Rakim To Work With Dipset?

rakim_01.jpg

This seems like the kind of inflammatory post that will spawn 700 comments. XXL has part 1 of a two part Rakim interview up and a couple of statements from the god jumped out at me:

Are you a Dipset fan?
No doubt. I like the Diplomats’ swagger, man. Juelz, Cam’ron, Jim Jones—they bring a lot of swagger back to the game. New York needs somebody right now to hold New York down.

So when will there be a Rakim/Diplomats collaboration?
Probably soon, man. They one of the cats in the game that I got a lot of respect for, music respect and street respect as well. And when I do do collabos, it’s gotta be respect. I’m not doing it because they sell records or just because they own a certain part of the market. I call ’em “smart collabos” because at the end of the day they makes sense. I don’t want people do be like, Why did Ra do a joint with this dude?…(cont’d)

Damn, Flav, Kane, now Rakim. I had no intention of this being old school day at Nah Right, but what the hell.

were you hating when he signed with dre, a guy who when he came out personified/created being a “drug dealing gangbanger on wax”?

Yo Eskay, we really need to get a running post on what “hating” is. Just because I don’t like their music don’t mean I’m hating. It’s just their music is wack. I don’t care if Big and Pac were raised from the dead and to a joint with Dipset. They are still wack. No hate.

  20. tyronebiggums71 Says:

  47. SoundNexx Says:

Rakim has been trying to find a new home in hiphop for a minute, especially since the Aftermath thing fell through! Many dudes have found a place to rest their heads and make money while working on a master plan. Snoop went to No Limit, MOP, Mase & MobbDeep went with G-Unit, Ol’ Dirty signed with Tha Roc, etc. The real question is, will this effect the music that Rakim puts out? Will he be the same Rakim from the early days, or the new potentially wack reincarnation?
Rakim is no good to anyone not putting out music……

Rakim is a legend, and it would be difficult for most real heads to forget his contributions to hiphop if he drops a couple of wack albums in the future?

  48. eskay Says:

    >>NYC DONT KNOW HIP HOP IF HE TALKIN BAD ABOUT THE R

I think we established a long time ago that he don’t know hip hop

  49. eskay Says:

SoundNexx, I don’t think it’s that serious, he’s just considering a song or two, not a Dipset deal. (God can you imagine?)

  50. zoid Says:

^^ nah that would be like diggin your own grave … at least for respect

  51. eskay Says:

completely off topic, and I really don’t want to turn this into a east vs south thread, but:

Dem Franchize Boyz On Top Of Our Game 28,634 -9 31,472 315,550

That’s all DFB have pushed since the dropped? 315,000? And those are the big radio play getting, commercial ass niggas….so what exactly is the south running again?

  52. The Truth... Says:

now for my comment on the issue… i feel what hes saying with him respecting dipset for there street cred and music respect, cause as much as i see them as bubble gum rappers, they still hold down there area to the fullest… but as far as working with them, its like he’s stepping his game down and that aint right… makes me sad to think he’s been working with talib for the “Getting Up” game with marc ecko and now he’s gunna be sharing tracks with the likes of a guy whos top ad-lib is a letter

  59. E From BK Says:

Okay, I made it home. After my drive on I 285, driving through my picturesque College Park neighborhood, I had some time to thing about this. I said to myself, self, have any of my other favorite emcees done songs with artists I don’t really like musically? Why yes! Big, MC Ren, Pac, Jay, KRS One, LL, Cube, Kane and Kool Keith have recorded with artists who’s music I don’t like. Get your money Ra. I’m sure he won’t be rapping in their style of rap. I’m hoping that maybe he will raise the bar so high that these guys will bring their top game. If they rap that fofo nana nana icy pricy style, they will look real stupid on the song. They will have to bring lyrics.

  60. eskay Says:

Let me weigh in on this issue before the thread goes platinum or Ur-Mad comes back (how happy was he when he saw this post?)

First off I don’t hate on dipset as much as the average commenter around here. I enjoy Cam for who he is and I even enjoyed a couple of tracks off the Juelz album. You can’t take shit too seriously, you have to just accept it for what it is. Sure it maybe the up north laffy taffy, but I don’t think anybody can honestly say either of them are as bad as that garbage. And, I don’t want to hear shit, because you all know my opinions and taste in hip hop and I’m sure you all respect it, otherwise you wouldn’t bother coming here. (Now the way the dips handle non music related shit is another story, but at the end of the day that’s just fodder to talk shit and doesn’t affect me or any of you so really, who cares.)

That said, I think a song with dipset isn’t that big of a deal. Alot of us put Ra up on this pedestal like he’s not an everyday dude who has to eat too, who just happens to be possibly the greatest to ever touch a mic. As much as I hate to see people ‘sell out’ I don’t really think this can be considered that. I honestly believe that he respects the dips for their grind and hustle and even respects their music to a certain extent.

So no, it’s not the end of the world, he’s not signing to Dipset, and I’m sure he can do a song or two and not ruin his legacy.

  61. TheCipher Says:

  67. The Truth... Says:

    @ eskay…

He’s not sellin out at all. That’s exactlly what I said. It’s all good in my eyes. Ra, do your thing.
People are quick to talk shit, but never really know the deal.

  68. The Cipher Says:

aiight man… back to the music… and i agree eskay… also E you made a good point… when legends come to spit with these new cats, its no strees to the legend its mostly on the new dude whos trying to show, yes im worthy enough to be on a track with someone who not only respects me but has the respect of 99.9% of the hiphop population for how real he is and how hes brought a certain individuality to the game… so im actually gunna be looking forward to this collabo cause this will be an eye opener to everyone on whether the dips are worth the time they been getting or should be ridiculed as alot of people would love to see… and dont get me wrong, i’ve always liked jim jones’ style(no homo) dudes got a sick flow, so does hell rell(his verse killed get em daddy and you know it) JR writers always got this things bout his tracks that make me like them a bit more everytime i hear em(someone like you) and as for juelz hes not my top pick but “make it work for ya” is a hot track no doubt… but this will trul;y be a teston whether they should be worth our time, and honestly im praying they step there game up on this one

  69. The Truth... Says:

    haha….no doubt.

  70. The Cipher Says:

ok man look at this fool… how could i have wrote all this and that lil comment in that amount of time… plus he still isnt writing my name right wtf

  71. Luis Says:

    RAKIM NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

  72. The Cipher Says:

    oh god Luis woke up

  73. Lili Says:

Eskay- Good look on posting DFB’s sales to date…..I’m not the biggest fan of all these southern mcs…well..I wouldn’t classify DFB, D4L, etc as mcs…..Their shit sucks and everyone knows it. They make it bad for real hip-hop artists in the south who actually have some skills.

But to play devil’s advocate, DFB ain’t running shit and they don’t rep the south (as a whole), so their sales are meaningless.

I support anyone getting their paper, especially with a legal hustle, but DFB ain’t nothing…there’s no point ever discussing them…obsolete is the word that comes to mind.

Speaking of getting one’s paper….I remember seeing Rakim in Juelz video when I was running thru MTV Jams sometime last year and I too was in shock. Never saw that one coming. So you know, seeing someone of Ra’s stature in a dipset video was BS.

I hate to hear him talkin like dipset is really, really doing something. I do love their swagga, and their shit can be hilarious, but as far as actual value….There is none. BUT linkin up with them will throw some paper in his pockets..I’m still expecting the same caliber of music from Rakim, no matter who he’s dealing with. Even if it’s dipset.

    I’m sure he’s working on a master plan…

  74. The Cipher Says:

im telling you guys… the only thing this is gunna do is either make dipset better or expose there wackness… and personally i wonna see them get better, cause shit they got some nice beats… and shit parties get real hype when there shits being played… just now ima be able to rap along with em if they step up

  75. timevslife Says:

so, ra fell off because hes feeling dipset…….you got to be crazy.now, i will admit that sometimes they come off horribly wack, those guys do have talent.plus, its the god mc, he could do a song with kevin federline,he could never fall off.ralkim is getting money like everyone else……..

  76. TYRONEBIGGUMS Says:

i dont have a problem with ra collabing with them the thing that made me sick was when he was quoted as saying juelz is one of his favorite rappers, i mean being political and saying dude is nice is one thing but to say he is one of the best that actual pained me to hear him say

  77. D. Billz Says:

All off the subject: Lupe Fiasco, ’06 Rookie of the Year… I’m callin’ it chief, early! Just bumped every last joint off all his mixtapes (Datpiff dot com), not a weak verse.

  78. TYRONEBIGGUMS Says:

^^^ i havent checked him yet, ive been hearing about him though is he really that nice?

  79. D. Billz Says:

Ty Biggs… you know I don’t co-sign just anyone! Dude is a self-proclaimed nerd kickin’ verses seriously. His freestyles are nuts. His introspective songs are true-to-life. And then he get you when he rap on over a beat that’s not even considered hip hop and MAKES it hip hop. The Kid’s future is bright, man.

If rap was like March Madness, I’m puttin’ him in the Final Four bracket with Pap, Joe Budden, and whoever else is part of the new breed that you think is nice.

  80. D. Billz Says:

    @ Ty Biggs

YOOOO… he got a song called Switch (the Science Project) where the dude switch flow and subject matters over the Still Tippin beat… RI-DIC-U-LOUS.

  81. dCs Says:

i agree with what blood hound said way back up there. then, i think LL needs to put something out that it just straight rhymes. fuck the hooks, just 6 minutes of beastin about whatever it is. i STILL bump Radio CONSTANTLY, he needs to go back to those days

  82. beastnigga Says:

Dudes should know when to end their career(cipher) i can’t agree wit you on that one homeboy. due to the fact that hiphop is about 30 yrs old. still in its infantcy. when compared to ppl that had careers that spanned 40 50 yrs. bb king, ray charles, aretha franklin, galdys knight. rappers ain’t dead they just getting older playa. if thats the mentality then hiphop will be dead in 10 yrs.

  83. mr. pilliam Says:

    I LOVE IT!

    Max B Is President?

  84. E From BK Says:

The best rappers are in their 30′s. Rock fans don’t go around saying, “them u2 cats are too old!” They appreciate the music. With Hip Hop, anybody that can form a sentence thinks they can make a quality record. With that, you have all these people wanting to get on and they hate the fact that this older guy has a spot they want. On the other hand, these older cats need to stop trying to please these kids. That’s why you have to respect LL, KRS One, Nas and Jay. For the most part they talk grown man talk.

  90. Demiks Says:

    >> When Rakim signed with dre and couldn’t put a hot cd together I knew something was definitely wrong.

    Ignooooraaaaaant foooooool. Hush up!

Rakim’s album WAS nice, if you’ve heard the songs that were put out like “Welcome to the Hood,” you would see. Rakim’s album didn’t drop because it wasn’t candy coated enough. Jimmy Iovine shelved it. I thought it was bad enough hearing him on that Truth Hurts song! The only thing wrong is that Aftermath wanted a legend to make pop music.

Back on topic, like everyone was saying, Rakim was in the “Mic Check” video. Supposedly he laced a track with Juelz before then already too, I read about it before his newest record dropped, don’t no where though.

  91. The Truth... Says:

Personally, I think DipSet is doin it….The whole crew is solid (Jim Jones is the only one that I still think is suspect). JR is crazy with it, Hell Rell is really holdin down the BX, Cam is dope, minus what people call “nursery rhymes”, which I think are often funny. These cats is just makin money and havin fun. Can’t hate on that. Plus, Cam is better on his albums than on the mixtapes, etc….it’s known…

No doubt, Cam had serious heat when COC was around, but times have changed and so has his life/lifestyle…

    Rakim knows what’s up.

And I was thinking about the rhymes in his JayZ dis that people said he took from NaS (Joe Camel, JJ Evans, etc). I think he did that on purpose to try and cause problems between them in a way. Everybody knows NaS said that shit and now JayZ has to hear it again while he’s working with NaS…..no? That’s my idea….nobody would have used them knowing how well everybody knows NaS said them first…

  92. joe 88 Says:

also i’d like to add… i second lupe fiasco being the rookie of the year 06… i got his mixtape… farenhiet 1/15: revenge of the nerd… his lyrics are just pro… “kick push” is a wicked song that i think everyone needs tgo get there hands on… also i second “switch(the science project)” cause the flows hes uses on the song are just insane, “conflict diamonds” where he spits on the diamonds from sierra lione beat… hes straight goods in 06 and having kanye behind him is just gunna give him some nice fuel to burn his fire with

  101. GET Says:

  102. barr code Says:

I saw it coming….first. Back last year, I got a call to work on a low budget “dip set” video. Mad people were working for free to help the director who was getting his reel together. In fact I stayed up all night and rolled into Shadow Studios on 18th st. where it was shot in black slacks and shoes. Tired as fuck, I set up all the chairs and tables as I was a “prop assistant” for the classroom shot.
Yeah I was a reck, out all night, liquer and trees still circulating in me. So when I saw the god come thru the front door, I seriously could not belive my eyes….I pressed palms with the god, and looked him in the face with infinite respect. ( I was 11 when Paid in Full dropped, and pretty much have ingraved in my mind the lyrics of every track off of every LP since) He hardly cracked a smile, yet the respect was more than evident.

I was 5 feet from Ra when we greeted Julez and said, and I quote

“Sup, wanted to come down and let you know you doin ya thing. I’m really feelin your style” (or sound, can’t remember)

My jaw straight dropped. Fact was alot of cats in there was mad young and were oblivious to who was in thier presense.

I gotta admit, the thought of Rakim praising Julez, still haunts me. But as some of ya’ll stated. He’ll only (out)shine on a few track with the Dip Sticks. Both they styles can’t be in same room for too long.

It’s all business. Don’t sweat a technique that’s only temporary.

Thats funny. But wasn’t Eric B a notorious D-boy that flipped his cash to freak they Paid in Full Jawn?
Meaning, Ra bean closer to crack (raps) than some of you wanna aknowledge.

  107. Benzino Says:

Groupie love? what you talkin bout?

  109. LexxLuthor Says:

Man, I am from the south.. Little rock, AR to be exact. The East has been doin it well for a long time now. The comments from those like TL is the reason why NYC is Giving it’s position away as the greatest hit factory in the world. F**Kin look up the words “Unity” & “Loyalty” in webster’s and try to get it in your small brain’s that those words, along with the condition of the audiece’s that your idea of so-called “real” hip Hop; has taken those who not just listen, but live this real hip hop you speak of. Don’t you think it’s strange that this generation of hip hop, which some of yall seem to hate so much, that gangster shit, that crack, is’nt just a new york thing anymore? That’s because that struggle yall used to rap about is a struggle that affects us all now. We spit that gangster crack shit because our people are hurting man. Those Powers that be that taught black folks how to cook that shit need us to slow our progress of empowerment; both finacially and mentally. We spit that gangster crack shit because if those powers that be can’t deliver our 40 acres and our mothaF**ckin mule then were going to serve that same Crack they taught us how to cook right back to they’er children. I don’t give a F**K if 2 wrong never make a right It’s our responsibilty to feed our own, empower our own, educate our own, and most importantly Raise our own to be better than we ourselves are. Quit Hating on DipSET you bitches….. cuz them niggaz are feeding the hood outside of this music shit. Niggaz Like Juelz, and Cam feel me, and in turn, they fuC*s with the south. (Where those powers really did damage to our people) And If you can’t support the effort Keep your Fu*Kin snide comments to yourself, or, that Gangster Crack shit will be knocking at ya door.

  110. LexxLuthor Says:

You willie Lynch MuthaF**KAz are killin me

  111. E From BK Says:

That gangster crack shit is very old. People been talking about that shit since 1983! Here we are 23 years later and it’s STILL the subject of most niggas rhymes? Come on man! How is gangster crack shit empowering? How? Everybody on here either knows somebody or has directly been touched by that ganster crack so it’s BEEN brought to peoples doors. There is nothing new about that shit. I done had people break into my house, friends and family murdered physically, friends commit murder, friends and family dead mentally and friends sent to prison behind that gangster crack shit. Who is benefitting from this? You got the nerve to call people Willie Lynch? Is this Willie himself? Sell crack to their children? Fuck that, I only see OUR children affected by that shit! We are the ones going to jail, we are the ones in that crack house sparking up, it’s our women suckin’ dick for a hit, it’s our children who can’t even play in a fuckin’ playground without getting shot! Fuck that!

  112. E From BK Says:

    Willie Lynch motherfuckers!

  113. LexxLuthor Says:

U Did’nt get It Player, it’s “This Is Powerful Music cousin” “Not Powerful Pyrex”

  114. LexxLuthor Says:

  115. Ginger Says:

People who immediately holler “hater!” whenever anyone says that they don’t like something are really just revealing their abysmally lacking intellect and absence of reasoning abilities. We should pity them because it’s a sign of profound stupidity.

That said, I will be heartbroken if I ever hear a collabo between Rakim and those clowns. He would have been better off laying a verse on the Biggie duets album (actually, if it had a good beat, that could have been HOT!)

  116. LexxLuthor Says:

And thats why NYC is know longer on top Cuz yall HATE ON EACH OTHER.
    DIPSET BITCH!!!!!

  117. CONSTANT ELEVATION Says:

Rakim is the best rapper lyrically period and i can prove it.. His wisdom when he speaks is for only for the chosen ones to see.. The rest of the negative ones are not suppose to see. They suppose to be right where there at mentally until its there time or just die in mental darkness.. And when negatve people even catch a glimse of light and wisdom there either change for the better or use what is ment for righteous-ness and use it for there own benefit meaning to be slick and crafty like there superior then the rest instead of us growing together as “one”. We have division at the table when we suppose come together at the table to eat food for thought we suppose to grow spiritually, mentally to manifest it physically to become wiser and i mean wiser not a wise ass.”CONSTANT ELEVATION”. Like for instance in his ryme – Mystery (who is god) he says in eternal blackness in the mist of the darkess night -(MEANINING YOUR MIND IS IN DARKNESS YOU CAN’T SEE SPIRITUAL YET)- protein and minerals exist in within spects of light.( MEANING LIGHT IS WHEN YOU AWARE OF THINGS IN THIS LIFE SPIRITUALLY. GET IT YET. TAKE THE PILLOW FROM YOUR HEAD AND PUT A BOOK IN IT)THEN HE SAYS – solid, liquids, and gasses ( Meaning EVERYTHING in THIS LIFE IS MADE UP- OF THESES THREE COMPONENTS THAT WE USE ALL THINGS IN LIFE SO WE CAN GROW FROM ) .THEN HE SAYS – No beginning or ending and seven dimensions .. I
NOTHING TO PROVE PLUS IM TIRED STAY IN DARKNESS OR GROW THIS IS CHOICE NOT CHANCE.. YOU GOT A CHOICE TO BE IGNORANT OR DO WHAT YOU WANT BUT YOUR CHOICE DETIMINES YOUR DESTINY>>>THEN YOUR FUTURE IN THIS LIFE >>> RAKIM QUOTE EDUCATED PUNCH LINES THAT I HAVE TO HIT>>> KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN BEWARE OF A OVERDOSE>> CHILDREN IN THE MENTAL) JUST BECAUSE YOUR A MAN DOESNT MEAN YOUR GROWN UP SPIRITUALLY , MENTALLY .>>THIS IS A LIFE TIME MISSION VISION OF PRISON- A LIFETIME TO LEARN WHY WE ON THIS EARTH AND HOW SOME IS TRAP IN THERE MIND AS A PRISONER… TIME TO TAKE AWAY THE CHAINS REBUILD MY NAME… THE CHAINS IN YOUR MIND OF THINGS THAT KEEP YOU BLIND MENTALLY AND HOLD YOU DOWN FROM GROWNING >>YOUR NAME YOUR IDENTITY WHO YOU R IN THIS LIFE… HIS MESSAGE ARE HIDDEN THE EYE OF MAN BUT NOT TO UPCOMING CHOSEN ONES WHO R SPIRITUALLY CHOSEN TO HAVE ETERNAL LIGHT.. IT WILL BE SEEN SOONER OR LATER… HE CHOSEN FOR WHAT HE DOES IM CHOSEN WHAT I DO AND SO ON… ITS LIKE TRYING TO READ TO BIBLE AT FIRST NOT GETTING THE MESSAGE AT FIRST THEN GROWING MORE AND GETTING MATURE INTO IT..THEN YOU START TO UNDERSTAND AS YOU MATURE THAT YOU GOT TO DRINK LIQUIDS FIRST THE YOU EAT SOLID FOODS AS YOU GROWN …. MANY WAYS TO SAY THE UNSAID BORN WITH THREE SEVENS IN MY HEAD…THIS RIGHT HERE IS ONE OF RAKIMS RYMES COMPARE IT TO ANYTHING ANY RAPPER IN THIS LIFE WHO IS TO COME AND TELL ME HE AINT THE BEST PERIOD THERE WILL NEVER BE NO ONE TO BRAKE DOWN YOUR BRAIN LIKE RAKIM DOES I HAVENT SEEN IT YET OR THEY HAVENT EVEN COME CLOSE OR MAYBE JUST MAYBE THERE WILL BE IN THE FUTURE WITH THE HELP OF HIS INSIGHT THERE’LL BE SOMEONE IN THE FUTURE THAT WILL COME BUT IN THIS LIFETIME I DOUBT IT,- NOW PEEP HIS RYME SKILLS AND TELL ME WHO THE HELL COMES CLOSE AND THEN I CAN LAUGH IN YOU FACE HARD -READ HIS RYME FROM HERE ON>>>>>>>>THIS IS RAKIM>>>>> I TOOK THE KID AND CUT OFF HIS EYE LIDS ( I CUT THEM OFF SPIRITUALLY NOT MEANING PHYSICALLY, YOU CANT CLOSE YOUR EYES WITHOUT YOUR EYE LIDS, NOW YOU CAN SEE WHATS COMING AT ALL TIMES ) KILLING HIM SLOW SO HE CAN SEE WHAT I DID- NOT KILLING FOR REAL BUT KILLING HIS OLD WAYS OF THINKING AND MAKING HIM GIVE BIRTH TO THE TRUTH LIGHT IN HIS HEAD WHICH IS ETERNAL IN WISDOM> GET IT YET>>> IF HE DONT UNDERSTAND WHAT I SAID, IM PUSHING HIS EYEBALLS WAY TO THE BACK OF HIS HEAD, SO HE CAN SEE WHAT HE IS GETTING INTO, THE PART OF THE MIND HE NEVER BEEN THROUGH, THE JOURNEY IS COMING CAUSE HE’S GETTING SENT TO A PLACE HARDER TO FIND BUT IT ALL IN THE MENTAL, I RUN A BRAINSCAN TO LOCATE HIS GAMEPLAN, WHEN I THROUGH WITH HIS BRAIN
HE AINT THE SAME MAN, DID HE LOSE HIS MIND OR GOT LOST IN HIS MIND, BUT THIS AINT THE LOST AND FOUND, BECAUSE HE CANT FIND HIS FOUNDATION, IT’S COASTING, YOUR MIND IS DRIFTING IN SLOW MOTION, FROZEN. IT’S LIKE ANOTHER MURDER IN THE MARDI GRAS BEE( MEANING A MURDER OF YOUR SO CALLED IMMATURE IDENTITY TO GIVE BIRTH TO WHAT IS REAL AND MORE PURE IN WISDOM,
KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING WHICH WHAT HE’S WRITING IN TRUE RYME FORM) ONCE YOUR OUT OF YOUR HEAD YOU CANT GET BACK, I GIVE THEM A MAP, BUT THEY STILL GET TRAP . PREPARE THE CHAMBER >>THE TORTURE IS COMING, AS YOU TRIP TROUGH THE MIND AT THE END YOU WILL FIND IT THE PUNISHER… ( HE DIDNT SAY HE WAS THE PUNISHER HE SAID YOUR OWN MIND IS YOUR OWN DESTRUCTION AND IF YOU THINK NEGATVE YOU’LL SELF DESTRUCT.>>>>MIND TAKES X-RAYS SO LISTEN CLOSELY FROM THE DARKNESS THERE BECAME THE LIGHT CLEAR OUT OF A DARK NIGHT NOW IM HERE TO SPARK THE MIC…THE WORLD IS OUT OF SIGHT.( YOU KNOW YOU CAN READ THE IMPRINT OF DIME WITH A SATELITE FROM SPACE BUT IT’S MAN MADE AND HE’S SAYING HIS LIGHT AND WISDOM IN ETERNAL SPIRIT IS FAR BEYOND MAN’S THINKING AND THEY CANT READ HIM MENTALLY EVEN USING MAN MADE THINGS TO CATCH WHAT HE SHOWS IN THE MENTAL WITH EVEN IF THEY USE A SATELITE TO TUNE INTO HIS GOD GIFTED WISDOM THATS FOR ALL BUT MAN IS SLICK AND MAN TRYS TO DECEIVE AND COMPARE BUT CAN TRY TO USE WAYS TO DECEIVE BUT IT DONT COMPARE WITH GODS ETERNAL WISDOM THATS GIVEN TO US IN THIS LIFETIME) (THE MESSAGE IS SUBLIMAL BUT WRITTEN IN SPIRITUAL FORM)…THE FAR AS THE EYE CAN SEE NOT EVEN A SATELITE NOW STOP AND TURN AROUND AND LOOK AS YOU STARE INTO DARKNESS YOUR KNOWLEDGE IS TOOK > KEEP STARING SUDDENLY YOU’LL SEE A STAR YA BETTER FOLLOW IT CAUSE IT’S THE “R”. THIS IS A LESSON IF YOUR GUESSING OR BORROWING >>HURRY HURRY STEP RIGHT UP
AND KEEP FOLLOWING THE LEADER…IF YOU DIDNT KNOW BIG DADDY KANE USE TO HEAR RAKIMS RYMES BEFORE THEY CAME OUT TO THE PUBLIC >>>> FROM KNOWLEDGE TO BORN, BACK TO KNOWLEDGE PRECISE…REMEMBER IT AINT WHERE YOUR FROM ITS WHERE YOUR AT, MENTALLY,,,( IF YOU A THIEF,SEX FIENE, A CON ARTIST, A BULLSHIT ARTIST , YOU COULD HAVE A FULL OF SHIT MENTALITY WHEN DEALING WITH CERTAIN INDIVIDUALS ,THATS WHERE YOU AT MENTALLY WHEN DEALING WITH YOUR THOUGHTS IN YOU AND SURROUNDING YOU AT THE PRESENT STATE , SO KNOW WHERE YOU MENTALLY AT WHEN DEALING WITH ANYTHING IN YOU OR AROUND YOU > BUT IF THERE DIVISION AT THE TABLE AND WE GOT ONE OR SAY COUPLE OF BAD APPLES AT THE TABLE TRYING TRYING TO DIVIDE US SO WE CAN SEPARATE WAGING WAR AND ALL TYPE OF CHAOS AND SHIT>>> BUT YOULL SEE WHOS WHO WHILE READING THE POST MESSAGE HERE, WHOS BLIND OR JUST MENTALLY NOT AWARE YET TO THE REAL…RAKIM ->>>> I DONT LET IT GET TO ME THE WRITER WILL BE LEFT TO DIE…… BUT IT GET MESMERIZED IF IT CATCH YOUR EYE MY SHINE IS ENORMOUS …MENTAL DEATH>> WE ALL MUST FACE PHYSICAL DEATH BUT WHAT ABOUT ETERNAL SPIRITUAL DARKNESS..
COMPETITION IS NONE I REMAIN AT THE TOP LIKE THE SUN( IF MY MIND HAD THE LIGHT FILLED WITH WISDOM AS BRIGHT AS THE SUN, TRY TO COME CLOSE TO IT WHAT HAPPENS YOU’LL BURN, NOW IF THE SUN DISAPPEARS FROM THE EARTH WHAT HAPPENS , SIMPLE WE ALL DIE, TO SOME THE LIGHT OF LIFE I SO BRIGHT IT BLINDS YOU , BUT IF YOU LOOK INTO IT AND GET THE WISDOM OF LIFE OUT OF IT YOUR ON SAFE GROUND IN THIS EXISTENCE AND THE LIGHT WHICH IS REALLY IN OURSELVES THAT GOD GIVEN US BUT WE LOOKING OUTSIDE OURSELVES AND ITS ALL IN US BUT YOU HAVE TO HAVE SOUND SPIRIT IN YOU READY TO LEARN…..HE GAVE A GOOD DISCIPTION OF THIS AND I’LL REPEAT IT.. COMPETITION IS NONE I REMAIN AT THE TOP LIKE THE SUN AND I’LL BURN WHO COMES IN THE CHAMBERS OF TORTURE I CAUGHT YA, YOU SHOULD OF BROUGHT YA NEIGHBOR HOOD TO SUPPORT YA, NO ONE IN MY PATH CAN WITHSTAND, UNDER THE PRESSURE, AND THE RAFT OF A SWIFT MAN, YOU NAME THE DAY , THE GROUNDS WILL BE NEUTRAL, YOU SPEAK YOUR PEACE , THE FEELINGS MUTUAL, WE CAN GO FROM TOPIC TO TOPIC, WHENEVER I DROP IT, TRY TO STOP IT, IN OTHER WORDS, WHAT THE BROTHER HEARD , HE TRIED TO CATCH, BUT WHAT OCCURED, TO MUCH WEIGHT FOR ONE BRAIN TO TAKE, HE TRIED TO CONCENTRATE TO MAINTAIN THEN ELEVATE, BUT FROM GRAM TO OUNCE , POUND TO POUND NO MATTER THE WEIGHT YOU CANT HOLD MY MIND DOWN, PERMANENT DAMAGE I DO AWAY WITH , NO TIME FOR FUN, CAUSE I DONT PLAY WITH COMPETITOR’S, THERE’S ONLY ONE WHEN I’M DONE , COMPETITION FOR THIS TO MENTION IS NONE……. SEVEN HOLES IN MY FACE AS IM LOOKING OUT MY WINDOW..meaning TWO HOLES IN YOUR NOSE !ONE IN EACH EAR THATS TWO, ONE IN MY MOUTH, AND ONE IN EACH EYE THAT TWO WITH ALL SEVEN … IF YOU AINT WISE THEN DONT EVEN COME, COMPETITION FOR THIS TO MENTION IS NONE… IM UNTOUCHABLE YOU SEE ME IN 3D…ELEVATE OFF A HIGH EYE QUE IN TIME YOU’LL FIND I’M TRUE CAUSE ONCE START ON A PEICE OF ART FROM SUN TO MOON FROM DARK TO LIGHT I BUILD AN ARK…..TAKE A PEEK AT THE SKYLINE CAUSE HOW I’LL SHINE WHEN I RYME…..TAKEN PIECE’S AND BITS OF ALL MY HIP HOP HITS…I SIT BACK AND OBSERVE THE WHOLE SCENARY, AND TELL YOU WHAT IT MEAN TO ME, STRICTLY BUSINESS, I’M QUICKLY IN THIS MOOD AND I DON’T CARE IF THE WHOLE CROWDS THE WITNESS, I GONNA TEAR YOU APART BUT I’Ma SPEAR YOUR HEART, program into the speed of the rhyme, prepare to start,
rhythm’s out of the radius, insane as the craziest
musical madness MC ever made, see it’s
    now an emergency, open-heart surgery…
open your mind, you will find every word’ll be
furier than ever, I remain the furture,
    battle’s tempting…whatever suits ya!
FROM words TO sentence, there’s no resemblance,
you think you’re ruffer, then suffer the consequences!
    I’m never dying-terrifying results,
I wake ya with hundreds of thousands of volts,
    mic-to-mouth resuscitation, rhythm with radiation,
novicane ease the pain it might save him,
if not, Eric B.’s the judge, the crowd’s the jury…
How do I plead to homicide?
