Jenkins and about nine men fled the scene in two sport utility vehicles, police spokesman Robert Hernandez told The Miami Herald.

Officers stopped both vehicles, and found a semiautomatic firearm under Jenkins’ seat and another gun near the armrest when they searched his SUV.

I was in and outta jail like fat chicks in and outta jenny craig. Then one day a Judge told me either I do 10 to 20 years or join service. So I join the Marines and that changed me all together.

    Going to all these different countries seeing how they living made me realize we as americans don’t have it “that” bad at all. Shit they have lil kids over there with guns bigger than them shooting at us and shit. I did some fucked up shit each time I was deployed but I know that it was for the greater good. I’ve been in the service for 6 years and although it fucked me up in the head, it also opened my eyes to the truth, we as a people need to wake up.

    But in closing I would like to say this, I was born and raised in New Orleans and I got some R and R time just before Katrina hit and I was in town as the waters rushed in and claimed the city, (me and 4 others from my unit) when I tell you it was like Kosovo had been moved to the US with a just add water sign. The governmet let us down it turned its backs on us. Not saying it could have been avoided only God knows if the levee’s would held up even if they would’ve been reinforced, but I’m saying they could have done a better job evacuating the city and rushing suplies in to law enforcement and civilans stranded behind…
