EXCLUSIVE: Nas Statement on Cam’ron

So there’s been this rumor floating around all day that Nas is going to have some harsh words for Cam during an interview him and Jay did for BET. Well, I’ve learned from a pretty reliable source that the rumor is true, and I even have a direct quote from The Little Homey:
Nas: Some of these artists that come at artists have everything you could tear down in a rhyme. Just look at them. Just look at their appearance, look what they sound like, how they got in the game. The whole history of their existence in rap is a joke. I just don’t understand the nerve of some of these dudes.
BET: To be attacking guys like y’all.

That quote is golden. When I read the rumor, I had initially assumed that AHH mixed up BET with MTV, who are airing a Jay/Nas interview tonight, but apparently they sat for interviews with both networks. Nas is a funny guy. That quote reminds me of the infamous Power 105 interview after Hot 97 shut his lynching stunt down at Summerjam and he went on air and dissed Flex, Angie, Cam, and Nore.

What relevance does 50 Cent have in this discussion? Does it really matter what 50 Cent says or does now? Its clear that his only intention over the past year was keeping his name bubbling through the media. We all know 50 & Jay-Z have a working relationship, its a damn facade.
With that being said, I can’t wait to hear Nas destroy Cam. Hip Hop is getting more interested and ignorant everyday.
I already feel the Dipset movement losing their grip. Who knows though, Jay might be on the phone to Cam’ron as we speak laughing it up.
