could’ve laughed off a $250 ticket.

    i dunno if you guys knew this (reed in particular) but people who are actually involved in real crime and are real “gangsters” that “cant be fucked with”, dont go around running their mouth. If you were satisfied with your level of power and clout in the industry and in your life you wouldn’t feel the need to imply you are above others, you would have achieved a level of self satisfaction with your abilities. Quite frankly this speaks volumes of insecurities that are underlying due to social development.

    He knew the risks in the game and didn’t pretend to be above them, smart man, eventually getting caught like all real criminals do. But since people like “Reed Dollaz” aren’t actually real criminals they have to create entertaining fictions for us so that we will respect them, because their abilities don’t garner any kind of respect or appreciation from anyone.

I mean you can make it into a rhyme if that helps you feel better about what you’re saying and doing, but point is, the police aren’t going to look the other way when you are talking about commiting crimes, and it’s dumb to play cat and mouse with the police because they get paid either way and don’t give a shit about you.
