Back last year, I got a call to work on a low budget "dip set" video. Mad people were working for free to help the director who was getting his reel together. In fact I stayed up all night and rolled into Shadow Studios on 18th st. where it was shot in black slacks and shoes. Tired as fuck, I set up all the chairs and tables as I was a "prop assistant" for the classroom shot. Yeah I was a reck, out all night, liquer and trees still circulating in me. So when I saw the god come thru the front door, I seriously could not belive my eyes....I pressed palms with the god, and looked him in the face with infinite respect. ( I was 11 when Paid in Full dropped, and pretty much have ingraved in my mind the lyrics of every track off of every LP since) He hardly cracked a smile, yet the respect was more than evident. I was 5 feet from Ra when we greeted Julez and said, and I quote "Sup, wanted to come down and let you know you doin ya thing.
